[10:56] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) WELL looks like some one had a good time, well not really good time, the rotting bodies in the street really making a mess of things including the blood, so he would huff a little and look behind him at Nuria. Who looked at him with disdain, "Hey I still have that spell to practice, I hope your up for it." The female Fire Elemental grumped a bit, as Vincent moved to the well to start fetching buckets of water, his eyes moving back to the blood piles.... how was he going to write this up!
[10:57] Finn Aie dusts the bar, "Greetings. What can I get you?"
[10:59] Sheonna DuCairne: scrunches her nose as she entered the tavern, not particularly fond of the smell of the quarter. She knew something was going to happen, and it made her sick that her gut feeling was correct. At least she was safe in her home. "Ale, love." she replied gently, noticing the bar-maiden. That caused the half-elf to chuckle. She was in the same position not a few days prior.
[11:00] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he continued to do as he was setting out buckets of water and he looked back over to the Female Fire Elemental, "You could, you know, grab a cart.... I mean honestly." he laughed a little as he looked to the half eaten bloodied up putrid bodies on the ground, he sighed a little as the Fire Elementaless went off to fetch him a cart to stack the bodies in. They would have to get to the infirmary some how.... and he would huff, as he felt lots of pain was in his near future. Never the less he got more buckets ready to clean off the blood.
[11:01] Finn Aie draws a tankard of ale, blows off the suds, tops it up up and sets it before the woman, trying not to stare at her ears, "Do you have a tab or is it to be coin of the realm?"
[11:03] Chione (bokystroki) taps the table as she pondered on this, before smirking. "Put it on Bane's tab, marnanwe." she cooed, watching the guard on the street, with a grunt.
[11:03] Finn Aie: Very well, Miss.
[11:05] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he didnt hear the grunt as his head was in a well getting more buckets, his fire elemental was soon to return with a cart, badgering vincent about how she could burn the bodies and that would be rid of them, to which Vincent turned around and rose a brow, "Thats allw ell and good if it wasnt so clsoe to the bar..." he said with a shake of his head and a sigh. as he put the last bucket he'd probably need down on the ground and started to gather bodies, hefting half bodies and some which had been partially consumed up and into the wagon. He honestly wasnt expecting much help from the people in town...
[11:06] Finn Aie fumbles with the account sheets, her lips forming the sounds of the letters until she find B-ay-N and makes the entry carefully, sanding the ink with satisfaction.
[11:06] Chione (bokystroki) swiveling her head to look at the bar maiden, she asked curiously, "Haven't see ye around here before." the half-elf grinned towards her, a warm aura radiating from her, like a big ball of sunshine. Turning back to watch the guard and the fire elemental, she shivered slightly. Damn hoodoo magicks and what not.
[11:07] Finn Aie: Just started, Miss. Just now, in fact.
[11:07] Finn Aie chuckles.
[11:09] Chione (bokystroki) aaaaahs. "Well tha' makes sense!" she scratched her chin as she talked, her curiosity sated.
[11:10] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he tossed the cadaver into the cart and went back for another, slipping in the gore and blood ending up on his arse, sighing a little as he looked to the body infront of him, as he stood up slowly, trying not to slip and get a better footing and hefting the next body up and starting towards the cart, He was going to need a bath after this, "You could help make this go faster you know." he grumped at the fiesty fire elemental. Who reluctantly walked forward and started to also heft bodies up and toss them on the cart... "Show off." he said to her. Only now noticing they were being watched and he would speak up on his way back to the body pile, "Can I help ya?"
[11:10] Finn Aie carefully attends to business behind the bar, studiously not getting involved.
[11:15] Chione (bokystroki) leans back in her chair, watching still, though waving her hand rather dismissively, "Nae, keep doin' what yer doin' love!"
[11:16] Finn Aie sets a tray of small spirits glasses on the bar and begins scrupulously polishing them, fogging each with her breath, then wiping it down with the bar rag, humming quiety.
[11:17] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he rose his brow as she waved dismissively at him, and would huff a bit as he shook his head continuing to draw up bodies and huck them on the pile which was only starting to get larger on the cart.... "Alright then." he said, as he would continue to clean the mess up, after all the bodies were placed on the wagon he would start taking buckets and spashing the water on the blood to get it to flow towards the stairs, and so that it would start to drain downward. And away from the square.
[11:20] Finn Aie observes the man washing down the street and can't help but make idle chatter to nobody in particular, "That's the problem with stone. Gotta clean up all the time. Back home, the mud soaks everything up. No washing needed. Much more practical."
[11:21] Chione (bokystroki) nods to the woman, agreeing. The fishy smell really was nauseating, but being within the trapper shop made her pretty impervious to these things. "Aye."
[11:22] Finn Aie smiles as she polishes, "Of course, you have to wipe your feet before you go inside....
[11:23] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he huffed a little and he furrowed his brows. Specially as he continued to try and wash the blood away from the stone, yeah indeed but, such was his day, and he was going to smell of death after today, who knew if he was able to get it out, and as such another bucket was splashed outward.
[11:30] Chione (bokystroki) laughs, "Bumberry is not going to be happy 'bout this." she ventured, mentioning the owner fo the tavern itself as she drummed her fingers on the table.
[11:30] Finn Aie shrugs, "He will get over it -- or die pissed off. How's yer drink?"
[11:32] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he laughed a little, yeah Bane wouldnt like the blood at all or the death outside his tavern but he would sigh getting the last bits of blood off the ground and washed away as best he could with the last bucket that was piled up. He then looked around slightly and nodded his head before moving to the cart with the fire elemental.... he then huffed as he looked to her, "Lets get these to the infirmary, maybe we can learn something." he said as he would start to move the cart down that way....
[11:33] Chione (bokystroki) had been so detracted on conversation - she didn't even pick up the tankard! "Ah-" she murmured, before grasping the thing, and taking a long haul of it, before licking her lips happily. "Good as always!" she watched the guard begin to head gods knows where, nodding her head.
[11:34] Finn Aie nods back relaxing as the authorities leave the scene, "All's well then."
[11:43] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he sighed softly as he moved into the infirmary covered in bits of other people, and would reach a bloodied hand out to ring the bell, yep, if he had his wings out he'd be a regular grim reaper, but he was just doing his job and so he would pace around, Nuria waited outside with the cart of dead bodies needing formal inspection by some one qualified to give cause of death... and as such he would pace a bit waiting to see what would come of his 'gift' to the infirmary
11:45] Cypriana Vanya Tamalyn rolled her shoulders slowly, even if his emotions weren't overwhelming, the upset that Padishar felt was potent enough to creep up her spine and agitate the crimson haired elf. Slipping fingers over the gash marks that lined Bu's body, shaking her head softly, "If there were only a few of these, I'd offer you an herbal remedy and suggest rest. However, considering your size.." glancing down at his tail, "and how your appendage moves, I think you'd just reopen them time and time again." Placing her hands together, in front of her waist, "Do you mind magical healing.." It was always her practice to ask, of course, considering some had an aversion to such things. Assuring him, "I hurry nothing, that is the way of humans, not elves. My life may not be as long as yours, but I prefer not to waste my time rushing through it." Hearing the exchange between the boys she would swipe one hand through the air quickly, "Whatever transpired outside of these walls shall remain outside of these walls. Bickering about it, or planning other bouts of violence can be done on your own time in your own dwellings. Not mine." her tone was sharp, and carried the weight of her authority in the moment, "Negetivity is not welcome here." As if it was as easy as turning a light switch on and off, she resumed her pleasant demeanor, glancing to how the nurse massages Padishar's bruises with the balm, "It seems that Singradel is almost done with your application, Padishar. Will you want to bring some of the balm away with you?" Hilde answered the ringading of the bell, "ugh god man, what you bring us dere.." grabbing her nose with forefinger and thumb, "Dead bodies go uppastairs in da back back room dere. " Opening the door, and thudding around to the steps, "up ere..".
[11:56] Padishar Ishtari blinked a bit at Cy's outburst for them talking about round two. And just looked over Bu, "I don't want to fight you lot again... Not like that." he grumps. Looking to the nurse and then to Cy, "I'll be fine without it... I can pay you for your time, though. I have coin." he carefully fishes out the smallish coinpurse he had in his pocket. "I think Meri wishes to speak with you when you have a chance... The herbs and rubs and... whatever else is in this stuff will help soon enough, I'm sure. Right now I'm thinking I may want a stiff drink and a nap." he scoots a little once the nurse is finished and gives Bu a look, "Summoning up a bunch of zombies in the square to attack the locals isn't any way to promote longevity of your people. Respect and all would be had... but I for one won't be trusting any fish anytime soon." he tries to stand up. "What happened to the woman with the bow? She was standing there next to me." he asks Bu pointedly. He meant poor Tiri.
[12:02] Bu'zyasti'in chuckled in a good-natured manner and held still as Cy inspected his wounds and rumbled, "Ah've nae problem with magical healin', lass. Ah'm nae expert, if'n ye think that be best, ye can go ahead." The serpent's eyebrows rose slightly at the sudden sharp comment from the elven woman, to which he replied, "Ah though Ah was givin' th' lad a compliment, but if'n that be yer wish, Ah'll 'old me tongue." At this point, he was only vaguely aware of the ringing bell and Hilde's assistance given to the male in the entrance, mostly because self-centered snake was self-centered. Turning slightly, he affixed his eyes to Padi as he spoke up, then flashed a broad grin, "Lad, that's th' same as what /Ah/ was sayin', ye ken? Next time, Ah dinnae want th' rest o' th' lot ta step in 'n ruin me fun." This was followed by a broad shrug, and a continuation of, "Ah'm nae tryin' ta promote anythin' laddie, 'n Ah cannae say Ah'm tae worried about 'ow we be seen. Ah 'ad me fun." The huge serpent blinked - notably good eye, as his blinded one had such heavy scarring around it that it never quite shut entirely. "Cannae say, ta be truthsome lad. Ah lose me 'ead a bit when Ah get all guid n' riled, dinnae see tae much o' me surroundins' aside from what Ah'm hittin'." Yup, he was one of those tunnel-vision berserker types.
[12:05] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he furrowed his brows a bit at the woman, "Bodies from what looks like a very vicious attack last night, most are either half bodies or have been partially consumed, I'd like who ever examins them to determine what ate them, or the cause of death if they arent all, you know, caused from bleeding out or massive injury." he said towards the woman, "And send the reports to the guard house." This happened in Aberwyth territory, and wasnt going to go unanswered to. But there was more then one body, so he'd have to make multiple trips up the stairs with his Elemental Companion hucking bodies with him. SADLY he couldnt overhear Padi's conversation as he's busy hefting bodies for Cy to play with later up the stairs and into the back room... OR he may have had to take some sorta action. It wasnt like people reported these things to the proper authorities anyway.... He huffed a little exhausted after the third body had been unloaded from the cart, huffing and puffing exhaustively cause, lets be honest, bodies...
where heavy.... and so was the scent of blood.
[12:11] Cypriana Vanya Tamalyn gave Padishar a look, she didn't appreciate him carrying on after she had insisted talk of it end. The refusal of the remedy was met with indifference, though her tone was pleasant as she replied, "We do not charge for healing. If you were to buy a remedy we charge, but healing is our duty. If not all can pay, none shall have to pay.." Dipping her head in acknowledgment, " Of course, Meri is welcome to come by at any time. I have missed the blush of her kind visage." When Padishar continued she felt her body tense slightly, and her feet dance around underneath the pool of her long dresses hem. Worry tugged at her, but she'd swallow the emotion as best she could, recognizing it were not her own to contend with. Then the serpent had to chime in as well, closing her eyes she collected herself, allowing a number of thoughts about men no matter their race will be men and how exhausting it was. Hilde's heavy foot falls could be heard thudding around over head, and her loud voice echoes th
e whole building, "Well ain't that a sin an a shame there.. all dem bodies.." her fat litte fingers poking towards them, counting, "some o dese look like they been dead fer awhile.. and why they all in pieces.." scrunching her face, moving toward one piece and picking it up, "dis part o' a head?" then dropping it, "woops, too slickery wit blood.." Cypriana tried to ignore the rake of Hilde's voice and look up to Bu, "Then I shall begin.." Removing the crystal that hung around her neck, and holding it between her palms. Lidding her eyes she would start to sing a gentle elven song, drawing her magic forward. Slowly her hands would begin to glow, the glow slowly freying off in small white tendrils, that seemed to seek Bu's body.
[12:14] Padishar Ishtari smelled the blood and had enough time spent around corpses to know the scent of fresh-ish bodies. He had made it to stand and still felt rather sore, but the distraction got his attention the moment Bu made it clear he didn't have answers. Glancing to Cy and then back to Bu, "I need to go look.. I'm sorry." he was just worried now, if what he smelled and part of what he heard (the dwarf mostly) was any indication, his answers were right in the other room. He moves up and over the bed, stepping once on the cushion and stepping down the other side. He hurt, but forced himself to move anyways. Remorseless snake was just going to get him riled up and Cy would probably throw him out if he stuck around.
[12:20] Bu'zyasti'in was completely and utterly oblivious to Cy's disapproval, unfortunately, far too caught up in his own fantastic mood to be anything even close to sensitive. An eyebrow arched when finally he became aware of Hilde's conversation with Vincent coming from the other room, though for the time being he didn't comment. While he certainly had no moral problem with eating people, he tended not to do it where battles were concerned. Something about being an old warrior gave him at least a little respect for fallen enemies. Hearing Cy's statement he gave a short nod, then held still again, only moving his eyes to follow Padi's progress out of the room.
[12:22] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he looked to Hilde and nodded his head with a sigh, "I dont quite know, I spent my time guarding the Manor house of the Lady Last night, But I agree, some of them do, I just like to have my reports be thorough for further investigations." he said as he went down to grab more bodies. He then looked towards Padi as he walked out of the back room, a body hucked over his shoulder, as his elemental went up the stairs and he nodded his head, "Best look away, we got, maybe three more.." he said to the man... as he would try to start towards the upstairs.
[12:29] Cypriana Vanya Tamalyn was midspell, so she wouldn't be able to give Padishar a parting word, however the nurse who had worked on him fussed about after him. She'd follow him, trying to grab at him to get him to come back to rest, her words hardly more than a whisper, "You need to settle.." Seeing it was fruitless, and then spying the bodies and knowing the lurch of nausea all too well, she scuttled back into the back room once more. Cypriana continued her song, slowly opening her lids, revealing a bright glow to her normally soft ghostly hues. Each tendril of magic seemed to dance through the air in rhythm to the song, dragging itself around the width of the serpentine male. Eventually they would blanket him in a comforting warmth, pulsing to the song as it were sung, then constricting. Tighter and tighter they'd pull, until they seemed to seep into the flesh of the patient, drawing together wounded flesh, any effected tissue from tendon to muscle and more. Within the span of several moments they'd mend
then dash out of Bu's body and dissipate in the air once Cypriana's song gave way to silence in the room. Walking closer to the snakeman, she would examine him, "and how do you feel.." expecting him to be feeling somewhat exhausted, but who knows with the happy, lazy snake.
[12:33] Padishar Ishtari hurries out of the room a lil faster than the poor nurse, maybe thanks to his shortcut. But he had to see the bodies... Cy could likely feel the growing worry on his emotions. Not that he really truly cared for the feline lady, but she and he had an understanding and he totally would have peeled zombies off of her if he could have had the chance. When he gets out to the main area he looks to Vincent, "Let me see them." speaking lightly, "You found them in the square, right? I need to see if I know anyone who's dead..." he barely got a chance to see more than just Tiri, to be fair. Tiri, zombie, snaaaake... And lightning and ice and then black. Was a great night.
[12:40] Bu'zyasti'in refocused on Cy as her spellcasting continued, intrigued as ever by the presence of magic unfamiliar to him - thus, the proceedings in the other room went completely ignored for this short period of time as he focused. The slightly lopsided grin took on a distracted hint as the tendrils of magic wrapped up and around his body, then began to constrict before eventually sinking straight through his flesh and knitting together his wounds, sending a strange itchy feeling all across his flesh and scales. When silence returned, he exhaled a soft breath and fought his way through the sudden burst of weariness that came over him to offer, "Ah feel like Ah'm back in me prime, lass. Thank ye kindly. Cor, 'ealin' magic be right braw useful in th' right 'ands."
[12:43] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) looked back at Padishar, and nodded, "They are upstairs in the back room, there are, eight, nine in total." between lots of undead, and who knew maybe a murder victim they all looked the same, once dead, well not all the same, but never the less he furrowed his brows, "I hope that if you know anything, you'll make your way to the guards to give a statement." He said to the man as the elemental came down to get another body as he finished with his laying it out in the back room and going to get the last one. The goings on in the other room ignored for the moments being while he tended to the dead as respectfully as he could.
[12:49] Cypriana Vanya Tamalyn was slightly warry herself, however it couldn't be figured if it were more the healing she dispensed or the feelings she was forced to swallow. So many people. So many feels. Hilde waded through the bodies, shoving intestines back into open wounds, making god awful grunts as she did, "ughgahd yano. I think i be askin' for more coin afer this." Picking up body parts and trying to match them, snorting, "What if we fixed em up all wrong, not like they ganna know.." mostly she was talking to the dead bodies right now, but her voiced carried more than she knew. Another nurse was moving around the back room, tending to the wounded in beds, from Gerald to the pretty white haired lady - just assureing that they weren't going to die any time soon. Cyrpriana cast her sights up to Bu's, "You should still rest, even if your wounds are mended, your body will need time to adjust to the healing.." pointing towards a bed, "You could rest here, if you please. And we can fetch you something to eat an
have you relax.." her sights dipping to his tail for a moment, "we have a bath as well, should you need water." What was happening in the front could be heard, thanks to her keen hearing, but she wasn't ready to deal with the emotions of dead folk and someone trying to rummage through them, just yet.
[12:51] Padishar Ishtari watches the elemental grab the next body and start hauling it up. His guts wrenched a bit and he frowns deeply. Inhaling a little and looking to Vincent, "I'll be by the keep tonight anyways... I need to speak with Abassi.." he winces and curses something unpleasant under his breath, moving towards the door to leave the building, tossing the coinpurse he was going to pay Cy with onto her desk. She deserved a tip for her patience at least. For now, it was booze time. "Thanks." he says flatly to Vincent and off he goes, wincing a little as he works the door and the rush of energy he used to get over the bed and out front was spent so he just hobbles his way towards the magic shop and the nearest place to down some drink and sleep it off.
[12:55] Ella 'Armisael' Moraeu had been brought to the infirmary by Gerald, though she had no idea where or what she was doing, the sleeping draught and herbs and stuff that kept her alive wearing off as she wakes up to -excruciating- pain. The bruises on her face and stuff were healing faster than normal, Blessed Healing was a good thing to have. She groans loudly as she tries to sit up and only manages to half do so effectively as the gash from the bloody snakeman's axe hurt like hell. It was stitched by one of the infirmary people, and it felt like it would rip open any minute. Ella blinks and looks around seeing the naga that had put her in this state and the healer lady, she just shakes her head and groans loudly "This cannot be happening!!", eyes look around at the umpteen wounded including Gerald and all. And she just lays back down all dejected like, realizing yesterday had been for real.
[13:00] Bu'zyasti'in 's brow furrowed slightly in concern, inspecting the redheaded elf very carefully for a few moments before he asked, "Ye alright, lass?" The gesture towards one of the beds drew another deep, rumbling chuckle from the huge serpent before he replied, "Ach...Ah think Ah'll jest take a spot on th' floor, if'n ye dinnae mind. Ah'm like ta break th' bed if'n Ah try ta get meself on it. Nae need ta feed me, Ah dinnae need ta eat." Literally, he /never/ needed to eat...but that much could go unsaid. "Ah should be jest fine takin' a wee nap, th' water can wait fer me." Just as he turned to try and find somewhere out of the way to coil up, he recognized a voice from the bed near to the wall. Glancing over, his broad grin returned as he cheerfully rumbled, "Ach, Ah was 'opin' ye dragged yerself outta there, lass. Yer a brave one, if'n Ah dae say sae meself. Cor, dinnae be tae many who'd stick around fer a losin' battle."
[13:02] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he nodded his head, "If no one is around write out a statement on a piece of parchment and leave it noted to myself, Sergeant Vincent Keene." He said softly to the man letting him leave afterwards and finishing carting the dead bodies up the stairs shaking his head at the woman stuffing guts back in and talking to the dead. "Last one." He said to the woman and sighed a little As the scream came from down stairs he rose a brow as he descended the case and got to the bottom rubbing his forehead a little smelling of death and decay., Also looking like he had just rolled around a soup of blood and gore.
[13:10] Cypriana Vanya Tamalyn waved a hand dismissively, "I will be fine, I am always fine." and it was true, she worked hard at always being fine, at least for everyone else to see. Dragging her arm towards the doorway, "If you wish to find a place that is out of the way, the room upstairs has much more space for you. Provided you stay away from the corpses, I think it could be a pleasant place to rest." Upstairs held the classroom, her office, and herbal prep area, but it had large expanses of floor for him to lay upon. Hearing the woman call out, her head jerked over to her direction. Parting from Bu, "Will you excuse me..." knowing that he might run into Hilde upstairs, "should you need anything, Hilde can assist you.." Making it to the bedside of the pale haired woman, accompanied by a tall, lanky male nurse who stuttuered out, "I..I..It will...b..b..be ok..k..kkkay.." Cypriana would look at the woman, giving a nod of affirmation to the words of the stuttering nurse, "Clemmons is correct, it will be okay. I
f you are experiencing any discomfort, do allow us to do our job and tend to it?" Grasping for her crystal necklace, "I did not wish to use magic before I got your consent. Considering the nature of your wounds, they are mended for now, I could use herbal remedies to ease your pain and hasten healing - but it is your decision the method I employ." Hearing Bu she fowned, had he hurt everyone in town. It would remain a thought not voiced, looking over at him to see if he was going to wander up stairs or not.
[13:12] Eileithyia pushed the door to the infirmary open, humming to herself but not so much looking happy or angry. Void of anything is more like it. She paused and looked around, a pungent odor hitting her nose, which promptly wrinkled up. "Oh! Smelly human!" she squeaked out before trying to dash past him to get away from that odor. She didn't mean it to be insulting, it was just how she distinguished people she didn't know. Sort of like naming them. She made it to the doorway and saw the redhead and the naga, and the woman she'd help bring in the night before. "Oh! Land lady wakes! Good stupid human will be happy! Yes! He tries dragging land lady by clothing, but this one makes him fix that. Yes, not to hurt land lady more! This one could not heal more, many apologize...but all good now?" Her eyes would cast to the naga and the red head as if looking for an answer. Honestly, she couldn't explain why she'd come to see if the two from the night before were still alive, but once she got involved in something, ap
apparently she needed to see it through.
[13:15] Ella 'Armisael' Moraeu sits up with a -great- struggle as she clutched at her chest and narrowed her eyes at the snakeman. "Why?", she spat out in anger, but controlled herself and closed her eyes, cuz, for one, pain, and also.. she wished to get out of the infirmary alive. Unable to understand why he was being treated despite the fact that him and his kin were the cause of so much death and despair, if it were up to her she would scream out and attract attention to the naga that had such a huge hand in the massacre, but then again, medicinal herbs, sleeping draughts and what not, leave her muddled and she grits her teeth as she hissed at a snake "You... don't... say a word... so many innocents you and your kin killed... Why??", too weak to actually move, she just falls back onto the bed, doubling over in pain as the healer approached with the nurse "It will I know... I am healing.. I can feel it... but I will accept anything you feel is best...", she speaks amid much effort and then looks at Eileithiya "You... you brought me here??"
[13:21] Bu'zyasti'in shot his tongue out over his lips, then immediately regretted doing so, getting a full blast of the rotting odors from poor Vincent's clothing straight to his taste buds. His nose wrinkled in distaste, and he chose to keep his mouth firmly shut as he nodded his understanding to Cy's instructions, then turned slightly to face the door - still, he wanted to wait around and see what the white haired woman had to say. It fed his ego, after all - last night had been one big ego-boost for him. Rather suddenly though, his attention was torn from Ella by the approach of a rather talky pink-haired....mer? Maybe? He blinked, then flashed an experimental grin and rumbled, "Ah've got nae idea what yer talkin' about, wee lass." Helpful as always, apparently. Ella's voice drew his gaze back in her direction, one which exhibited no small amount of sincere surprise in regard to her anger. "Why? Fer me or fer them? Sommat about revenge, if'n Ah'm nae mistaken. Bleedin' guid brawl though, bleedin' guid brawl,"
in a friendly fashion, as if chatting over the quality of drink at the tavern. "Ach, everyone dies sometime, lass. Some sooner n' others, n' nae everyone 'as a chance ta die in glorious battle, ye ken? Cannae say Ah agree with 'idin' behind some dead folk ta do yer fightin' fer ye, but it be what it be." He paused, then loosed another deep chuckle and continued, "Ye nailed me braw with yer wee fireball, burnt me favorite eyepatch up. Ye dinnae see me gettin' all emotional, dae ye?"
[13:24] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) did he just get called smelly... well... he was, after all, he had just dealt with the bodies from last night and he sighed a little as he shifted away and out the door quietly if allowed, he wanted a bath, and to be rid of this stench and possibly burn the armor with it.... that sounded fantastic, just be rid of the armor Then cause the door was opened he heard something that was.... useful! and he turned to look at the naga his brows furrowed what was that about innocents being killed and he'd take a description of the man-snake into his mind for his report for later, some one to find, maybe even charge, but here was not the place for confrontation, one must respect the healers code of ethics, and as such he'd slide from the door.
~~~~~~ At the Infirmary~~~~~~
[11:43] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he sighed softly as he moved into the infirmary covered in bits of other people, and would reach a bloodied hand out to ring the bell, yep, if he had his wings out he'd be a regular grim reaper, but he was just doing his job and so he would pace around, Nuria waited outside with the cart of dead bodies needing formal inspection by some one qualified to give cause of death... and as such he would pace a bit waiting to see what would come of his 'gift' to the infirmary
11:45] Cypriana Vanya Tamalyn rolled her shoulders slowly, even if his emotions weren't overwhelming, the upset that Padishar felt was potent enough to creep up her spine and agitate the crimson haired elf. Slipping fingers over the gash marks that lined Bu's body, shaking her head softly, "If there were only a few of these, I'd offer you an herbal remedy and suggest rest. However, considering your size.." glancing down at his tail, "and how your appendage moves, I think you'd just reopen them time and time again." Placing her hands together, in front of her waist, "Do you mind magical healing.." It was always her practice to ask, of course, considering some had an aversion to such things. Assuring him, "I hurry nothing, that is the way of humans, not elves. My life may not be as long as yours, but I prefer not to waste my time rushing through it." Hearing the exchange between the boys she would swipe one hand through the air quickly, "Whatever transpired outside of these walls shall remain outside of these walls. Bickering about it, or planning other bouts of violence can be done on your own time in your own dwellings. Not mine." her tone was sharp, and carried the weight of her authority in the moment, "Negetivity is not welcome here." As if it was as easy as turning a light switch on and off, she resumed her pleasant demeanor, glancing to how the nurse massages Padishar's bruises with the balm, "It seems that Singradel is almost done with your application, Padishar. Will you want to bring some of the balm away with you?" Hilde answered the ringading of the bell, "ugh god man, what you bring us dere.." grabbing her nose with forefinger and thumb, "Dead bodies go uppastairs in da back back room dere. " Opening the door, and thudding around to the steps, "up ere..".
[11:56] Padishar Ishtari blinked a bit at Cy's outburst for them talking about round two. And just looked over Bu, "I don't want to fight you lot again... Not like that." he grumps. Looking to the nurse and then to Cy, "I'll be fine without it... I can pay you for your time, though. I have coin." he carefully fishes out the smallish coinpurse he had in his pocket. "I think Meri wishes to speak with you when you have a chance... The herbs and rubs and... whatever else is in this stuff will help soon enough, I'm sure. Right now I'm thinking I may want a stiff drink and a nap." he scoots a little once the nurse is finished and gives Bu a look, "Summoning up a bunch of zombies in the square to attack the locals isn't any way to promote longevity of your people. Respect and all would be had... but I for one won't be trusting any fish anytime soon." he tries to stand up. "What happened to the woman with the bow? She was standing there next to me." he asks Bu pointedly. He meant poor Tiri.
[12:02] Bu'zyasti'in chuckled in a good-natured manner and held still as Cy inspected his wounds and rumbled, "Ah've nae problem with magical healin', lass. Ah'm nae expert, if'n ye think that be best, ye can go ahead." The serpent's eyebrows rose slightly at the sudden sharp comment from the elven woman, to which he replied, "Ah though Ah was givin' th' lad a compliment, but if'n that be yer wish, Ah'll 'old me tongue." At this point, he was only vaguely aware of the ringing bell and Hilde's assistance given to the male in the entrance, mostly because self-centered snake was self-centered. Turning slightly, he affixed his eyes to Padi as he spoke up, then flashed a broad grin, "Lad, that's th' same as what /Ah/ was sayin', ye ken? Next time, Ah dinnae want th' rest o' th' lot ta step in 'n ruin me fun." This was followed by a broad shrug, and a continuation of, "Ah'm nae tryin' ta promote anythin' laddie, 'n Ah cannae say Ah'm tae worried about 'ow we be seen. Ah 'ad me fun." The huge serpent blinked - notably good eye, as his blinded one had such heavy scarring around it that it never quite shut entirely. "Cannae say, ta be truthsome lad. Ah lose me 'ead a bit when Ah get all guid n' riled, dinnae see tae much o' me surroundins' aside from what Ah'm hittin'." Yup, he was one of those tunnel-vision berserker types.
[12:05] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he furrowed his brows a bit at the woman, "Bodies from what looks like a very vicious attack last night, most are either half bodies or have been partially consumed, I'd like who ever examins them to determine what ate them, or the cause of death if they arent all, you know, caused from bleeding out or massive injury." he said towards the woman, "And send the reports to the guard house." This happened in Aberwyth territory, and wasnt going to go unanswered to. But there was more then one body, so he'd have to make multiple trips up the stairs with his Elemental Companion hucking bodies with him. SADLY he couldnt overhear Padi's conversation as he's busy hefting bodies for Cy to play with later up the stairs and into the back room... OR he may have had to take some sorta action. It wasnt like people reported these things to the proper authorities anyway.... He huffed a little exhausted after the third body had been unloaded from the cart, huffing and puffing exhaustively cause, lets be honest, bodies...
where heavy.... and so was the scent of blood.
[12:11] Cypriana Vanya Tamalyn gave Padishar a look, she didn't appreciate him carrying on after she had insisted talk of it end. The refusal of the remedy was met with indifference, though her tone was pleasant as she replied, "We do not charge for healing. If you were to buy a remedy we charge, but healing is our duty. If not all can pay, none shall have to pay.." Dipping her head in acknowledgment, " Of course, Meri is welcome to come by at any time. I have missed the blush of her kind visage." When Padishar continued she felt her body tense slightly, and her feet dance around underneath the pool of her long dresses hem. Worry tugged at her, but she'd swallow the emotion as best she could, recognizing it were not her own to contend with. Then the serpent had to chime in as well, closing her eyes she collected herself, allowing a number of thoughts about men no matter their race will be men and how exhausting it was. Hilde's heavy foot falls could be heard thudding around over head, and her loud voice echoes th
e whole building, "Well ain't that a sin an a shame there.. all dem bodies.." her fat litte fingers poking towards them, counting, "some o dese look like they been dead fer awhile.. and why they all in pieces.." scrunching her face, moving toward one piece and picking it up, "dis part o' a head?" then dropping it, "woops, too slickery wit blood.." Cypriana tried to ignore the rake of Hilde's voice and look up to Bu, "Then I shall begin.." Removing the crystal that hung around her neck, and holding it between her palms. Lidding her eyes she would start to sing a gentle elven song, drawing her magic forward. Slowly her hands would begin to glow, the glow slowly freying off in small white tendrils, that seemed to seek Bu's body.
[12:14] Padishar Ishtari smelled the blood and had enough time spent around corpses to know the scent of fresh-ish bodies. He had made it to stand and still felt rather sore, but the distraction got his attention the moment Bu made it clear he didn't have answers. Glancing to Cy and then back to Bu, "I need to go look.. I'm sorry." he was just worried now, if what he smelled and part of what he heard (the dwarf mostly) was any indication, his answers were right in the other room. He moves up and over the bed, stepping once on the cushion and stepping down the other side. He hurt, but forced himself to move anyways. Remorseless snake was just going to get him riled up and Cy would probably throw him out if he stuck around.
[12:20] Bu'zyasti'in was completely and utterly oblivious to Cy's disapproval, unfortunately, far too caught up in his own fantastic mood to be anything even close to sensitive. An eyebrow arched when finally he became aware of Hilde's conversation with Vincent coming from the other room, though for the time being he didn't comment. While he certainly had no moral problem with eating people, he tended not to do it where battles were concerned. Something about being an old warrior gave him at least a little respect for fallen enemies. Hearing Cy's statement he gave a short nod, then held still again, only moving his eyes to follow Padi's progress out of the room.
[12:22] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he looked to Hilde and nodded his head with a sigh, "I dont quite know, I spent my time guarding the Manor house of the Lady Last night, But I agree, some of them do, I just like to have my reports be thorough for further investigations." he said as he went down to grab more bodies. He then looked towards Padi as he walked out of the back room, a body hucked over his shoulder, as his elemental went up the stairs and he nodded his head, "Best look away, we got, maybe three more.." he said to the man... as he would try to start towards the upstairs.
[12:29] Cypriana Vanya Tamalyn was midspell, so she wouldn't be able to give Padishar a parting word, however the nurse who had worked on him fussed about after him. She'd follow him, trying to grab at him to get him to come back to rest, her words hardly more than a whisper, "You need to settle.." Seeing it was fruitless, and then spying the bodies and knowing the lurch of nausea all too well, she scuttled back into the back room once more. Cypriana continued her song, slowly opening her lids, revealing a bright glow to her normally soft ghostly hues. Each tendril of magic seemed to dance through the air in rhythm to the song, dragging itself around the width of the serpentine male. Eventually they would blanket him in a comforting warmth, pulsing to the song as it were sung, then constricting. Tighter and tighter they'd pull, until they seemed to seep into the flesh of the patient, drawing together wounded flesh, any effected tissue from tendon to muscle and more. Within the span of several moments they'd mend
then dash out of Bu's body and dissipate in the air once Cypriana's song gave way to silence in the room. Walking closer to the snakeman, she would examine him, "and how do you feel.." expecting him to be feeling somewhat exhausted, but who knows with the happy, lazy snake.
[12:33] Padishar Ishtari hurries out of the room a lil faster than the poor nurse, maybe thanks to his shortcut. But he had to see the bodies... Cy could likely feel the growing worry on his emotions. Not that he really truly cared for the feline lady, but she and he had an understanding and he totally would have peeled zombies off of her if he could have had the chance. When he gets out to the main area he looks to Vincent, "Let me see them." speaking lightly, "You found them in the square, right? I need to see if I know anyone who's dead..." he barely got a chance to see more than just Tiri, to be fair. Tiri, zombie, snaaaake... And lightning and ice and then black. Was a great night.
[12:40] Bu'zyasti'in refocused on Cy as her spellcasting continued, intrigued as ever by the presence of magic unfamiliar to him - thus, the proceedings in the other room went completely ignored for this short period of time as he focused. The slightly lopsided grin took on a distracted hint as the tendrils of magic wrapped up and around his body, then began to constrict before eventually sinking straight through his flesh and knitting together his wounds, sending a strange itchy feeling all across his flesh and scales. When silence returned, he exhaled a soft breath and fought his way through the sudden burst of weariness that came over him to offer, "Ah feel like Ah'm back in me prime, lass. Thank ye kindly. Cor, 'ealin' magic be right braw useful in th' right 'ands."
[12:43] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) looked back at Padishar, and nodded, "They are upstairs in the back room, there are, eight, nine in total." between lots of undead, and who knew maybe a murder victim they all looked the same, once dead, well not all the same, but never the less he furrowed his brows, "I hope that if you know anything, you'll make your way to the guards to give a statement." He said to the man as the elemental came down to get another body as he finished with his laying it out in the back room and going to get the last one. The goings on in the other room ignored for the moments being while he tended to the dead as respectfully as he could.
[12:49] Cypriana Vanya Tamalyn was slightly warry herself, however it couldn't be figured if it were more the healing she dispensed or the feelings she was forced to swallow. So many people. So many feels. Hilde waded through the bodies, shoving intestines back into open wounds, making god awful grunts as she did, "ughgahd yano. I think i be askin' for more coin afer this." Picking up body parts and trying to match them, snorting, "What if we fixed em up all wrong, not like they ganna know.." mostly she was talking to the dead bodies right now, but her voiced carried more than she knew. Another nurse was moving around the back room, tending to the wounded in beds, from Gerald to the pretty white haired lady - just assureing that they weren't going to die any time soon. Cyrpriana cast her sights up to Bu's, "You should still rest, even if your wounds are mended, your body will need time to adjust to the healing.." pointing towards a bed, "You could rest here, if you please. And we can fetch you something to eat an
have you relax.." her sights dipping to his tail for a moment, "we have a bath as well, should you need water." What was happening in the front could be heard, thanks to her keen hearing, but she wasn't ready to deal with the emotions of dead folk and someone trying to rummage through them, just yet.
[12:51] Padishar Ishtari watches the elemental grab the next body and start hauling it up. His guts wrenched a bit and he frowns deeply. Inhaling a little and looking to Vincent, "I'll be by the keep tonight anyways... I need to speak with Abassi.." he winces and curses something unpleasant under his breath, moving towards the door to leave the building, tossing the coinpurse he was going to pay Cy with onto her desk. She deserved a tip for her patience at least. For now, it was booze time. "Thanks." he says flatly to Vincent and off he goes, wincing a little as he works the door and the rush of energy he used to get over the bed and out front was spent so he just hobbles his way towards the magic shop and the nearest place to down some drink and sleep it off.
[12:55] Ella 'Armisael' Moraeu had been brought to the infirmary by Gerald, though she had no idea where or what she was doing, the sleeping draught and herbs and stuff that kept her alive wearing off as she wakes up to -excruciating- pain. The bruises on her face and stuff were healing faster than normal, Blessed Healing was a good thing to have. She groans loudly as she tries to sit up and only manages to half do so effectively as the gash from the bloody snakeman's axe hurt like hell. It was stitched by one of the infirmary people, and it felt like it would rip open any minute. Ella blinks and looks around seeing the naga that had put her in this state and the healer lady, she just shakes her head and groans loudly "This cannot be happening!!", eyes look around at the umpteen wounded including Gerald and all. And she just lays back down all dejected like, realizing yesterday had been for real.
[13:00] Bu'zyasti'in 's brow furrowed slightly in concern, inspecting the redheaded elf very carefully for a few moments before he asked, "Ye alright, lass?" The gesture towards one of the beds drew another deep, rumbling chuckle from the huge serpent before he replied, "Ach...Ah think Ah'll jest take a spot on th' floor, if'n ye dinnae mind. Ah'm like ta break th' bed if'n Ah try ta get meself on it. Nae need ta feed me, Ah dinnae need ta eat." Literally, he /never/ needed to eat...but that much could go unsaid. "Ah should be jest fine takin' a wee nap, th' water can wait fer me." Just as he turned to try and find somewhere out of the way to coil up, he recognized a voice from the bed near to the wall. Glancing over, his broad grin returned as he cheerfully rumbled, "Ach, Ah was 'opin' ye dragged yerself outta there, lass. Yer a brave one, if'n Ah dae say sae meself. Cor, dinnae be tae many who'd stick around fer a losin' battle."
[13:02] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) he nodded his head, "If no one is around write out a statement on a piece of parchment and leave it noted to myself, Sergeant Vincent Keene." He said softly to the man letting him leave afterwards and finishing carting the dead bodies up the stairs shaking his head at the woman stuffing guts back in and talking to the dead. "Last one." He said to the woman and sighed a little As the scream came from down stairs he rose a brow as he descended the case and got to the bottom rubbing his forehead a little smelling of death and decay., Also looking like he had just rolled around a soup of blood and gore.
[13:10] Cypriana Vanya Tamalyn waved a hand dismissively, "I will be fine, I am always fine." and it was true, she worked hard at always being fine, at least for everyone else to see. Dragging her arm towards the doorway, "If you wish to find a place that is out of the way, the room upstairs has much more space for you. Provided you stay away from the corpses, I think it could be a pleasant place to rest." Upstairs held the classroom, her office, and herbal prep area, but it had large expanses of floor for him to lay upon. Hearing the woman call out, her head jerked over to her direction. Parting from Bu, "Will you excuse me..." knowing that he might run into Hilde upstairs, "should you need anything, Hilde can assist you.." Making it to the bedside of the pale haired woman, accompanied by a tall, lanky male nurse who stuttuered out, "I..I..It will...b..b..be ok..k..kkkay.." Cypriana would look at the woman, giving a nod of affirmation to the words of the stuttering nurse, "Clemmons is correct, it will be okay. I
f you are experiencing any discomfort, do allow us to do our job and tend to it?" Grasping for her crystal necklace, "I did not wish to use magic before I got your consent. Considering the nature of your wounds, they are mended for now, I could use herbal remedies to ease your pain and hasten healing - but it is your decision the method I employ." Hearing Bu she fowned, had he hurt everyone in town. It would remain a thought not voiced, looking over at him to see if he was going to wander up stairs or not.
[13:12] Eileithyia pushed the door to the infirmary open, humming to herself but not so much looking happy or angry. Void of anything is more like it. She paused and looked around, a pungent odor hitting her nose, which promptly wrinkled up. "Oh! Smelly human!" she squeaked out before trying to dash past him to get away from that odor. She didn't mean it to be insulting, it was just how she distinguished people she didn't know. Sort of like naming them. She made it to the doorway and saw the redhead and the naga, and the woman she'd help bring in the night before. "Oh! Land lady wakes! Good stupid human will be happy! Yes! He tries dragging land lady by clothing, but this one makes him fix that. Yes, not to hurt land lady more! This one could not heal more, many apologize...but all good now?" Her eyes would cast to the naga and the red head as if looking for an answer. Honestly, she couldn't explain why she'd come to see if the two from the night before were still alive, but once she got involved in something, ap
apparently she needed to see it through.
[13:15] Ella 'Armisael' Moraeu sits up with a -great- struggle as she clutched at her chest and narrowed her eyes at the snakeman. "Why?", she spat out in anger, but controlled herself and closed her eyes, cuz, for one, pain, and also.. she wished to get out of the infirmary alive. Unable to understand why he was being treated despite the fact that him and his kin were the cause of so much death and despair, if it were up to her she would scream out and attract attention to the naga that had such a huge hand in the massacre, but then again, medicinal herbs, sleeping draughts and what not, leave her muddled and she grits her teeth as she hissed at a snake "You... don't... say a word... so many innocents you and your kin killed... Why??", too weak to actually move, she just falls back onto the bed, doubling over in pain as the healer approached with the nurse "It will I know... I am healing.. I can feel it... but I will accept anything you feel is best...", she speaks amid much effort and then looks at Eileithiya "You... you brought me here??"
[13:21] Bu'zyasti'in shot his tongue out over his lips, then immediately regretted doing so, getting a full blast of the rotting odors from poor Vincent's clothing straight to his taste buds. His nose wrinkled in distaste, and he chose to keep his mouth firmly shut as he nodded his understanding to Cy's instructions, then turned slightly to face the door - still, he wanted to wait around and see what the white haired woman had to say. It fed his ego, after all - last night had been one big ego-boost for him. Rather suddenly though, his attention was torn from Ella by the approach of a rather talky pink-haired....mer? Maybe? He blinked, then flashed an experimental grin and rumbled, "Ah've got nae idea what yer talkin' about, wee lass." Helpful as always, apparently. Ella's voice drew his gaze back in her direction, one which exhibited no small amount of sincere surprise in regard to her anger. "Why? Fer me or fer them? Sommat about revenge, if'n Ah'm nae mistaken. Bleedin' guid brawl though, bleedin' guid brawl,"
in a friendly fashion, as if chatting over the quality of drink at the tavern. "Ach, everyone dies sometime, lass. Some sooner n' others, n' nae everyone 'as a chance ta die in glorious battle, ye ken? Cannae say Ah agree with 'idin' behind some dead folk ta do yer fightin' fer ye, but it be what it be." He paused, then loosed another deep chuckle and continued, "Ye nailed me braw with yer wee fireball, burnt me favorite eyepatch up. Ye dinnae see me gettin' all emotional, dae ye?"
[13:24] Vincent Keene (vincent3342) did he just get called smelly... well... he was, after all, he had just dealt with the bodies from last night and he sighed a little as he shifted away and out the door quietly if allowed, he wanted a bath, and to be rid of this stench and possibly burn the armor with it.... that sounded fantastic, just be rid of the armor Then cause the door was opened he heard something that was.... useful! and he turned to look at the naga his brows furrowed what was that about innocents being killed and he'd take a description of the man-snake into his mind for his report for later, some one to find, maybe even charge, but here was not the place for confrontation, one must respect the healers code of ethics, and as such he'd slide from the door.
