((Pond cant read or write, so it draws. It can't draw well, so it hides it's book. Pond's book is not a book, it is loose parchment bound together by mud and poorly done sewn string. Pond wants to be an artist but has no actual talent, nor does parchment, canvas, ink, hold up well under soggy hands.
