Freel free to use this information in your roleplay when interacting with the harbor master or the harbor crew. Everything written here you may use in your roleplay without having to fear that you are metagaming!
Some info about the Harbor Master:
Ashes the Tiefling had been one of the cronies of the previous harbor master. After the departure of that harbor master, Ashes took over by brute force and intimidation. She basically bullied everyone into voting for her, those that opposed her she had some of their fingers removed, some of their limbs broken and in some cases ... silenced.
No one could ever find enough proof to officially charge her for any of those ruthless crimes.
Ashes is a Neutral Evil character and will react as such in any given (hostile) situation.
She has taken bullying to a whole new level once becoming harbor master.
Some info about the Harbor:
It's a crime infested place, there is violence, crime, drug and alcohol use and prostitutes ((who abide to the NO public sex rule!))
And the harbor master does nothing to temper any of it. If anything she even encourages it.
It's not a place you want to go if you are an upstanding citizen. Lots of bad things can happen to you and do happen every day. Crime in Lower Aberwyth doesn't have the same meaning as it does in Middle and Upper Aberwyth. In Lower Aberwyth it's a way of life.
Here live the thugs, the lowlives, the malcontents and the criminals.
Yet the harbor is the only way for the rest of Aberwyth to get their overseas supplies ...
Being in a position of disagreement with the harbor holds the potential to put a merchant out of business.
There is also the case of the Lower Aberwyth Regent, ((played by Den Mother)) who is more or less the matron of Lower Aberwyth and has close ties to the Harbor and it's master.
And it's been known for the Regent and the Harbor Master to have private and closed meetings. If the Harbor Master fears anyone in Aberwyth, then the Regent would probably be the first person on that list.

Complaints against the violent nature of the roleplay in the Harbor will fall on deaf mans ears. The charter, these messages, my profile disclaimer are all warning you for that. If you don't want that kind of roleplay, Valesk is A LOT bigger than the harbor and I'm convinced it has room for both of us.
All roleplay in the Harbor will follow sim regulations, included but not limited to public nudity to public erotic scenes. While an adult rated sim, there are plenty of sims on SL for you to get your virtual rocks off and public sex is NOT allowed, please keep it to IM. We are story driven in our roleplay. We encourage any kind of vile characters but keep it PG in your active roleplay ...please?
This is meant to be fun. Fun for people who are looking to play rowdier or rougher characters. If that's not your roleplay flavor, then just don't participate. It's really that simple.
