I wanted to know if there was a specific description of a shadeling in relation to Valesk. Or could one be given? There has been mention of the shadelings and the creeping darkness, but however there are few descriptions on the web (that I can find at least). The common one is related to WOW, but there are other differing descriptions for other games. I of course have my idea, in my imagination but I wanted to check that there was some alignment to the sim plot going on at the moment. Thank you!

As far as Valesk goes, Shadelings are uniquely... terrifying. Not many exist that can -accurately- describe them or even if they do, accounts vary. Asking around the few characters that ran into them, and lived to tell the tale may give you somewhat of an insight As for the creeping darkness, it should be notable that the sky remains without stars, and woodland critters and their sounds are definitely missing. With respect to some magic, like those that Skyreaders have, and Naturalism based spells, these will have some effects that should be RPd accordingly.

From what I understand, shadelings in valesk are quite their own beast. And meant to be discovered IC for any details not readily found on our site or forums. Sorry we cannot answer more!

Okay thank you for that, I hadn't realised before that the Shadelings weren't in fact a being that would not be known of by the general, although Crystiel did explain that to me after I had made this post. I had also had some confusion over the creeping darkness too, in relation to my character who likes the dark...perhaps being overly-welcoming to it. O.o Thank you for the clarifying

Ive seen them RPed a few times. best way to describe them are as "Old ones" in the Cthulhu Mythos. Black Ooze, tentacles, madness, corruption, Oblivion...each one different then the last. each one seeming to have its own power...but all just want to kill anything alive...I once saw a bunny explode right in front of me..poor bunny You would have to be worse than evil to kill a bunny like that.
