[16:09] Emmaline Anundr Aldin tells, Nadora. "Keep the gown, Nadora. It was so beautiful on you, and I can't imagine anyone else ever wearing it but you." She'd been the bell of the ball! Turned to Myst when he made his claim to the name, and she smiled. It fit him perfectly. When Jamison came through the gates, Emma waved and called him over. "Vedui, Jamison Blackwater. It is good to see you. How does the enchanting come along?"

[16:10] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) climbs out of the small burrow he had dug from himself and shook off the dirt and looked around. he smiled and nodded to those there "vendui Tari,Malantur, sires.. and matrons"

[16:11] Jamison Blackwater (Wild Cote) had been wandering thorugh the autumn woods when a familiar, welcome voice caught his ears. Glancing up, he grinned and reached into his pocket as he pulled out a ring and tossed it up in the air. As he did so, it suddenly hovered in midair, slowly rotating as he drifted it towards her and commented, "Well, if you're interested, I've got a puzzle for you that Meri and I are working on, involving that little bit of jewelry."

[16:11] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) unexpectedly crash lands into a group of people, almost landing straight on the Tari. Bowing elegantly, though laughing on the inside, she says, "Vedui, Tari Emmaline! Tis good to see you today!"

[16:13] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) blushes a little at the Tari's praise and bows her head to her. "Thank you so much, Highness, that is very generous of you."She tilts her head slightly at Eph's squeek and comes a little closer. "Are you well Eph?" She would smile again at Mystogan. "It is good to see you again as well, Mystogan." She let her fingers trail along Gethin's feathers as he caws softly at her. She wondered if Myst had spoken to anyone regarding their conversation a few days ago.

[16:14] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) glances over to Rizzo and says, impressed, "greetings and excellent manners, Rizzo! " and laughs to Aurelia, "Gracious! Vedui, Aurelia!" and belatedly greets Jamison, "Greetings to you, Jamison! That reminds me of an errand. Pardon me, one and all! Duty calls! Namaarie!" Eph starts jogging off toward the non-Vale portions of the storied Isle of Valesk. As she leaves, receding into the distance, a chipmunk appears on her shoulder and regards with a bright, beady eye the mixed company of elves and elf-friends.

[16:20] Emmaline Anundr AldinEmmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) deftly caught the ring, thought to be fair, it WAS floating. "I will be happy to help." Light! She hoped she would be able help at least a little. She grinned and sort of hopped out of the way when Aurelia joined them. "Ah! Vedui, Aurelia! Good to see you, Cousin." Emma, too, was proud of Rizzo's greeting. Emma liked the Kobold. Period. She called out to Eph as she left for points unknown, "Be safe, Ephralia!"

[16:24] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) is a bit startled when a flying elf crash lands close to matron Nadora ny crouches low warily... he waves bye to the retreating Eph as she runs off nods politly to matron nadora. but scampers over near the Tari and her guards and stands bveside them

[16:24] Jamison Blackwater (Wild Cote)chuckled gently as he glanced down at the ring in the Tari's palm. "Right, then if I were you, I'd avoid putting that ring on. See, what I created there is a ring of anti-magic. The problem is that I can no longer do anything else with it. The ring rejects all further attempts to enchant it, and I can't even disenchant it because that requires magic as well. But in future works, I might not have the option of breaking it down and starting over, particularly if it's an elaborate and expensive piece of jewelry. Get the gist of the problem?" he added with a grin.

[16:26] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) bows slightly and looks at the assembled company with dancing eyes. Eph had somehow jumped out of the way before she could even say hello to the energetic Malantur, and she knew most everyone present, though a few are new to her. She sees she has frightened one of them, and, awwww!! "Vedui, Cousins and friends. I am most sorry for frightening anyone!! I do hope I did not interrupt. " She smiles apologetically, reassuring the new faces she is a friendly sort.

[16:29] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) simply remains quiet, watching and listening everyone about the area, but his primary focus was the Tari, her safety was prime concern, but it would seem everyone was friends here

[16:31] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) smiles at the elf who crash landed and Gethin flies over toward her. Landing in front of her, the falcon would look up at the winged elf and shriek lightly before strutting back and forth in front of her, showing off. She laughs softly as the bird ruffled his feathers and puffed out his chest trying to show what a pretty bird he is. She grins at Aurelia. "He likes you...His name is Gethin." She nods at Jamison in greeting. "Jamison, good to see you again."

[16:31] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) tells Jamison, "Then I think I need to give this back." She very carefully handed him the ring, making sure that a finger didn't accidentally slide even CLOSE to going on. "I think you might have to chalk this one up to a lesson learned." Emma laid a hand on Rizzo's shoulder. He was a little dirty from sleeping in his den, but he was a Kobold. What could you expect?! She said to Aurelia, "Have you heard about Lady Elizabeth's announcement?"

[16:36] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) smiles at the lovely little bird, and at Nadora. "You are quite lovely, indeed, Gethin, and friendly too!!" She laughed merrily, seeing her husband join them. "Hello, my love!!" Turning her attention to the Tari, she looks slightly concerned. "I hear many announcements from Lady Elizabeth and most she cannot remember herself!" Aurelia chuckles slightly. "What is the latest news? Tis something good, I hope?"

[16:38] Jamison Blackwater (Wild Cote)frowned lightly at Emm, though it was more of an amused frown rather than an actual look of disappointment. "Aw, see, that's no fun, giving up on the puzzle before it's even started," he chuckled, slipping the ring back into his pocket. "It'd actually be extremely useful for someone who was magic-null, but it's essentially a death sentence for anyone who uses magic to defend themselves, I'm afraid. But it's a fun little puzzle to work with for the moment." He then shifted his weight and added, "So how've you been?"

[16:39] Rizzo (rizokobold.minotaur) is reasured by the pet to his shoulder a clump of dirt is shaken free as helooks up to the Tari "oh that remings me Tari, when that hooman lady came visiting last niight...me ...think she had more to say to yoo before she had to go..and then yoo went inside the hall...may have been trouble...but me always expect trouble"

[16:39]  Gales Hawkblood smiles as he approaches Aurelia. "Hello, my love" he whispered as he stood next to her and gently took her hand.

[16:43] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) bowed to Gales. "Vedui, Gales Hawkblood. Good to see you. How fare you?" He looked whole and fit. She told his pretty wife, "She has announced herself the ruler of Aberynth. If it is good or not, I suppose that will remain to be seen." When Rizzo told her about the Den Mother, she frowned. It would not be good to make an enemy of a new ruler, especially one as powerful as Lady Elizabeth. "Diola lle for telling me, Rizzo. I will visit her. Perhaps that will help mend things." She told Jamison, "And tht is my case, Jamison. Valesk has not been too kind to me of late, and that has saved me was my magic." She looked back to the two royal guards at her back. "And these two." They had literally become human shields to protect her and she owed them her life.

[16:50] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods at the Tari, as indeed, she has heard that. "I had heard the Lady Elizabeth say so in jest to me but a few days ago, but then claimed was a title she did not want. I did not believe her, though she has been nothing but a friend to me. Friends can of course be wanting in power more than they let on. I also do not believe it a good thing; her ideas on ruling are perhaps not what others might find fair or virtuous." She spoke with respect, but it was clear she suspected how Lady Elizabeth conducted her affairs, and did not want the whole of Aberwyth turned into Lower Aberwyth. "The Lady Mont-d'Or has been ambitious as of late, thinking the whole of Valesk should be working for her, I fear. Due respect, but tis not the case. I am overdue for a tea with her..perhaps I shall find out more in congenial settings.". She takes her husband's hand and squeezes it loving. "I am very glad to see you, my love. I crash-landed into these lovely people". She grimaces, but her eyes dance merrily.

[16:50] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) his eyes focused on the ring that the human was claiming was antimagic or magic resistant... he pears at it from under Emmalines elbow curious and thinking what a useful tool that would be around the tip of a spear thrown at a magicly sheilded mage

[16:52] Gales Hawkblood nodded respectfully to the Tari. "Viteui" He said and then grimaced as he realized he once again butchered the elven language. "I am doing well. How fare you this evening"

[16:54] Jamison Blackwater (Wild Cote) sighed and chuckled grimly as he commented, "Ah, it's a sad day when a queen actually has to fear for her life in these lands." He then smiled softly as he added, "But look on the bright side! Even if you were attacked, we have some of the best healers on the island, and even death can theoretically be shrugged off. And I'm certain they'd be more than happy to do it for you," he added with a faint smile. "Especially considering how popular you are, mm?"

[16:58] Marissa Ludlow clicks her tongue at Gethin and he shrieks at her as if in protest, but he flies back to her shoulder. She reaches into the pouch at her side and presents him with a piece of jerky to which he gobbles down quickly, as though he's starving. She laughs at him and shakes her head. She listens quietly to the conversation around her then looks back at the Tari. "Well I thank you again, Highness, but it seems you've many guests this eve to entertain. I will take the gown and save it for the next event."She smiles again and bows. "A good eve to you all."

[17:00] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) smiled, and it was a true and happy one. "I am very well, diola lle, Gales Hawkblood. Better than well, actually, with people like Jamison and Myst and Eph around." Not to mention Rizzo. She had a feeling he was going to be a powerful ally, and she was glad that he was with her. That comment about the ring had been smart and insightful--and something that could be used against her. She smiled wryly at Jamison's remark, answering him back with a cheeky, "Uma, so popular that people keep trying to kill me!" She turned to Nadora and told her, "I am glad that you could wear it. Hopefully, the next event you wear it at will be right here!" She swept her arm around the courtyard.

[17:04] RizzoRizzo (rizokobold.minotaur) whispers to Emm "that ring of his could be very useful not only for defense but for offense..a spear or arrow could shoot right though wards.."

[17:10] Emmaline Anundr AldinEmmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) looked down to the little Kobold, nodding her head and answering him softly, "You are right, Rizzo. Perhaps we need to see about purchasing that ring." She had an idea, not about the ring, but about Lady Elizabeth. "You know, Aurelia. If you were to have the title of Amar'o Peth--an Eldari Diplomat, you would have the clout and authority to represent the eldari with Lady Elizabeth." She waited to see what she would say.

[17:14] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) waves with a smile and turns to go. Suddenly she pauses, gripping the staff in her hand as if it is the only thing keeping her upright. The eye sockets on the skulls of the staff start to glow an odd, hazy blue-green color. Starting to shake, she tries to take a step but struggles to move. The wind starts to pick up, violently whipping around Nadora as she stands there trembling. Odd whispering emanates from around her when suddenly a black mist seeps from her a scream escaping her lips and she collapses onto the cobblestone. The mist is thick and 10 meters in diameter.

[17:15] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) missed Jamison's chat about the ring, but she knew it was better if he kept it to his own fingers for now, and deduced what was going on with a worried frown. Hopefully, he did not get carried away with his own grand ideas. Though, it was her nature, to always worry over the small mistakes that could be costly. She knew how talented Jamison was, but there was a bit of worry for the Tari and her magical abilities. Hearing Emma's idea, she bowed most humbly, in the way she only did for the most noble and kind-hearted of people. "Thank you humbly, my Tari, I should be most honoured to represent you and the Eldari in that manner."

[17:18] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) would quickly take his place in front of Emma to protect her from the black mist, shielding her and lifting his arm up to protect himself from"My Tari, keep back!" he exclaimed as he would keep his ground, digging his feet into it firmly

[17:20]  Gales Hawkblood realized that this would probably not be fun and gently guided Aurelia behind him still holding firmly on to her hand. He reached for his sword without drawing it not sure what good it would do, but it was all he had nonetheless

[17:20] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) stepped back, unable to go forward to see to the fallen Nadora what with the two guards and Myst blocking her way completely. "What's happened?" she exclaimed. She had been just about to thank Aurelia for accepting the appointment to Amar'o Peth. But that would have to wait. Nadora was down and the black mist was spreading all around her.

[17:20] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur)pushes past into the mist...knowing roughtly where nadora fell he focied on finding her by scent and feeling around the ground the mist actually blocked a lot of light so his infravision was able to see her fallen form and he ruehed to her and gently checked her out for pulse and sniffing her for odd poison smells

[17:23] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) would still be breathing and her pulse there, but unsteady and light. The strange whispers would still be loud around her, if one could see spirits, they would see many swirling around her. Some friendly, others looking not so much. The mist would not hurt anyone, just block out the light. Gethin had flown off when the wind had picked up. He had seen Nadora use magic enough to know when to get out of the way. She was not moving, nor many any noises, though if touched, her temperature would be very very cold.

[17:27] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) forgets about the discussions with the Tari for the moment. She looks outside of herself, now focused on the black cloud. In the centre, she attempts to find a flicker of flame, so that whatever is eminating from Nadora gathers in a cloud that is much more compressed. In her mind, she allows the flame to exist, and grow brighter, creating a strong enough light to penetrate the darkness. (1/2)

[17:31] Emmaline Anundr Aldinstays behind the two guards and their leader, though she wasn't happy about it. She felt completely helpless, not able to even see around the wall they created in front of her. "What's happening? Is Nadora alright?"

[17:31] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) would try to make his way into the dark mist looking for Nadora to get to her side, he was worried for her very much, and was not wanting any harm to come to her. But suddenly he stopped in place, his eyes shot wide open, he would grab at his head suddenly and seeing the spirits swirling about in the vortex, he would begin to thrash about, a loud scream of pain coming from him as he fell to his knees, slamming his hands into the ground and would feel his inside burn

[17:36] Rizzo (rizokobold.minotaur) takes hold of the cold flesh of the woman and though it was undignified he would drag her over the cobbles and the grass to the gazebo and one of the couches

[17:37] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) stares at the flame she has created in her mind, though the darkness around her is not responding. She instead visualises a bright and holy light, the colour of the Tari's hair, staring until the black mist is turned in her mind's eye, and she is shrouded in light. (2/2, Protection From Evil.)

[17:38] (Unnamed)(Unnamed) thud thud thud as her head bobs as he draged her up the stairs then grunted as he unceromouniously flopped her onto the couch

[17:38] Gales Hawkblood tightens his grip on the hilt of his undrawn sword. He still has no idea what he intends to do with it or even what he is looking at, but holds in front of Aurelia as if to protect her from something he doesn't know how to deal with

[17:40] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) is dragged to the couch, she was going to have one hell of a headache when she woke thanks to the dragging up the stairs. She lays there, very still in an awkward position as the kobold dumps her onto the couch. The darkness still stays in the circle where it was cast, filling the area, though the whispers go with her as well as the wind.

[17:43] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) would continue to scream and yell in pain, the dark mist was drifting towards him now, and quickly, his body was lifting off the ground as the mist suddenly began to swirl around him rapidly, his screams becoming almost inhuman, as if mixing with another creature, suddenly dark tendrils would pop out of his back, thrashing about behind him as his evolving began, and it was going to be a painful one, after many years, the demon he had made a pact with is going to give him what he had promised that child many many years ago

[17:44] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) cringes when Myst screams. The other two guards have already drawn swords, but what they intended to do with them Emma didn't know. "Help him!" she commanded them, but they looked on the screaming man, just as helpless as their Tari. Rizzo had managed to drag Nadora out from the blackness and over to the gazebo, but Emma was afraid to leave Myst alone in the blackness. Aurelia's call for protection was answered by a light as black as the darkness that now encircled Myst.
 
[17:47] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) is quite uncertain what is going on, but she is torn between the pity in her heart as she hears the screams, and her desire to keep herself, her loved ones, and her friends safe. She concentrates on her mind's eye, shutting out the screams, and waits for the beloved shield to appear before her, protecting her even in the light. (Mage Shield UP)

[17:51] Gales Hawkblood draws his sword and takes on a half defensive half offensive stance. He almost had a grin through his worried face as he said "party time"

[17:53] Jamison Blackwater (Wild Cote) frowned lightly at the magical mist surrounding the man, and he exhaled softly and closed his eyes. Softly, he began to chant a spell as he folded his arms over his chest, trying to keep his heartbeat still. A calm sense of serenity washed over him, as though he was standing on a pool of clear water, and a magical spell seemed to build within him as he watched the scene quietly, still murmuring under his breath. [17:55] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) adjusts the fallen woman and makes shooing guestures at teh shadowy whispers... hes from the underdark shadowy whispers where everywhere. he checks her bresthing by his hand being placed on her chest and feeling it for breathing...although he ment well witnesses would think he was coping a feel. he looks back over his shoulder and yeslls toward Tari "TARI...that hooman with the weird ring would be REAL handy right now.."

[17:57] Emmaline Anundr Aldin couldn't do much right now, but she might be able to get that ring. She didn't realize that Jamison was beginning a spell, so she jumped in and called to him, "Jamison, the ring! Throw me the ring!"

[17:57] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) would continue to writhe in the air as the process continued, , all the sudden the mist would disppappear into his body, he hovered there for a moment, all was quiet, and suddenly a burst of pure shadow magic erupted from his body in a ten foot radius, he would fall to the fround, silent and unmoving, his hood fell from his head and the tentacles went back into his body, streams of shadow drifting from his eyes and mouth as he layed there.

[18:00] Jamison Blackwater (Wild Cote)winced as the darkness washed over him, but he continued chanting, though he opened one eye and shook his head. "That... won't work. Was a... temporary charm. Worn off... by now." He then closed his eyes again and exhaled, continuing his litanous chanting as he approached the small group, adding in between verses, "But there is... something I can do..." [18:01] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) stirred slightly and her eyes would flutter open slowly. She had a splitting migraine as she opened her eyes and looked completely disoriented. She looks up to find Rizzo leaning over her, his hand on her chest. She gasps in surprise and shock at the kobold. The whispers suddenly went silent and the darkness that had poured out of her had vanished as quickly as it had begun. "what are you doing?!" She asks Rizzo is a slight panic, bits of the last few moments coming back to her in flashes.

[18:01] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) was flustered, as she heard Emma's voice, and hoped it did not reach Jamison, who was the only one trying to be able to provide protection to everyone. She willed him to concentrate, with all her being.

[18:02] Gales Hawkblood step forward, but stopped as the man stopped wraithing and the tentacles dissapeared. he still wasn't sure what was going on, but knew it wasn't good

[18:06] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) his hand remains on her chest for a awkward moment as he looks into her face seeing shes awake. "oh... yoo is awake" he states needlessly ..then it occurs to him to stop feeling her chest. wiping it on his hip as he pulls it away "yoo did ...weird magic black thing and shadows and whispers and.... yoo banged yoo head on the ground..." leaving out the part he dragged her

[18:08] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) would slowly open his eyes the black aura still streamly freshing from them, but not from his mouth, he would get to his feet and struggles to stay on them, his head slowly riseing from its lowered position, a look of pure darkness would be on his face, an inhuman smile upon it"Ah, it seems that everyone has gathered around to view this young man's evolution..." he said as the unknown oice would blend with his own

[18:09] Jamison Blackwater (Wild Cote) exhaled softly as he finished the last verse of the chant, and then closed his eyes. He snapped his fingers, and a deep violet bubble suddenly extended outwards from his being, enveloping the immediate area. Instantly, the area inside of it would still, as if they were caught in the eye of a hurricane, and he chuckled gently as he opened his eyes, his arms folded over his chest. "There. This should help settle things down. An anti-magic bubble. Though I have to keep focused on it and can't do anything else at the moment, but at least it'll prevent any further magical mishaps. But I can at least move around, so point me where you want me to go," he added with a cheeky grin, before stepping back slightly from the entity, though keeping it well within the bubble, a calm look on his face. [18:12] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) would immediately look over toward Myst as though she knew what was happening to him. She would sit up and nod at Rizzo. "Thank you for your help. " She stood, shaky on her feet and using her staff to help her she would make her way back over to Myst and the others. She looked suddenly frail, weakened by what happened. Her voice, usually soft and somewhat soothing, was now hoarse and rough. "The darkness was a manifestation of what was to come..."She says a bit cryptially as she looks at Mystogan but speaks to the others. "The transformation." She had forseen it, but was unable to stop her wild magic from manifesting at her vision.

[18:16]Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) turns her attention to Nadora, speaking to her in a quiet voice, keeping out of range of Jamison's bubble. "Are you alright, m'lady? What is it....that you see?"

[18:16] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) not entirly sure she sould be up and walking he follows after Nadora imaging that if she would fall he would galantly catch her insted of being crushed by a woman twice his size " be careful"

[18:21] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) would continue to look at everyone with that ear to ear wicked grin, he would speak again"Thsi man now has full control of shadow magic, IAs I had promised him during the ritual that was performed on him as a child, and inreturn, he will give me the sacrifices that I desire, or else.....things will not be pretty for him and his loved ones." he said with a wicked laugh, all the sudden something would shoot from his chest, a blur of blackness would fly out and vanish into the ground, now gone for good.

[18:25] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) frowns as she stands there, nodding slightly at Rizzo, not intending to fall over, but there was no guarantee she wouldn't. She looks over at Aurelia and then back to Myst again though she speaks to the winged elf. "I...think so...Just a headache...What I saw was Mystogan's transformation. His."She pauses as she tries to formulate teh words she wants to say. "His being changing and becoming something..."She tilts her head as she studies the male in black. "Else." What that something was she wasn't entirely sure. Myst had told her of his background, but the voice that came out of him frightened her more than a little.

[18:26] Jamison Blackwater (Wild Cote) glanced down at the demon, a nonplussed look on his face, and he snapped his fingers again, dispelling the magical bubble as he shook his head. "Well. That was odd. Though I do grow tired of demons and their prophecies of 'ah, fear me for I am darkness incarnate.' It gets rather dull, frankly." Shaking his head, he folded his arms over his chest again and let out a slow breath as the magic took a faint toll on his body.

[18:29] )Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) he was concerened for all involved the guy in black seemed .... weirdr than he was before and Nadora who seemed to start the whole thing seemed fine "um matron why type of spell were yoo casting...and...um....please dont do it again"

[18:30] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) looks around, though her energy is focused on Nadora, not Myst and Jamison. She can sense there is more than the woman is telling her or even knows. In a gentle, friendly way, she touches Nadora's arm, opening her mind's eye and dimming the flame to let Nadora's vision in, while her touch ressures the fragile woman. (Entranced, 1/1)

[18:39] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) would slowly reopen his eyes, their normal color returning, the glowing gold returning and the darkness stopping from flowing from his eyes, placing his hands on his head and would be silent for a moment, then he would lift his head up, he would begin to speak"Well....I knew this day would come....it was only a made of time."

[18:41] Jamison Blackwater (Wild Cote) cast a sidelong glance at Myst as he commented, "I thought you couldn't speak. Leastaways, you hadn't until now." Shaking his head, he moved past him and stopped by the well, leaning over it to get a long drink of water. He seemed, surprisingly, utterly unperturbed by the events that had transpired, almost as if it was mundane for him, though that was of course not the case.

[18:44] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) leans against the well as she looks at Aurelia. She would mostly see a haze of chaos swirling around Nadora's thoughts. Spirits whispering to her from every corner. Some warning her to be careful, others taunting her, encouraging her to cast harmful magic and how good it would feel to wield that destructive magic. Then, there would be flashes of Myst, as a child, more swirling darkness. Her eyes began to glow softly as the memory of her premonition floated into Aurelia's mind. Myst as an adult, standing at the very spot he was now, a big shadowy figure merging with him.

[18:51] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) works very hard to keep the flame small and the window to her mind's eye open, and she physically moves backwards as she is flooded by a whirlwind of images, mostly about the demon...but it was not her demon. It was not Nadora's demon. Whose was it? It was Myst's demon, she just saw, she saw the shadowy magic with her own eyes. As her mind looked into Nadora's, it all became lost and confused and upside down. Now the demon behaved as if he was summoned by Jamison and traveled through Nadora, but Aurelia could not be sure. Myst was upside down...no, he was on the ground. The Demon came from him. Aurelia felt she was losing her mind. She began to hum, a lilting melody that turned into a golden Song, one only Nadora could hear. It asked who to whom the demon was attached, and if it meant harm to the Elves, and why everything was so confused.

[18:56] Jamison Blackwater (Wild Cote) yawned and pushed himself up and away from the well. "Right, I think I could use a drink in the meanwhile. Ladies," he added with a grin, tossing them a faint wave as he headed off, his hands in his pockets.

[18:57] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) steps back away from Aurelia, her head still throbbing from being dragged up the stairs. She watches Myst walk away with a frown, hoping he would be alright. She hadn't meant to cast the darkness, it was simply a reaction to the vision. "I do not feel so well..."She looks pale and a bit green.

[19:00] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) would stop and turn his head to look at Nadora, he would maintain eye contact with her, but would suddenly vanish into the ground and trails off into the darkness of the night, using his shadow step ability to wander away from the area

[19:00] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) helps Nadora to the ground, she herself falling slightly from the effort of trying to see into Nadora's mind, which really was confused., It made Aurelia feel like someone on the brink of madness. Of course Jamison could not summon demons and knew nothing of Myst's magic, and Nadora, well....something about her was not right. It was chaotic and backwards, and it confused Aurelia, too. There were clearly no corrrect answers here, but her ability to try to get them left all uncomfortable. Turning to Nadora, she asks quietly, "Are you in need of help?"

[19:02] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) would rest her head in her hands for a moment, trying to collect her thoughts. "I am, though I do not know if anyone can help me. "She looks up at the woman and offers a weak smile. "Perhaps just some rest would do me wonders."

[19:04])Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) smiles too, for she is also exhausted. Something strange had happened, and she could not understand. "Do you need help to the infirmary, my lady? I think I too must get home and rest. Tis a draining day."

[19:05] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) shakes her head a bit and smiles at the winged elf. "No, thank you. I have no physical wounds they could help me with. I think I will go to the forest and meditate and rest. You are too kind."

[19:08] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods empathetically, as the woman looks rather as she feels, drained and confused. They are clearly both in need of rest and quiet. "Please do get home safely. I am sorry if today caused you much distress." She bows in respect, before summoning the rest of her energy to fly home.

[19:48] Applebottom's Tavern & Inn: As you near the tavern's open entryways, the light and scents of food and drink give off a friendly warmth against the autumn chill. There are tables and chairs aplenty to take a rest, with a NPC barmaid who seems always ready with a smile and a drink. Helga's her name, if the calls of others are any indication, and Helga will point off to the door of the building to the side when asked, saying, "That's where you can rest your head. The Inn."


[19:49] Gales Hawkblood steps into the tavern and waves as he takes a seat

[19:49] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) looks to Na Ze as she enters and nearly spills several people out of their seats... then as she speaks of forgiving him for the bell thing, he would nod, saying "I

[19:49] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) flutters into the tavern and greets Gerard with a slight bow, and nods her head to a woman she has not seen before.

[19:51] Na Ze (EzeSummonitor Resident) Sees the new people enter as she is waiting for Gerald to say something in response to her request to sing something for him and turns towards them, flinging out her arms in what looks like a potential hug. "Oh how absolutely -lovely- to see you two! I had no idea you were stopping by or I would have arranged something special for you!! Gerald, you should have mentioned they were coming by!" This is all said in one breathe and the words just keep coming in what amounts to fast forward on a VCR "My name is Na Ze if it pleases you! If it does not then you should tell me what does and we can always use that instead! I find it very very useful to be flexible about these things" She finally seems to run out of oxygen and stops, taking a deep breathe as though readying herself for another onslaught.

[19:52] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) "I'm glad that you have seen reason, miss Nana." he would then shrug "If you want to sing for the tavern, go right on ahead. I already told you that one of the things you can do is sing, since you seem to be good at it." As a few people enter the tavern, he would gesture to them, saying "WOuld you like to take their orders first, miss Nanu?" Then Na Ze lapses into her usual on meeting triade, and he heaves a sigh, taking a swig of his mead.

[19:54] Gales Hawkblood raises a finger and motions that he would like drinks placed in front of him and Aurelia. Then he realized that no one may remember what it was the they drink. he grinned and added "essence of bee spit please"

[19:55] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) tilts her head at the curiously fast speaking woman, and her eyes flicker in amusement. "Tis quite lovely to meet you, Na Ze. It is indeed a lovely name. I am Aurelia, and tis my husband Gales. And, no, no fuss about anything! We just stopped in for a simple drink, and because we thought to see if anything new was on the menu. " She frowned as her husband placed the order. "Bee spit!!"

[19:59] Na Ze (EzeSummonitor Resident) Instantly moves towards the wine rack, running one perfectly manicured finger along the bottles and reading them, her mouth moving as she mouths the various exotic sounding names and beverages. She looks up, hands on her hips and stares at Gerald with a blink "There is no bee spit on these shelves. How am I supposed to serve the customers what they order if you do not have it? Do you keep bees in the back? Is this one of those "on top" things where I have to go find them and make them pit into teeny little glasses? I am not entirely sure about this, Gerald. I don't recall you mentioning bee spitting as a necessary part of this job." She looks at where the bell usually is with a slight longing in her eyes and then turns her multi watt smile on the newly arrived couple as she waits for Gerald to produce Bee Spit

[20:03] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) heaves a sigh "Honey mead, miss Na Ze. They mean honey mead... it's in this barrel here." he taps a barrel at his side and steps to the side, then looks over to the two at the table "Tonight for dinner we have... steak!" he bobs his head "That's right, deer steak, with steamed veggies and a dinner roll. For dessert tonight we have our special of rum cake... everyone loves the rum cake.

[20:05] Gales Hawkblood smiles and nods "Yes mead. Make that three please?" He smiles as he points to Archie, Aurelia's guard.

[20:07] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) resists laughing aloud at this reply. "No, no, tis no such thing as bee spit, thank goodness. My husband just tries to make everyone feel amused!! On the other hand, what might amuse me is a good rum cake, so two of those, please....and they're not both for me, I promise!"

[20:07] Na Ze (EzeSummonitor Resident) She stands up from where she has been going through the various cupboards looking for the smallest little glasses they have, presumably in preparation for her job of making bees spit. With a sigh she puts the glasses back and gets some regular ones out, walking over to the barrel that Gerald indicated. "Well now see this is why it is good to be clear about things. Suppose I had actually tried to go find bees and make them spit? That would have been extremely rude to the bees, you see and that just wouldn't do!" Because politeness matters when you're a monster like her. Somehow....or the other....

[20:13] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) shrugs "I would have liked to watch you try and make bees spit, miss Nunu. Since they're bees... and don't talk, or listen. Or understand what you're saying... anyway, yes, they mean honey mead... and *I* can understand this, miss Nala." He would then flash Aurelia a smile and bob his head, saying "Right, two slices of rum cake coming up." With that, he would procure... exactly what he said he would. Of course, they would be on two separate plates, and have two forks, because we are CIVILIZED after all. Bringing them over, he'd set the plates down, saying "Here you are, enjoy!" before turning and heading back behind the counter.

[20:15] Gales Hawkblood couldn't hold back his laughter. He hadn't meant to make it difficult. What else could be spit be but honey? He placed his coin on the table and waited for the drinks to arrive

[20:17] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) laughs genuinely, and nods her head to Na Ze. "I think Gales will have to remember his silly jokes are silly!! And no, indeed, I should not want you to be impolite to the bees!! We do enjoy their mead, however" She frowns in displeasure, having seen Jamison pass by and leave without so much as a hello. "Gerald, dear, I've heard you're taking over this place!! It is most happy news indeed, and we always love it here...when there are no wolf attacks, of course!:" She smiles with laughter in her eyes. "Please let me know if you are in need of anything here...tis a big job, running this place!" She looks excitedly at the rum cake, which is as big as her face.

[20:20] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) bobs his head to Aurelia "It's already mine, actually. Miss Cedar just came in one day and dropped it on me, then left. I'm still working on figuring everything out, really." he would hum then, and ask "Well... are either of you looking for jobs? Right now it's me, Knee Zee here, and miss Miryam. I'm still looking for employees to work."

[20:27] Gales Hawkblood accepts the tankards of mead and passes them around the table. Passing one to Archibald and one to Aurelia, he raises the last one briefly before taking a large swig and passing on the coin to pay for the drinks

[20:29] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) chuckles a bit at the idea of working in a tavern, as she'd never done such a thing and part of her would find it most amusing, if not exactly befitting her skills. "I think it's quite wonderful she gave you such a gift!! You were willing to perish defending this tavern; it certainly should be yours." She smiles, taking a bite of her rum cake. "And, as always, the pastries are delicious!" She stops politely, resisting the urge to talk while eating cake. "Indeed, thank you for the kind offer, but my services are needed elsewhere....though if you need advice on managing your accounts or making sure nobody takes advantage of your kindess now that Cedar has left you the place, I am quite experienced with that sort of thing. Carrying drinks...well, I'd not know bee spit either" She lets out a musical laugh.

[20:33] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) frowns "I'm a warden... it's my job t' fight things to the death. It's literally in the job description... fight things... to the death. I don't know the first thing about runnin' a tavern! I managed to get Alleo to give me some tips though, and... well it's still standing, so... success?" he shrugs, then bobs his head "Thank you, I do try my best on the cooking." he grins "If I have someone wanting to make me sign things, I'll call for you. I'm... still working on that end, but I'm learning!"

[20:39] Gales Hawkblood tightly puts an arm around his wife and takes another gulp of meed. He noted that Archibald had been unusually quiet tonight. He had guess that a social environment might be a little too much for him.

[20:41] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) feels a bit like Na Ze, now wondering if it said in ink "Fight things...to the death!", but keeps her thoughts to herself. "Indeed, but not everyone can do that job. Some find it quite heroic, and the world needs more of that." She smiles, and pauses, hearing that Alleo is advising Gerald. "Ah, Alleo. The Mont-d'Ors are quite the enterprising lot, so you could do worse than advice from them. But, indeed, you must be careful. Tis not wise to sign anything without consulting someone honest in such matters, so consider me at your disposal." She smiles at Gerald, proud of all his accomplishments. Archie, however, glares a bit at everyone. He didn't care for mead or bee spit, and people would know if they'd bother to ask his opinion.

[20:47] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) personally did not care much to ask Archie's opinion... or know who or what an archie is... but he would nod "Yes, Arad did give me some good advice, and I thank him for it... he also said he'd help me out with taxes and all that when the time comes around for it." he grins "SO things are going pretty well.. though I do need to go down to the docks and talk about shipments with the ships that just came in. Perhaps I'll do that tomorrow... it's a little late right now for that."

[20:55] Gales Hawkblood nods. "I'm not always very personable, but I may be looking for work at some point. I think I can handle filling mugs from a keg"
[20:56] Gales Hawkblood (cont) "And you may need to tell me what is what and how much to ask for. I have a slight issue with the written word"

[20:59] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods, and agrees with that. "I would not be at the docks at this hour looking to do business, even with two men protecting me. Those who do business so late can do....dangerous business. Best to wait until tomorrow, yes. Are the Mont-d'Ors assisting you with connections with suppliers, as well?" She smiled at Gales, and his interest in working at the tavern, "My love, you should be wonderful working at the tavern! And we will work on those things, have you writing and doing sums in no time!"

[21:02] Ephralia: {hi! on phone = my first time} Eph ambles in, chip(munk) on her shoulder. "Vedui, il'er!" she says with a sunny smile and wave.

[21:03] Daval (davalkatro.alucinakis) looks about and simply says, to himself more than anyone else. "Bloody hell, people."

[21:05] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) grins to Gales "I can't read either, lad. Keep yer wits about you, and you'll own a tavern yerself some day." he laughs. "Aye, if'n yer in the market fer a job, lemme know and I can hire you fer a barkeeper 'er bouncer or something, whatever you like." He then shakes his head to Aurelia "No, they aren't helping with that... that's for me to figure out, I suppose." He frowns then "He doesn't know numbers?" He looks to Gales "You don't know numbers? I can help you with that. I know numbers, I just can't read."

[21:07] Gales Hawkblood laughs "I can count up to" He pauses for a moment thinking to himself his eyes moving about as he focuses on each digit "twenty...." He pauses again with a grin "one" he laughs

[21:08] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) brightens up at seeing Eph, and flutters a bit in greeting, as the Malantur's enthusiasm is contagious. "Vedui, cousin! Do come and sit with us!! We were just congratulating Gerald on his good fortune with the tavern, and Gales has considered he may wish to work here!" She regards both men with a tilt of the head. "Reading is something I can help the both of you with, should you wish. I never had the knack for concentrating, but I was surrounded by books and tutors since I was quite young. It is a whole new world, once you learn the written word. Gerald, we must indeed sit down and some point and discuss the situations with the merchants. They will rob you blind if you are not wary." She looks concerned.  ((but has to abandon a good RP to attend a SL wedding! LOL ))

[14:52] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) spies Caroline, and with a polite bow, she looks over the rather interesting looking maiden. "Good day to you, my lady .Tis a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance! How do you find your time in Valesk today? "

[14:53]  Gales Hawkblood bows slightly to Caroline "Good day m'lady" he says with a shy smile

[14:59] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) walking peace was slow as if she was trying to memorize every corner as she walked by, it was a peaceful day she stood in silence for a second and could easy smell something different she turned her head covered by a hood, her light gray eyes examined the couple and bowed her head "Good day to you, It is very peaceful...I'm enjoying a bit of silence today" she smiled politely and bowed her head to the man as well.

[15:04] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) looked the hooded woman up and down, appraising her as if she were a new puzzle she could not quite figure out. Something about her was, different, though she knew not what. It kept her slightly on edge, though her face did not show it. "I thought I'd say hello, as you look as if you might be new to Valesk!! I am Aurelia, and tis my husband Gales. And this rude and silent gent with us is my guard, Archibald. I can tell he is wishing to go into the tavern for a beverage...should you care to join us?" Aurelia tilts her head politely.

[15:06] Gales Hawkblood nodded again as his name was said then he turned to Archie and laughed "Go easier this time. You aren't much of a guard if you can't even walk"

[15:12] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) nodded as she listened, in other instance she would have asked whoever was talking to her to lower her voice, this time she didn't "I am new that is correct" she said and added "And is very nice to meet you Aurelia" she said politely and turned towards Gales "And is nice to meet you too" she smiled at Archibald "I don't care at all....I follow you" she said and waited for the couple to show her the way as she tried not to laugh at Gales comment.

[15:18] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) tilts her head politely and listens, smiling a bit in welcome to the new woman! "Oh, charming! We love meeting the new denizens to the Isle....we just had a time when it was difficult for people to even find us, so it's a pleasure to see new faces." She flutters her wings a bit in merriment at her husband's comment. "Alright, I think we can all have one drink and get to know one another. Pity Gerald is not about!" She turned to walk toward the tavern.

[15:22] Gales Hawkblood (cont)looked rather embarassed as he passed around the drinks "Oops" He motioned for Helga to bring an ale to Archie

[15:24] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) waited until the couple passed by her....her steps were slow but firm and silent, she examined around taking metal notes of how everything was placed and smiled as she made her way to the table and sat feeling a bit uncomfortable "This is nice" she said and pull down her hood so show her gray eyes and long black hair :"So.....How long you have been here?" she asked politely

[15:30] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) smiled reassuringly at the stranger, as she could tell she was a bit out of her element...and it WAS disconcerting to encounter a gold elf on the lap of a man with a giant sword. The literal sort. She knew she should sit more properly, but it was so easy to feel relaxed at the Tavern. "Indeed, tis a lovely place, and just now under new ownership, as well!! Gales may come to work here soon". She beamed proudly at that. Pausing for a moment, she replied "I've been here only about three months, myself. Was a rough crossing, and times were quite different. " Archibald gives a grunt of appreciation for the ale, and is happy the man remembers he hated the bee spit or whatever that shite happened to be called.

[15:33] Gales Hawkblood had been on Valesk for as long as he could remember and he said as much. He smiled proudly as his wife mentioned that he may come to work at the tavern. It was a far cry from hunting and selling skins, but it was honest work and the hours were good.

[15:40] Guenevere Amaranth: ((waves to Gavinox and invites him to come join us!))

[15:40] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) nodded as she listened "Makes sense" she said "You seem to be adjusted already.....I'm still finding my way around" she answered her eyes fixed on the candle light in the center of the table...following its movements and flickering "I might be around often if you both will be around, familiar faces" she said and pointed to the drink on the table "Whats that made of?" she asked with genuinely curiosity

[15:46] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) chuckled a bit as Archibald grunted in reply to the question. "This drink is called mead, tis made from honey and is quite delicious. Gales, however, confused the poor waitress here the other night to no end, and now Archie won't touch the stuff. I shall let him tell you that story." Her eyes also caught the flame on the table, as they always did, but she quickly looked away. "Indeed, we are quite familiar faces here, and always most happy to see friends and be of a social sort! Though I must admit, my transition was a bit easier. I found the greatest help of all....love." She smiles adoringly at Gales. Seeing Gavinox, she calls out pleasantly, "Do come join us, my friend, tis lovely to see you again! Has been some time!"

[15:51] (Unnamed)(Unnamed) Gales Hawkblood laughed at the reasoning that Archibold wouldn't drink mead. "Apparently if you ask for 'essence of bee spit' people get uncomfortable and don't know what you are really asking for"

[15:57] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) nodded "Mead...." she said and grabbed her cup, she examined the cup carefully her busy arm was now unprotected and black scales could be easily seen as slight fish odor was on the air she laughed as she took a sip of the mead she was offered she coughed "Is mead supposed to be this sweet?" she asked as she tried to clean away her tongue "Archibold....you seem to be really fun to be around of" she smiled as she started to relax in the company of the couple she just met. She smiled as someone else was approaching to their table and added "This bee spit might be dangerous then...."

[16:03] ℬгoηsoη Dαggєя: 4 after having his fun with the elves decided the tavern needed his attention, it doesnt get his coin, but it will get his attention, and in he goes, off to 'his spot' where he makes himself exceptionally comfortable

[16:04] Gavinox: Was more or less walking past, but as someone called out he gave pause and blinked as he spotted a couple....was that couple coupling?!?! "S-sorry!" He just saw legs and a lap and he turned his face away. A bit later he left a hand up and gave a tentative way over his shoulder. "Hey....folks.." Cause well what do you say to to people when their lap sitting? He wasnt sure...so a hello would have to do.

[16:09] Lady Elizabeth Mont-d'Or (ValerieVixxen Resident)Lady Elizabeth Mont-d'Or (ValerieVixxen Resident) stepped out of her luxurious room and began to make her way over towards the palace to chill on her temporary throne...But it seemed that the town actually had some folks besides the usual peasants about. Reginald, her sickeningly British guard, would begin clearing the way for her, pushing peasants gently (more or less) out of the woman's path, shouting out "Make way for the Regent! Make way for the Regent!" in his heavy accent. She, behind him, remained mostly silent, and followed along towards the Tavern blowing kisses at the masses and waving. "Good evening, daaaaaahlings! Good evening!" she'd call out, breaking her silence with a cheery, sing song tone. "How veddeh maaaahvelous to see my people in good health! May Valeska guide you all!" she'd add, before turning in to the Tavern. A little smear of disdain would pass over her face, before instantly being replaced with another over the top smile. "Ah, dahlings, how /divine/ to see you again..." she'd say to Aurelia and Gale, before looking up at Caroline. "A new arrival to my island?"

[16:10] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) laughs at Caroline's reaction to the mead. "Yes, dear, tis supposed to be a very sweet drink! It makes it quite irresistible!" She notices the markings on the woman's arm, but says little....it isn't for her to ask questions. "Hello , indeed, to everyone!" She nods in greeting to Belaern and Gavinox, and smiles at Na Ze. "Excuse the impropriety, we sometimes like to sit on one chair, and it was empty when we arrived. Might I present our new acquaintance Caroline? It seems she has just arrived!"

[16:12] Mikachu: [Mika] quietly sneaks into the tavern, rushing over to Belaern and places a leaf on the table.. having chased it and almost fallen into the water because of it.. the faun thought it was right to show hime the culprit to her almost demise. "Having a drink today?" She asked almost in a whisper not being a fan of crowds.

[16:14]  Gales Hawkblood wraps his arms around Aurelia a little tighter as if to say he doesn't want her to move. "It leaves more room for others in the chairs" He smiled as he took a sip of his mead. "slow down, Archie" he laughed and shook his head a little. He would then nod to Lady Elizabeth and the others who had come in the building

[16:16] Belaern looks at the leaf Mika presents him "nice leaf faun" he picks it up and looks over it before setting it back down, then leans over to Mika and whispers "yeah, i am having a drink.. want something? maybe if you make a good distraction i can get us something good" he looks over as he hears a whole heap of fuss, and then that unmistakable (<-- wow, didnt think i spelled it right, but i did, but it dont look right) accent, and just watches as Elizabeth enters

[16:16] Taegen V'hoori (alyxz.marenwolf) flew peacefully through the autumn evening, enjoying the sun as it lasted in the sky, it's light slowly waning as the hour drew on while the avariel fluttered freely against the crisp breeze. A soft hum vibrated her throat as she traveled and watched the villagers of Aberwyth from above, observing their activity in passing of Middle. Destination set for her Library, the elf veered upwards following the steps and entered the market square, elongated ear twitching at the bustle of the busy tavern and slowed just a moment browse faces. Many she had not known. However; There was one! "Bones!" she uttered to herself with a mischievous look painting over freckled features and with silent wings as that of Barn owl, angled sloppily to aim the balls of her feet at the back of his head. Right on his shoulders she would land! Yup that would go perfectly. Of course... Taegen hadnt ever been strong in her dismount and likely would crush the man or miss, perhaps get lucky! Either way, she swooped down with aexclamation of, "Gavin!"

[16:20] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) pushed the Mead cup away "Way too sweet for me, I shall stay away from it too" she shifted in her seat slightly trying not to call any attention at all as more people gathered at the Tavern, Caroline frowned as the noise was now starting to bother her. She looked up to see the one they called Lady Elizabeth making her way inside the Tavern and with her a lot of noise, she gave a forced smile and nodded "It sure is a new arrival, just trying to get to know people here" she explained as she fixed her hair to the side just to have something to do with her hands, her social skills weren't the best after all.

[16:21] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) intends to get up and bow in a polite greeting to the Lady Elizabeth, but it seems Gales will not let her do so, which displeases her a bit. She would not like to be ill-mannered. Instead, she offers a respectful nod to all, and replies "Good evening to you, Belaern, Mika, and Lady Elizabeth! I did see Na Ze here earlier, but if you haven't a drink, I am sure Gales might be persuaded to pour you one if you ask politely!" Archie simply grunts an acknowledgment at Caroline's compliment, which may or may not be sarcasm. He does not understand sarcasm. He understands the ale is empty.

[16:21] Gavinox: "Uh...S'alrigh' I jes...werent expecting a Taern wench to be all extra cozi I guess.." It was normal that they did and he still didnt know who was who....he'd got taken off guard and he felt like his brain died oh well.

Then....there was a booming voice and Gavin lifted his head to watch the show. It was like a mini parade for the woman in red. Who the hell was that? He had no idea who she was but clearly she expected everyone to know. Interesting lady. "Ey lady, who are you?" But no sooner had he asked that he found him self shoved 'gently' (More or less) Out of the way for said lady. Pfffft.

Then BAM!!!!! Feet to the back of his head from Tae sent him threw the taven Arch way and face first into the floor....yaaaay. >___<

[16:23] Cailean One-Eye ‧ the Crowbane (Alistair Greymyst) is now known as Cailean.

[16:23] Mikachu: [Mika] shakes her head to taps the leaf to make sure it was not going to mysteriously float away like it was doing earlier. "Distraction? What kind, and how are you going to do that.. I am not thirsty, but you can have two drinks for me too." She laughs and glances back to the others still not understanding why he could not just pay for one this time.. too many eyes make distractions difficult.

[16:23] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) followed the stone path as she had several times, Sekai would make her way to the tavern and watch the people curiously as they spoke, she didnt know any that she saw, or if she did she didnt remember. There was sure a lot of fuss going on, Sekai decided she would just watch a bit longer before giving out a greeting to those around

[16:24]  Gales Hawkblood felt Aurelia pull against his arms and let her stand. While she was up, he motioned for Helga to bring 2 more ales one for Archie and one for Caroline.

[16:25] Belaern looks over at someone who greets him, he has a slightly irritated look on his face "how the fuck she know who I am?" he leans over and whispers to Mika "friend of yours maybe?" though he looks around Mika is right, too many eyes "maybe we oughta just head home faun, what you think?"

[16:29] Lady Elizabeth Mont-d'Or (ValerieVixxen Resident) gave a pleasant little smile to Aurelia and Gale. "Well I'm afraid the tavahn doesn't actualleh stock wines of acceptable vintages for my taste, dahling. Thankfulleh my pahsonal stash is ne-ahby, should I wish for any..." she'd reply, before turning to look at Caroline. "Well, welcome, dahling, welcome. It is always so laaahvleh to see a new face. Even mo-ahso to see one who wishes to actualleh socialize." she'd purr, reaching her hand out towards one of her handmaidens. The girl would quickly adjust the womans rings, fixing them so that they were all turned for optimum display. Which was very important for her wellbeing, you know. A call from behind would catch the womans attention during this, though, and she'd turn with confusion to look at Gavinox..."Are you new, dahling?" she'd replay simply, before smirking. "You maahst be. Eithah that or you live out in the woods."

[16:30] Mikachu: [Mika] tries to tug on his shirt and glances over to the lady with really fancy dress. "Remember she knows everyone, and is very fancy and everyone knows her, so it would make sense she knows everyone else, yes yes?" Carefully she shoos the leaf back out the door, back to wild to join its people in the pile outside. "I have plenty of firewood, look they are perfect." It was a wonder the fire went on and on.. she took well care of it.

[16:34] Taegen V'hoori (alyxz.marenwolf) flailed her wings as the man toppled over into the tavern and she struggled to keep her balance a top him. Loose plumage drifted about the room and settled in nearby locations as her bare and dirt dusted feet rested on the man's back in a perch. Hazzah! She didnt fall! "I landed!" she celebrated before kneeling down and patting the man hooded head. "Are you okay?" the inquiry came with a bit of laughter as the feathered appendages furled comfortably against her back. Green eyes rose to meet the red woman first and smiled in greeting as she stepped off her friend before scanning the rest of the room. Still no one she really knew but she politely dipped her head to any individual who glanced in her direction.

[16:37] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) realised there were too many people around to greet everyone with any sense of pleasantry, but nodded politely at the new woman who made her way through the door. She liked her immediately; nobody else seemed to notice Gavin was pushed in the course of everyone descending upon the tavern at once. There being too many people to get away with lap sitting, she reluctantly stood up.

[16:39] Gales Hawkblood frowned sadly as Aurelia stood, but he let her get up. He took a sip of mead as he reached over to take her hand.

[16:40] Gavinox: GRump and gruffed. IT was so not cool when oyu made a splat sound on the floor. "Ya landed on meeeeee Tae-Tae...and I love ya an all but....get the fook off." He muttered. He had splinters in his cheek and it hurt! "Eh...I'm alive. Ish."

With Tae assumibly still standing on him or...uh sitting on him as she patted his hood he lifted his head up to stare at the woman in red. He'd heard her earlier but feet to the back of his head had kept him from replying until now. "I aint new and I aint live in the woods neither. I live in the Boat house."

[16:40] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) dragged the cup Mead closer and away from the candle heat, she noticed it was warmer on one side, she played with her cup just to pass the time and laughed "Is this stuff really worth getting drunk with? she asked to none in particular, she maybe was talking to herself, she took a sip again just to try one more time "Oh.....it is still way too sweet" she smiled as Helga approached with Gales order "So......" she said so none in particular and quickly added "Lovely to meet you Lady Elizabeth" took another sip and swallowed hard

[16:41] Mikachu: [Mika] nodded to the people that entered, but she was so bad about meeting strangers. The faun scrambled out to try and keep Belaern out of more troubles.

[16:42] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) made her way inside the tavern slowly, Sekai would smile to any who looked her way "evening all" she would offer as she moved over to the man who had been pushed all over the place and was likely being sat/stood on by the avariel "uhm" sekai didnt exactly know what to do, that wasnt a normally occuring thing was it?

[16:48] )Lady Elizabeth Mont-d'Or (ValerieVixxen Resident) looked with further confusion at Gavinox..."The island doesn't /have/ a boathouse." she'd explain to him, still rather amazed that someone could claim to not be new, and yet not know who she was. She'd brush him off, in her mind, as a liar of sorts, before turning back towards those gathered around the table. "Oh, of cawse, dahling, of cawse...And it is a pleasyah meeting you..." she'd purr back to Caroline, before stopping short. "What did you say you-ah name was again, dahling? You maaahst fohgive me, I have an uttahleh teddible memoddeh." she'd say with a little laugh, before her eyes caught sight of the new arrival. Or rather, the more scantily clad new arrival, because it was kind of hard to have missed Tae originally. No, it was Sekai who had her attention. Her choice of clothing was...offputting...to the noblewoman. But she'd force another smile and greet her. "Good evening, de-ah..."


[16:52] Taegen V'hooriTaegen V'hoori (alyxz.marenwolf) stepped off the man and offered him a hand, "Im sorry. I thought It might of been funny." Of course she did. The girl snickered and would help the vampire up if he would accept it. Looking over to the newest addition to the little gathering in the tavern, the elf smiled and waved, "Hello!" she offered happily, wings adjusting behind her as she seemed to awkwardly glance around at the others shyly but for the most part was trying to overcome her social cowardice. It was easier with a friend around at least. " I still have your hat, Bones."

[17:00] Gavinox: Puffed his cheeks up at the woman in red. "Dock house? Boat house? ITs in Lower Aberwyth." And though he looked like a fed up chipmunk he glared for all he was worth as she brushed him off.

Getting a hand up though he took it,and once on his feet his free hand started picking out the splinters. "Its Alrigh' Tae-Tae it were kinda funny." Cause he didnt want to hurt her feelings or anything. Besides it likely amused the hell out of everyone else. "Hm? Oh yeh ya do! I like that hat too." And he poked a finger out to try and boop her nose. "Where is it?"

[17:04] )Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) is unusually quiet as she watches the assembled crew around her, but her eyes light up as she sees another elf with wings, and also notices a very pretty but scantily clad young woman in the doorway. "Good evening to those of you I've not met! I am Aurelia, and tis my husband Gales and our new friend Caroline. She gestures to the table." She also did not know there was a boat house in Lower Aberwyth, but well, she tried not to go to Lower Aberwyth. It was scary.

[17:06] Gales Hawkblood nods to the others as his name is mentioned and gulped down his mead and orders another "How fair all of you?" He asked with a smile


[17:07] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident)Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) knew some would dislike her attire, or even lack there of some would say, but Sekai was most comfortable like this so she didnt care too much "its nice to meet you" she would offer to the lady in red. Sekai would chuckle a bit now that the man was up and seemed ok "I'm glad youre ok, you took quite a fall" sekai would look to the avariel now "I hope thats not how you usually like to land?" she would ask with a bit of a smirk before hearing more greetings now from one named Aurelia, Sekai would peek around to look at her "nice to meet you!"

[17:12] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) was silent she didn't know any of these people and wouldn't know how to start a conversation, she smiled now and then, nodded when she was mentioned and focused on her drink that after a few sips it was almost done "Aurelia....." she called looking up to the women she just met "Is there any place I can stay for a few nights until I finish to settle down? I might need a list of the No-go zones" she asked as she pushed her empty cup away "Someone maybe know what time is it?" she asked raising her voice so everyone could hear

[17:16] Lady Elizabeth Mont-d'Or (ValerieVixxen Resident) turned back towards Gavinox again as he revealed this, and was now even more confused. He was one of her citizens, and yet he knew not who she was. But she was more eager to teach him a lesson for his ignorance than dwell on it. "Lowah Abahwyth? You mean Haven. You....You are a Havenite..." she'd scoff. "An enemeh of Abahwyth, and of all decent folk." Reginald, by her side, would bristle up, his hand moving for his sword. "You are not welcome in my citeh. And you've plenteh of nahve coming he-ah. GUAHDS!" she called out, backing up and pointing towards Gavinox. "Remove this Haven monstrositeh!"

[17:17] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) smiles at Caroline and nods in understanding. The girl was new and did not wish to be near any sort of conflict. "Of course, Caroline. I'll arrange to have you at the Inn for a few nights while we find you a proper home. Unfortunately, the area we call home is rather booked at the moment. And, as you've just heard, it's best if you if you stay away from Haven. Tis best to keep out of trouble, I think. :"

[17:19] Taegen V'hoori (alyxz.marenwolf) wrinkled her nose as the man's finger pushed against the tip and she chuckled, " Its in the Library. I have it stashed!" she grinned, proud in her feat but the introductions and the mention of her amazing lands. A small rosy color came to her cheeks as she pulled her attention to the wild woman and she smiled sheepishly, running a hand through her hair. "Uh no." she lied terribly and fidgeted, "Just an off night." Wow Tae. She cleared her throat and turned back to the others in the room, eyes catching the other with wings and felt her feathers ruffle in response, smiling towards the woman. " Taegen, Owner of the Library and The Valesk Voice." she offered though with a glance outside, she saw the sun was just about setting and shrugged, " The moon will be up soon." she responded to the woman inquiring the time. Then this was about the time that Gavin would get into trouble... or kicked out of a city. Of course. Her eyes narrowed at the Red woman. " I highly doubt Gavin is fraternizing with those who took

[17:20] Gales Hawkblood stands and puts his arms around Aurelia. He didn't like the sound or the feel of the goings on in the tavern. Things were getting too agressive for his tastes.

[17:26] Gavinox: Turned as someone said he'd taken quiet a fall. "S'alrigh' Tae's landed worse." He mused and mostly to tease his friend but the moment he actually SAW the half naked girl color flooded his face and he had a moment of staring at her, looking away, looking down at her...well. then up at the ceiling! Oie! "Uuh um.. Nice to meet you too."

But the blushing Vampire went from flushed to startled. "Wots a Haven?" Ok so he wasnt fresh penny new but he was still new ish. Whatever. "I mean Lower Aberwyth. Ya know like where the Dens at and the trade tha' comes in? Peoples HOUSES?" They had a dock. "Ey?? Tha sounds like a disease I aint no Havenite." What the hell? He just stared at her. "Ya know ya jes aint righ' in the head...."

Who the hell was she? And who spoke like that?! "I am too welcome 'ere." And he stubbornly crossed his arms over his chest. He didnt do anything wrong he wasnt going anywhere. Hey it wasnt his fault he often had to be hooded and he blended right in! No one questioned it D:!

[17:32] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) chuckled a bit as teagan got all weird and fidgety "it was a joke" she would state wit ha smile before looking towards the woman who called for the guards "well arent you just quick to condemn somebody" Sekai would shake her head a bit, she wasnt sure she liked this fancy pants woman in red, as the man blushed at her Sekai would watch him curiously "you alright there?" she would ask him "you can call me Sekai" she would offer him and the avariel, and then more talk about the lower aberwyth so sekai wouldnt comment there, it seemed like a mess though that was for sure

[17:42] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods her head in greeting to Gerald, and greets him with a smile! "The tavern owner arrives!! This place has kept Helga running off her feet all day!! I hope you don't mind, but Gales took the liberty of pouring ale and leaving the coins out for you there."

[17:44] Gales Hawkblood Smiles to Gerald. "Yes there is some coin waiting for you. 3 meads and 2 ales. " He then turns to Aurelia and softly whispers something about how it may be time to leave and take Archie with them.

[17:47] )Lady Elizabeth Mont-d'Or (ValerieVixxen Resident) glared right back at Tae. "The rats down in Haven drive out any who do not sweah fealteh to that monstrous Ovahlady. So if he does live the-ah, he is a Havenite. If he does not, he is lying to the rulah of Abahwyth. Both are punishable offenses." she reminded the winged woman, about to call again for the guards when..He continued speaking. She looked confused again, before, without any warning..Started laughing a bit. "Oh my my my...He's jahst a /simpleton/. Veddeh well, dahling, veddeh well. Jahst don't cause any trouble. And avoid scaddeh folks weadding heaht badges. Don't do things they tell you to do." she'd say to him, before starting off. "Be safe, dahling. And /maybe/ try to get educated about whe-ah you live."

[17:50] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) shrugs to Aurelia, saying "Yes, here I am. Busy is good! Busy means we're making some money." he pats Helga's shoulder and tells her to take a break, then would shrug and nod to Gales "Well long as the payment's there, I don't mind if you gave Helga a hand. I did offer you a job, after all." he grins. On hearing Elizabeth's talk of the Havenites, he would laugh "Ach, yes, them guards they got down in lower aberwobby ain't the smartest lot. They think that carrying weapons actually means something." he shakes his head. Then again, he could punch with the same force he swing an axe.

[17:51] Taegen V'hooriTaegen V'hoori (alyxz.marenwolf) looked between the Red woman and Gavin a moment, sighing softly. " The undercity, Er' Lower Aberwyth has been taken over by a sort of dark sort of group.. buncha' thugs if you ask me. Dont you see the guards positioned at the entrance?" she asked, confused and almost a bit suspicious but she couldnt think of Gavin hurting a soul and tried to shake the feeling. A glance was given to Sekai as she introduced herself and she let out a small laugh, trying to clear the tension in the air that the accusations had caused but she felt the prying eyes of villagers, stopping and staring at the commotion. " Its nice to meet you, Sekai."

[18:01] Gavinox: "Simpleton?" He gave a snort then muttered half under his breath. "Least people can understand /me/ when I talk. Simpleton my ass." His face was blushing again but it was a different kind of embarrassment and mixed in was anger and the emotions of it all forced his pretty blue gaze crimson. It was time to go.

"Sorry Sekai...but I'm no'..it were nice meetin ya an' all but...I should go."

He tensed as the red woman still kept talking. "Can we get my hat Tae-Tae?"

[18:11] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) stood up and took a moment to fix her dress and her cloak as well as moving some of her rebels hairs.and fixing them to the side, she smiled at Aurelia and Gales "I' afraid, its time to leave" she said and turned to leave "Pleasure to meet you Lady Elizabeth" she bowed her head and raised her voice "Was lovely meeting you all" she said and began to walk out of the tavern.

[18:12] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) smiled to Taegen "nice to meet you as well" she would offer before hearing gavin "its ok" she would offer. Sekai would look to the two "Hope to see you both again another time, I think ill be heading off myself" and off she would go unless stopped (going ooc for a bit, thanks for the rp all))

[18:13] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) bows her head slightly to Caroline, having enjoyed spending the day with the very gracious girl. "Thank you for the meeting, Caroline! I do hope to see you about soon!"

[18:42] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont-d'Or (Alecksin Avora) would call out loudly and with a large tone of worry, his voice a little bit high pitched due to the excitement. "Geraaaaaald! Gerald-dear!" He squeaked, his heels click clacking as he practically pranced through the tavern and over to the bar, Ser Biku-biku lazily following after him with dull eyes as usual. "Gerald-dear! I need ze most hardest ahnd strongest of drinks you have, pet! Please, my good lovely fellow, something /dreadful/ has occured to me today!" He explained, the enchanted mask of his face frowning deeply with a grumpy, squinty expression.

[18:45] Gavinox: "See so I aint daft fer not knowin who she is." Which actually made him feel better because she'd made him feel damned stupid there for a little bit. "Well she aint my boss and she cant pay me enough ta think she is." He was actually grinning now though at the other mans words. "Ey yeh. Bettin ya hold more power with this lot." PEople did love their booze. "Night folks."

Gavin followed Tae easily. "Ey Tae, wots all this nonsense about Lower Aberwyth anyway? An' wots Haven? Aint a Haven supposed ta be a gud thing?" Was it someones awful sense of humor? Was he really a simpleton? Huffs.
[18:47] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) sees Alleo rush in and stands to introduce herself properly to the colourful creature. "Good eve to you! I've heard much about you, but have yet to make your acquaintance." She bows properly. "I am Aurelia, and quite pleased to meet you!"

[18:49] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) grins and bobs his head to Gales and Aurelia, saying "Well that's fantastic. As it's been, I've been the only guard of th' tavern. I'm sure my other employees can handle themselves... one's a fae, and the other... I ain't quite sure, but I got a feeling she's got hoodoo." he grins "Regardless, it'd be nice to have another brawler about." He shakes his head then to Gavin, saying "Nah lad, you ain't daft. I only know who she is 'cause she came in and introduced herself, ordered a bunch of stuff fer a feast. Including me to cook the food." he shrugs "Gotta say, long as it's cooking... she can pay me, I don't much care. I cook regardless." he chuckles. As Arad enters the tavern, he'd hum "Yer ma was here, Arad. She took it upon herself to try chasing my business away while I wasn't here." as he talks, he'd grab a glass and fill it with whiskey. Not the strongest drink there is, but one of the stronger ones in the tavern. He sets the whiskey on the counter, saying "Here ya go, lad."

[18:50] Allen Firethorn-Amaranth (allen.firethorn) stands and moves next to his love. "Good evening, sir!" He says to to the colorful man as he extends his hand

[18:55] Taegen V'hoori (alyxz.marenwolf) lead him to the Library and disappeared inside after their departure from the tavern. "Ive only heard a bit about them." she said, starts and shrugs, " Buncha thugs down there now. They raided the undercity and took over once the last Lady of Aberwyth left... and never returned. It was vulnerable." The elf sighed and shut the door behind them, reaching up afterwards to her necklace to disable the enchantment in it. The large wingspan at her back jerked in reaction and painfully began to revert back to their normal size. "Ugh... Ill never get used to that." Tae let out a breath before turning to the dark establishment. " Eliane must of went home... Aberwyth needs renovations. We are trying... Im trying to rebuild this place." Her green eyes scanned the dusty and empty shelves of the library. "Its sad. Here let me get the candles lit."

[18:56] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont-d'Or (Alecksin Avora) swung around for a moment, having previously bout to go on a long rant about something incredible mundane and simple that he was stressing about way too much, before noticing the shorter, golden and red-haired elf before him. "OH! Oh! Greetings, my Lady! It is a joy to meet such a lovely young lady in return!" He spoke with a wide smile, backing up for a moment so he could return an extremely exaggerated bow. "It is'ahn honor... What might your name be? Forgive me, I have returned to ze island only recently, ahnd though rumors of me have obviously spread about.... I have yet to hear of those others prominant." He apologized, before straightening to a firm posture. "Ah! Good evening to you too, my good man! I would love to hear your name as well.." He spoke, extending his own gloved (and flamboyantly golden-nailed) hand to firmly but politely shake that of the human, apparently used to such greetings. Finally he would look back to Gerald, blinking a couple of times before his expression dropped to
[18:56] something most embarrassed and humbled. "M-my apologies... I do hope she was noht trouble... Mother can be as harsh as nails if one gets on her bad side, but she /is/ a sweet woman, I assure you..." He tried, gulping a little bit as he peeped around, as if afraid she was listening. One dainty hand picked up the glass, bringing it to the masks lips before quickly chugging it down as if it was but water, before elegantly placing it back on the counter. "Mmm. Lovely, Gerald-dear.. You ahre certainly the True King of Valesk."

[19:02] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) chuckles a bit, and nods her head in greeting to the man with the skin similar to her own. "Tis quite alright...I have heard of you only through mutual acquaintances, including your mother." She smiles wryly and amusedly at Elizabeth's recent outburst. "No rumours, indeed. I am Aurelia, and this lovely human is my husband Gales. Somewhere nearby is Archibald, my guard...I am hoping he is not just finding his own ale." She looks around the room.

[19:06] Gales Hawkblood began to speak, but stopped when Aurelia introduced him and merely replied with "what she said" and smiled as he shook the the gentleman's hand

[19:11] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) nods his head to Arad, saying "While yes, I know she can be a nice lady most of the time, it's that time when she isn't one... especially in my tavern, which is to be a neutral place... well, gonna have to be some words had with her about that. She threatened one of my guests... with her position... that she pretty much gave herself." he raises his hands "Now I ain't meaning any disrespect... just... I mean, you'd be cross about such a thing happening to your business, too." he would then raise the bottle, asking "Need another drink, lad?" then would look to the others "And either of you want anything to eat or drink?"

[19:18] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont-d'Or (Alecksin Avora) looked between the pair with a strengthening expression of awe and adoration. "Oh! Lovers! How absolutely lovely!!! And, of course, are there pastries today? Tis why Gales is working here, you know, to keep me in pastries!" She laughs merrily, and places coins on the bar, as if she just assumes the answer will be "yes" to pastry requests. Turning her attention to the flamboyant man beside her, she replies, "Tis lovely to finally make your acquaintance, Arad! We have two homes here in Middle Aberwyth that are close enough to make a lovely estate...larger properties are more difficult to come by, so if you should ever know of any being constructed, I should love to be the first to know. We do indeed enjoy Aberwyth, and were here the other night to congratulate Gerald on his tavern! It is such a gift!" She smiled and sat down, still hoping there would be pastry.

THen, he would put the bottle loudly back down onto the bar, and would shout over to Aurelia "Just WHO do you think I am?!" his voice easily thundering, with his barrel chest acting like an echo chamber. He'd then smile "I'm the bloody baker, of COURSE there's pastries!" He laughs and would turn, snatching up some tarts. Stopping, he'd ask "What would you like? I've got apple, blueberry, and raspberry, oh, and cream."

I will happily begin from now on, keeping track of all construction projects and residential building plans zhat are being made. He said with click clack of his nails cheerfully together, before looking down at them with some more focus, and immediately remembering what it was that he was here to sob to Gerald about. "Gerald-dear!" He squeaked, starting to daintily click his heels around the bar, only to click back, pick up his drink, and then make the trip back to Gerald again. He then looked a bit confused, holding the drink in his hand, looking down at his left hand, before placing it down on the counter again. "Oh, I know you are zhe most patient, reasonable of men in zhis Island, Gerald dear, without a doubt... But behold!!" He began, carefully removing his clove to reveal... His equally painted (this time black) long nails, and many rings. "Look

I was juhst mihnding my own business really, trying to help Suzy-dear clean a table, when hark! Zhe table attacked me with a hard edge, and ruined my hard work! Spoiled it!" He explained. The nail looked absolutely fine, save for one tiny imperfection that could be seen from up close. "Ahnd I said to myself 'Why! Arad! Zhese table ahre dangerous! Zhey ruin nails, what might happen if a child cut zheir hand upon them?', ahnd zhen I thought... Why do we need metal-rimmed, platinum trimmed tables anyway? Zhey are a health-hazard! A threat to zhe safety of Aberwyth!! I need your ahdvice. Should I propose zhat all metal-rimmed platinum trimmed tahbles be made illegal, for the safety of our Citizens? Or should I have zhe table, zhe sole culprit of zhis crime, destroyed as a martyr?"

[19:52] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) laughs aloud, something the normally elegant Amaniel never does around those she hardly knows, but the impersonation was just so...perfect for the day they'd had. "Since you're the baker, we shall have an apple, a raspberry, and a cream. They are not all for me" She clarifies quickly, in the manner of one who will secretly eat all the pastries...because, well, that's all Aurelia eats. "And thank you, my dear Arad, for that! You are too kind!! "

[19:58] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) grumbles something at the praise of being level-headed... one of the few level-headed people in the island it seems, but still... something he doesn't see as much at all to be praised about... but then as Arad tells his tale of sorrow, the man would frown, and ask a simple "What?" as he looks down to the nail "Can't you just... Idunno, paint over it? I mean, if you jam your finger against any corner it's gonna damage a nail... 's what's called an accident, something that ain't nobody's fault, but happened by an oversight or just by chance. I-... wait, did you say this table was platinum trimmed? WHy would you trim a table in platinum? That shit's expensive." turning, he would snatch up one of each tart onto a plate, and would bring it over, setting it down in front of Aurelia, saying "Enjoy, miss." Because you don't get to be a baker for so long... without knowing... someone's gonna eat all the pastries themselves.

[20:04] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) thanks Gerald for the pastries and pointedly shares with Gales and Archibald, (who looks disinterested and wonders if he's going to have to be at this tavern all day when the man works here, or follow the woman even more boring places. Seriously, he's a guard, and there is never anything to fight.) "Arad, I do have a suggestion, as Gerald is right. Platinum is expensive. So, as to keep the tables but not ruin your nails, why not have your nails...done in platinum? You might even be able to enchant them!"
[20:07] Gales Hawkblood thanks Aurelia with a soft kiss playfully holding a piece of pastry in his teeth. He turns to Arad. "She does have a point. Smaller surface means less platinum to protect with."

[20:15] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont-d'Or (Alecksin Avora) seemed absolutely flabbergasted at Gerald's reply, breaking him from his previous "Oh don't mention its" and "Anything for a lovely couple such as yourselfs", staring at him with his mouth wide open in complete confusion... "W-why... Would I... Have it trimmed.." He tried, lowering his gaze as his eyes darted about for a moment, blinking hard as if trying to think of an answer as to why this made so much sense to him. It just did! What even was "expensive"? Platinum trim wasn't the most expensive thing he could think of, that would be Diamond, or Dragonscale, or that god-forsaken Etir... Slowly, he placed back on his glove, he picked up his drink, and silently moved over and around the bar with the common click clack of his heels, before sitting down on the stool as if highly troubled, holding the drink in front of him in a manner that could be equivalent to a person who had just been dumped, or was suffering a mid-life crisis. He perked up at Aurelia's idea when she had spoken, blinking away as if a
[20:15] ray of light had been shown upon him before looking down at his nails in thought..

[20:20] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) smirks a little at Arad as the man is utterly flabberghasted at such a simple question... and would watch as the man goes aorund the bar and sits on a stool, looking like he's three bottles in and searching for the answer written on the fourth's bottom. Never mind that writing on glass hasn't been quite invented yet, and it was all labels and we didn't have glue either, so the answer couldn't be on the bottom of the bottle... but never mind that. He figured that the idea of Aurelia's would help solve the man's crisis, and he would grin, saying "There you go, do what she suggested... and then everyone would be happy."

[20:24] Hayat (SchismaticFantasy Resident) walked with a hurried pace, the tap tap tap of boots clopping on the stones echoed out faintly like the hooves of an agitated, approaching horse. Silence followed an abrupt scuff as the woman stopped just outside the tavern. The woman stood beneath the sign with her head tilted up towards the sign. She exhaled sharply from her nose as she turned to step inside, brows pinched together in an expression of ebbing confusion. The clop of boots was muffled by the fur rug as she rounded the nearest table to sit in the chair in the corner. The woman hunched low with her elbows planted firmly on the table, cheekbones cradled in her interlocked hands as she surveyed the patrons quietly from behind the bronze ornamentations dangling about her face.

[20:27] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) wonders why Arad looks disheartened, when there is clearly a fabulous solution. Looking at Gerald, she says "I think Arad needs a hug, and a pastry. And more whiskey. He is sulking." Noticing the new and lovely decorated woman who walked in, she says, "Good evening to you!" with a polite tilt of the head.

[20:30] Allen Firethorn-Amaranth (allen.firethorn) nods to the woman who just came in and quietly eats his pastry holding his hand up to order another round

[20:33] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont-d'Or (Alecksin Avora) made a sniffling noise, finally coming to a close about considering the platinum coat on his nails. "It will require mahgic to remove... Buht perhaps it will be worth the effort to attempt.." He said with a slow nod. "Ohr.. Perhaps I cahn achieve this Alchemicaly.. Hmm..." He said with a tap to his porcelain chin, his eyes squinting in thought. He paused, peering over to the woman who had just entered before offering her a wide and joyful smile, bowing his head politely. "Greetings, indeed!" He could always notice a uniquely dressed woman. Plus, Aurelia gave her away!

[20:34] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) shrugs to Aurelia, saying "I can get him a tart and a refill... but I ain't gonna hug him. You can take care of that one, lass." he chuckles. Filling another glass, he'd pass it over to Helga who would bring it to Arad's table and set it down in front of him. Then as a woman walks into the tavern, he would wave to her, saying "Hello there, miss! If'n you need anything to eat or drink, feel free to ask." Then, as Arad pipes up about the methods behind the platinum nails, he would laugh "Ach, the lad ain't sulking, he's thinking. Looks like it hurts, too."

[20:38] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) looks thoughtfully at Arad. "The problem is, you'd need to know about the properties of platinum. Some materials do not hold magic, and though I could apply platinum with an alchemical bonding agent....well, tis no un-bonding agent for these things. If platinum can hold magic, then yes, your idea is possible". Aurelia is skilled in both enchanting and alchemy, though she has little opportunity to work with either, and now thinks this sounds like a fun project. Would Arad be THAT mad if he had platinum nails for life? He was already gold.

[20:39] Hayat (SchismaticFantasy Resident) nodded softly to the woman from the corner of the tavern and spoke softly, "Evening," her words softly accented resonating like the curling of parchment, carefully articulated as if trying to speak without one. The man whom had nodded to her would receive only a soft nod of her head in return, copper coins dangling from the chains of her face tinkling in front of her mismatched eyes. As the masked man spoke of magic and alchemy, her gaze would turn to survey the inside of the tavern. Only when he spoke to her would her attention return to the people, and she would offer a nod, "Evening," she repeated before looking to Gerald and grunting out, "I have no money," as she shifted uncomfortably in her fur coat.

Turning, he would grab a bowl and a plate, spooning some of his lovely beef stew into the bowl... nice and hot with squares of beef, as well as potatoes, carrots, onions, green beens, and various spices. He sets the bowl on a plate, and beside it he would put a dinner roll, and a slice of english cheddar cheese from a block. A spoon in the bowl, and he would carry it over with a glass of milk, setting the meal down at the newcomer's table. Moving back to the counter, he'd scoop up the coin and set it at the lovebird table, before heading back behind the counter. Is he the best of business men? Certainly not. But he tries.

The wolf was hanging around Archibald, apparently enjoying his equally grumpy personality. When he heard Gales speak up, and then the woman mention she had no coins, well, something in Arad seemed to perk, reaching into his robes and starting to pull out, one by one, his coin purses of various purposes. Not his work one, no. Not his expensive spending one either. He put

Finally he procured his minimal spending purse, clicking it open and prepared to pay about, but pausing when he saw that everyone else was already prepared to be generous. "Well, you all have suhch good hearts.." He said softly, folding it away into his robes. "I guess that leahves me in a pickle... Ah well." And one wondered why he bought platinum-trimmed tables all the time.

For a time, she simply stared at the food before her, a tongue of steam flowing upwards from the broth as she clenched her fists together at her sides. After a long pause, she lifted a hand to gingerly take the spoon, pointedly avoiding the meat as she quietly ate, avoiding looking up for a time.

I could barely see any problem with it. Then again, I don't do nails, I do breads, and I can spot an imperfection in a pastry within half a second of glancing at it." He clears his throat "Anyway... See, I'm having some trouble with some things that were said to me last night... among other things... I was questioned by one of my employees, miss Miryam... about my relationships, and I told her what I've always known... never have, ain't gonna, I learned that and got over it years ago... and she told me I'm wrong, and called me "beloved boss" before she left... Is she messing with me, or is this some girl code, or... what's going on here?!"

[21:32] Hayat (SchismaticFantasy Resident) had continued eating quietly as they spoke around her, spoon swirling the meat away into its own little portion so she would not accidentally eat it. She lifted the glass to her lips and took a drink before snapping her gaze back to the woman when she spoke to her. With a rushed gulp of milk, she said, "The jomoron desert," with some hesitation. When the man behind the bar spoke of needing opinions on girl things, she cut her gaze to him and arched a brow before tearing into the bread beside the bowl. With her wind-swept hair and over all rustic appearance, Hayat looked more like a wild animal, an assumption which wasn't too far off point. She chewed ravenously as she listened half-heartedly to the man behind the bar then exhaled sharply from her nose which she disguised with a small bout of cough.

[21:36] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont-d'Or (Alecksin Avora) crossed his arms, dipping his head as he listened. He went as far as to close his eyes, his brows furrowed in concentration as he imagined the interaction with Gerald. "... Waht was her tone when she gahve you zis title..." He asked, opening one eye to look at hi as he quietly took note of the newcomer's home area. He would look on over to her and offer her a warm nod. "Zaht is a harsh land. Your spirit muhst be strong as ever. Why, I do noht think I would lahst long in such a place, unless in a city of somesort.." He commented, before his attention zipped right back at Gerald. "But yes. Zhe tone, Gerald. Did she look at you with a specific expression? Let us play prehtend. I ahm Gerald, ahnd you are Miss Miryam..." He offered, immediately sitting upright and collecting his hands on the counter, trying to be feminine. This was no difference from his normal nature, so chances were no one would realize he was pretending.

[21:42] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) hums "Well, it was like... her expression was like a cat caught a mouse, wit' a crooked smile... n' her voice sounded joking, like... like if I told you yer ugly and you smell funny." he grins, gesturing to Arad. "See get it, because... I mean, all I see is a mask, and you smell like my spice rack. Frankly, I like the smell of my spice rack." he chuckles. Looking then to the woman off to the side, he'd ask "Ooh, a desert? What are deserts like? I hear they're hot, and they have seas without water..."

[21:51] Hayat (SchismaticFantasy Resident) regarded the masked man for a while before finally shaking her head softly, "No, probably not. There was a city, though. If you survive the desert to get to it," she looked to the man behind the counter and said, "Yes, hot often with few places with sweet water. My tribe ran along the sloping dunes though, evading the traders of flesh by reading the stars of the night." She had a far-away look in her eyes as she held a scrap of bread between her fingers, forgotten in her reminiscence of her people. Her voice dropped lower as she murmured with beneath her breath with all of the bitterness of failed potential, "but that is now only a memory." She stared down at the bowl for a time and felt her stomach knot as she moved to stand abruptly, "Thank you for the food," her shoulders hunched as she barreled towards the streets of the dim city, fur coat billowing out behind her with the soft clink of copper coins and that tap tap tap of urgent steps - running from the truth. "I zhink it happens more zhan you zhink." He replied, folding one leg over the other and adjusting his prim and proper posture in the stool, apparently still in character... Actually, not. "I notice how you behave around women, Gerald. I have known you a good while now, afterall. As your friend, I must confess... You ahre very blind when it comes to their approaches and ways of courting." He said with a cheerful, teasing smile. "She is bumping in you to get your attention, Gerald... If you do noht like it, why not speak to her about it?"

"But yes, zhis is obvious attraction and flirting tease to you... But Gerald, why ahre you so afraid of such zhings? Time moves on, people change with seasons.. To say enough is enough.. I do noht zhink zhat is fair to you.."

[22:19] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) shrugs to Arad, saying "I wouldn't call it afraid... I mean, I tried... and I made better headway bashing my face into a wall, because... eventually I got through the wall. I am not kidding on this, it was a wooden wall, and it took an hour or so. So... yeah." he shrugs "I figured I was better off just doing my thing and baking, and so that's what I did... and now I own a tavern and have fought many things bigger than me. I think it's gone pretty well so far."

[22:26] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) peeks her head in, because she had only been intermittently listening to the conversation, but something Gerard said caught her interest. "Gerard, you of course notice how I am an elf, but have wings in the way most do not...yet they are not bird wings?"

[22:44] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont-d'Or (Alecksin Avora) took a gander at said winged Elf, smiling off at her as he thought away to himself before his attention was brought back to Gerald. "Ahre you truly content with zhe way zhings are, Gerald? In zhe end, your happiness is zhe most important. Love and romance... Tis nice, but not necessary for a full ahnd complete life. You need to look in yourself and decide on your own terms..."

[22:46] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) looks over to Aurelia, saying "You're a... what do they call it... avariel? I thought those were bird wings... like... tiny, really tiny bird wings." Turning back to look to Arad, he would shrug. "Well, I've always been perfectly happy. I bake, I serve drinks, sometimes a fight... nothing clouding my mind or making things hard. I just don't know about... that... I mean, how could I?"

[22:51] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) looks at Gerard, tilting her head. "No, I am not Avariel. I belong to a rare and blessed race of elves called Amaniels. We are given many gifts, but also wings, to bring us closer to the gods. That is neither here nor there, though. " She pauses, taking a sip of her drink. "The point is, these wings..there are ways to hide them, or to make them vanish completely. Before I came here, I spent much time in another land where my appearance was...totally human. Tis a very painful process. But you see, if you walk into me, I still feel it as if you bumped my wing. Even if you cannot see it. Tis called glamour."

[23:04] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont-d'Or (Alecksin Avora) would see utterly confused, lifting his hands in the air to show this. "What do you ever mean, Gerald-dear? How? It juhst happens, zhere is no reason to fight it when it does!" He tried, switching his legs over so the other was instead on top. "Do you think you ahre not capable to give someone enough time and affection? In zhat case, you simply need someone who is on zhe same page as you. Zhere is compatibility everywhere, Gerald. You are more zhan lovable." He looked over to Aurelia, frowning away. "Why did you have to hide such a nature from others? Zhat is horrible, zhat you might have been mistreated for something you could not control..."

[23:07] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) hums at Aurelia, and would ask her "But I would be able to feel it, right? If I bumped into your wing, I would know something is there, and your disguise would be useless... though your wings are quite small, so... little chance of that happening." Looking back to Aradhelon, he would clarify, saying "I mean how could I know if it is something I would want, having never gotten to that point before. I'm perfectly happy right now... would this make me less so? More so? I can't say, but... I'm not too keen on changing my status... mostly because I would have no clue what to even do."

[23:12] Gales Hawkblood chuckled a little "It's not a matter of knowing what to do. Or even looking for that matter. Just don't be afraid to let what happens happen. I did and I know I am better for it."

[23:12] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) looks at Arad and studies him closely. "Tis a very complex story from another life. Here, though I am free" She shrugs, and continues her explanation, "Amaniels have a very close type of Elf cousin; where all things about us are light, this other Elf is dark. And their wings are made like .." She stops, and puts her hand together so her elbows are pointing out all the way. "This. So they take far more space, bump into people.. I do not know for certain when someone is one of these Elven cousins, but I suspect, as I feel chilled or even faint because they are enemies to my kind of people, even if they've done nothing. Tis not good or bad, to be either thing, tis just how we are made...and we are used to never letting others know. No, you would feel nothing..but one with a glamoured wing would be..jostled.. Annoyed, perhaps, after a bit." She nodded sagely, as if to herself, and stopped talking, as these were things she did not talk of. It was not proper, but Gerald seemed to be a bit less worldly.

[23:19] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont-d'Or (Alecksin Avora) placed his hand in his palm, his other hand supporting his elbow as he did so, thinking over Geralds thought dilemna. "I see. You ahre afraid of change. You are used to zhings zhe way zhey aere, ahnd fear that a different direction should upset what is now your norm.." He transferred back to the backer, before putting his hands down and on the counter again to fiddle with his glass. "Zhe reality of zhe situation, Gerald, is zhat life does not always go to our comfort. Yes, we can fight a lot of things, but for every bad change zhat happens, a good zhing could be right behind it. If you feel no spark, zhan perhaps zhere is no point to pursue such, but when zhings see to happen beyond your control, love, relationships, war, disease, it is best to not reject and go against every possible source of zhese zhings, but instead to accept zhey are a possibility, and deal with zhe when they occur." He tried. "As much as we claim to be masters of our own fate... Sometimes, zhis is not true. Do not be afraid of
[23:19] trying, Gerald. You may never know what you get." Aurelia's words hit a spot more than she could know, for he knew about 100 x more what it meant to be formed as something you could not mention to others, and had to hide. Even so, he simply gave her a slow nod, a sad smile spreading on his face." I zhink I understand what you speak of.. I have a similar dilemma, with my face. I cannot show it to any, out of fear of misunderstanding.. Or at least, I cannot show my smile." He explained with a sigh. "It is somezhing I cannot control... And yet it controls me ahnd my actions, potentially what people might think of me or assume of my nature... Ahnd thus, I must hide it behind a better face."

[23:26] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) hums "So... if I were to bump into a person's wings, I wouldn't know it... so... if that person's wings were strong enough to stop me... and they did so... but I didn't know it... then I would not realize I had been stopped? I would just be contentedly standing there? Or not know I had stopped at all?" he hums "Hoodoo is strange..." He would then listen to Arad, frowning softly in thought... that was also a good point, fearing the change to his comfortable routine... then again, she had since become part of the routine since she works also in the tavern. "Well, I mean... new experiences, I guess... I will watch and see, and... maybe give this thing a try... If it doesn't work out, it shouldn't hurt."

[23:38] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods at Gerard. "Exactly. Tis as if you do not wish me to go past you....so you extend an arm to block me. I am not strong enough, so I cannot walk through it. If I were strong enough, I would hurt your arm or at least there would be a block in movement. Now imagine that arm is invisible. I do not know why I can't move past, but I cannot...and you feel that I am pushing against an arm, but say nothing. That is glamour." She looked sagely at Arad, and nodded sadly, because she did understand. She wished Valesk was a place he could be free to show his true self too, and although she did not know exactly why he could not, she imagined there had to be a very good reason. There always was, usually survival, but it made it no easier. "Arad, I think the important part, no matter what, is that one's true spirit shines through. We both like the way things look beautiful on the outside....but tis your spirit that makes you find friends so easily. Many would envy that, you know."

[23:48] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont-d'Or (Alecksin Avora) brightened up at Aurelia's words, bowing his head deeply. "Zhank you, my Lady Aurelia. Zhat you would say something so kind of your observation of me... Zhat truly does mean something to me." And he was being honest. A creature of light called a creature of darkness's spirit something attractive and pleasing, if not comforting! That wasn't everyday that such was said. Still, he was a serpent in the end of the day, albeit a very lazy, docile and somewhat nondestructive one. How much of what she believed was truly just because of his instinctual nature? "Gerald-dear, I zhink zhat is a fair way to come to a conclusion on zhis. I do hope I was of decent comfort and understanding for you." He replied, finally downing his final drink. He could take quite a lot, it appeared, without suffering too ill an effect, though he was much more smiley and seemed to rock a lot more in his seat than before.

[23:51] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) hums "Hoodoo is indeed a strange thing... I wonder how many times I have run into glamoured things and didn't even realize it. How many glamoured windows have I accidentally broken through!? How many glamoured noses? This is something to think about." looking then to Arad, he would smile and nod, saying "Yes, Arad. Thank you for listening and helping me with this problem I had." he yawns "BUt now... I think I will be off to get some sleep. It has been a long day." With that, he would turn and trundle off to where ever it is he goes

[23:59] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) chuckles a bit a Gerald, and says, "Well, that's not EXACTLY it, but you have the general idea!" Turning to Arad, she nods her head. "You needn't thank me for such things". Aurelia had a gift for seeing people as they really were; the dark behind the light, the light behind the dark, and knew they could all get confused so easily. It made her more compassionate, her level of empathy, but also less trusting. It was necessary, if you empathise with all, to keep a safe distance, as well. Standing up, a bit wobbly from a long day at the tavern, she bowed politely. "Thank you, gentleman, for a most pleasant evening. And I am so glad Gales shall be here more often now."

[17:14] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) looks up from his work, sketching small symbols into his ledger as he hears a voice ask about grog. Seeing the Orc, he would hum "Haven't seen an Orc in some time." he then shakes his head, saying "Grog? No. We have many ales, most of them much better tasting... but a mix of rum and sea water? We do not carry that."

[17:15] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) flutters in, bowing politely to the lovely stranger, and giving a smile and tip of the head to Gerard, so as not to interrupt them.

[17:17] Dura Urzoth (lylanni.raynier) crosses her arms underneath her chest and stares at him for a moment. She doubted the swill they served here would be enough to get her good and sloshed. She pulls some coins from the pouch at her waist. "Give me strongest." She didn't know what that would be, but it had to be better than nothing. She looked over at the winged elf and had visions of tearing off her wings before she shook her head a little. She was trying to make a new start, and trying to behave...be ...-nice-. She would lift her chin only once to the elf as though a greeting but says nothing as she goes back to staring at the male behind the counter.

[17:20] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) grins and bows his head to Aurelia as she enters the tavern, saying "Hello, miss Aurelia. If you want anything, do speak up." He'd then turn that grin to Dura, saying "Well lucky you, I just got back earlier from the docks where some ships had new ales to buy." turning, he'd grab an ornate stone jug, which he would use to fill a glass with a clear, slightly amber tinted liquid. Really, it looked a little like piss... but it smelled like paint thinner. Turning, he'd set the glass on the bar, saying "Here ya go, lass."

[17:25] )Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) smiles at Gerald, and says "Quiet night for once, finally!! And if you've any strong whiskey left from the other night, I'd be much obliged! Tis a long day!"

[17:25] Dura Urzoth (lylanni.raynier) gives him a scowl as she sees the liquid, thinking as well that it looked like piss. If he was serving her piss she was going to be highly irate. She takes the mug and looks down into it dubiously before sniffing it. As she gets a whiff of the strong liquid, a grin spreads across her lips and she lifts the mug to the man. "Good."She simply says before tipping the mug back and slamming the entire thing, some of the liquid dribbling down her chin but she doesn't seem to care too much. When she's finished, she slams the mug back onto the counter and wipes her chin with the back of her hand. She tilts her chin up to the man. "More." She pulls more coin from her pouch for him. She watches the winged elf carefully, mistrust clear on her face.

[17:29] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) nods to Aurelia, saying "Yes, ma'am." as he snatches up another glass and fills it with whiskey from a tinted glass bottle. After setting the glass on the counter in front of Aurelia, he'd then refill the orc's glass, saying "Don't down it too fast... it's dwarven stuff. The kind that'll hit you and knock you on your ass in about a minute."

[17:30] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) stands up to greet Caroline with a courteous nod of her head. "Good eve to you! Shall you join me in a drink? You must have...not bee spit." She laughs merrily. The Orc, or what she believes to be an orc, as she's not seen one before, makes her blood run cold, but she does her best to be friendly as she always is.

[17:32] Dura Urzoth (lylanni.raynier) laughs at the male's words. She'd wave a hand dismissively at his warning and take the mug again, downing only half of it this time, again wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. She narrows her eyes as the other woman walks in, sniffing the air as if that would tell her all she needed to know about the newcomer. She looked back to the man behind the counter. "More orcs here?"She asks, she wasn't sure if the people of this land even knew what an orc was. she hoped there were more of her people here but she'd not run across many since leaving the cold north.

[17:33] Caroline de La Tour (MeileenPrincess Resident) made her way to the Tavern barefoot as usual her cloak was covering her face and part of her body and arms...she nodded to Gerald the man she met yesterday as she made her way through one of the tavern arcs, she noticed someone else, someone new to her as well she would greet with a nod of her head and turned her attention to Aurelia "Greetings" her face showing a big smile "I shall join you" she said and with a slow peace made her way towards the table and sat down on a chair "No much honey...please, or I'll probably die" she laughed as she fixed her cloak after sitting down

[17:37] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) bows his head to Caroline as the woman enters the tavern, saying "Hello and welcome, call if you need anything, miss." He'd then shrug to Dura, saying "Well if there are... I haven't seen them. Might wanna check lower abberwobby, that's where they'd probably hang out. From what I know about Orcs, they don't like being up in high places like this tavern."

[17:42] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods in agreement. "I can honestly say I've not seen an orc around Valesk since I arrived, though I do know some exist. Many were wiped out during the blight; we lost a lot of people during the dark times." She smiled at Gerald, "And a second whiskey for Caroline, if you please? Seems she did not like Gales' bee spit a...whit."

[17:43] Dura Urzoth (lylanni.raynier) shrugs at the man. She wasn't exactly your typical orc, but she had no idea where this lower abberwooby place was. She would nod at him anyway, however and finish up her drink. Scowls at the woman's words, what was this blight she spoke of? "Blight is plague?"She asks in her broken common tongue. Trying to make sense of the strange isle.

[17:45] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) bobs his head to Aurelia "Aye, it was bad... too many lives..." then looking to Dura, he'd shake his head as he fixes a whiskey for Caroline, saying "Nah, the blight was... well, a plague on the earth. Creeping darkness that killed everything it touched. The animals fled, the air grew cold, tainted creatures surged out o' the woods... it was bad."

[17:47] rCaroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) listened and nodded in agreement "I have never seen one either" she commented but again she was pretty much kept captive, she has yet to explore the world, she smiled a bit "is not like I didn't like the bee spit, I'm sure is good but I tasted way more sweet for me, cons of being me, I guess" she shrugged and waited patiently for her whiskey entertaining herself with the candle light again

[17:52] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) chuckles at her friend, and passes Helga some coins for drinks for herself and Caroline. "Tis not just you, my friend. Archibald can't take the bee spit, either" To which, Archibald nods and grunts, wondering why these people don't drink proper, "Indeed, the blight was awful...food was scarce, illness everywhere, best keeping to yourself at that point. Of course, that's when I arrived, and passage was rough. The Isle had...moved." She remembers this, as a story that happened to someone else.

[17:55] Dura Urzoth (lylanni.raynier) frowns when Gerald explains the blight to her. She'd never heard of such a thing. The Shamans of this land must not be doing their rituals correctly to let something like that happen. "Spirits unhappy."She says simply and slams the rest of her drink again. "She looks over to the other women as they talk about the plague. "Shaman no good."She says bluntly. Did humans have shaman? Probably not but they should, then the blight wouldn't have happened. At least in her opinion anyway. "Where Abwobly?"She asks Gerald, completely butchering the name. She would have to learn to speak better common if she was going to stick around here for any length of time.

[17:58] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) brings the glass of whiskey over and sets it on the table for coraline, saying "Here you go, miss." before turning and heading back behind the bar. He'd then answer Dura, saying "Go down the stairs... then down the other stairs... and you'll find a cave in the side of the cliff. That there is lower abberwobby. WHole town in that cave... it's a big cave." he grins "Right now, you're in upper abberwobby, this is where you'll find the tavern, library, warden's guild, and the countess' estate."

[18:04] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) listens to the new arrival and nods sagely. "You are right. Twas a matter in the spirit realm, and many suffered until we were able to summon the Goddess of the Isle for assistance. Thank goodness we've all made it through those times, though, and are the stronger for it." She sips her whiskey and replies, "Thank you kindly, Gerald...always lovely here". To the woman, she replied, "He means Aberwyth, the name of the city here, This is upper, in the middle, people have homes, and then closer to the water is Lower Aberwyth. Tis much hustle and bustle there. He was saying it was an area the Orcs once frequented, but it's also where you can buy all manner of things."

[18:07] Dura Urzoth (lylanni.raynier) arches a brow. She didn't know what Countess meant, but that sounded like coin to her. Perhaps she'd have to check that out at some point. "Glok'tar."She would say, her clan's word for thank you. She had learned much in the short time she had spent within the tavern. She would nod at the winged elf and her explanation of where things were. She mostly understood what she was saying. "Glok'tar" she would say to her as well. See? She was doing well, she hadn't smashed anyone's skull yet and she even said thank you...twice. The world was coming to an end. Abruptly, obviously not knowing social protocols, she would turn and walk out of the tavern, finished with her drinks and getting her information.

[18:09] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) bobs his head to Aurelia, saying "Aye, what she said. Thank you, miss Aurelia." he grins, then would wave to Dura as she leaves, saying "Have a good day, and do come again." Looking then back to Aurelia, he'd grin "SHe was a nice orc, don't you think?" as far as orcs go, the woman seemed to be a saint.

[18:10] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) smiled as Gerald approached with her drink "Thank you" she said and listened to the story with attention since she was pretty new to it all she would take a sip and taste it remembering the flavor before swallowing "That story hears very interesting" she said and turned towards Gerald again "Do you happen to have something sweet today?" She asked him before turning towards her friend again "I might go find a place to stay while in land later" she commented as she saw the Orc leave "I though Orcs were a bit more aggressive"

[18:14] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) laughs with Gerald a bit, saying, "Well, she didn't try to eat us, so it puts her a step above Elka, at least!! " At Caroline's words she perked up, "Ooooo!! Pastry?" Aurelia didn't actually often eat food or anything like that, as she was quite small and often forgot she was hungry, until she remembered pastry. "Caroline, if you'd like me to go looking for a proper place with you, I should be delighted to help. Np use staying in the inn forever, though you're close to the pastry!"

[18:15] Dura Urzoth (lylanni.raynier) looks right and then left, frowning as she sees the stairs and heads that way. She didn't know if this was the right way to go, but she couldn't be more lost than she was now, so it really didn't matter.

[18:17] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) smiled "I rarely eat anything though it seems unfair landers have all that amazing looking food" she laughed "I might as well try it once...maybe i don't even like it" she said and took another sip of her drink "I think of like this Whiskey" she made an approving sound as she took another sip and dragged the cup to the center of the table

[18:17] )Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) bobs his head, saying "I am the baker, miss... so yes, I do have sweets. Tonight, I have some cookies. They are raisin and oatmeal. For those who doin't like healthy treats, I also have some cake still, white wine cake." he grins "If either of you would like some, just ask."

[18:23] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) frowns at the healthy cookies, because she does not think cookies should count as pastry. They are healthy and just....food. But cake!! The rum cake was so delicious she accidentally ate two of them and hoped nobody noticed. "I would absolutely love a piece of white wine cake...that sounds divine! " She looked at her friend, asking the meaning of life. "And what do you think? Cookies or cake?"" Her amethyst eyes danced merrily.


[18:25] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) made her way into the tavern, Sekai would look about a moment, there were far less people here now. Sekai would look to the winged woman "I met you just yesterday did I not?" she would ask with a smile before turning towards the other at the table "I believe I saw you as well" Sekai was glad to see familiar faces, even if she didnt know them that well


[18:28] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) frowned "Oh....I think I go for the cake as well though I would like to try one cookie" she shrugged and took another sip of her whiskey noticing it was almost over "And another of this" she pointed her almost empty cup when the presence of someone else distracted her, she examined the woman that just entered and smiled "I think we saw each other yes....But we didn't talk much, I'm Caroline, very nice to meet you" she introduced herself politely

[18:31] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) bows his head to Sekai as she enters the tavern, saying "Hello there, miss, and welcome to the tavern! If you want anything, feel free to ask and I'll see what I can do." Turning then, he'd grab two plates, on one putting a slice of white wine cake, and on the other plate putting another slice of cake, as well as an oatmeal raisin cookie. Taking the plates over to the table he'd set them down, saying "Here you are! Enjoy." before turning back around and heading behind the bar

[18:34] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) graciously bows to the woman who'd entered, the one who'd helped poor Gavin and tolerated Lady Elizabeth's snubs. "Indeed, you did meet me, the day the tavern was quite in chaos. I am Aurelia, though it's quite alright if you just remember I am the gold thing with the wings." She smiles with amusement.". You're quite welcome to join us if you wish." She tilts her head appraisingly, then thanks Gerald with another delivery of coins to Helga. She really should have a tab in this place!! "Thank you, my friend! Gerald is the best baker in Valesk, hands down!" she laughs, before stuffing her little golden face with cake.

[18:39] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) looked towards caroline as she spoke "pleased to meet you Caroline, you may call me Sekai" Sekai would then turn towards the man behind the counter "ill take some warm mead with cinnamon please" Sekai would smile to the man before turning to Aurelia "Yes I think i remember your name, things were so crazy then it was hard to keep up" she would chuckle a bit as she moved to sit beside them "thank you. its nice to come and relax for a bit since there's not chaos about now"

[18:43] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) couldn't help but laugh at her friend introduction, she shook her head with a smile "Thank you" she said to Gerald once both her plates were on the table "This looks amazing" she said and with the tips of her fingers grabbed a piece putting it inside her mouth she took some time again to taste it and then swallow. She nodded once Sekai got closer and sat down "Sekai, it is then" she smiled "I have to say I was a bit lost indeed, so much going on"

[18:53] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) bows his head to Aurelia, saying "Thank you kindly, miss Aurelia." before fetching a warm cinnamon mead for Sekai. It would take a minute for him to warm it up right, but once finished he'd set the mug down in front of the woman, the steam rolling gently off the top. "Enjoy, miss... Sekai, was it?" Then to Caroline he'd bow his head "I hope it tastes better than it looks." Turning then, he'd head back behind the bar and start wiping donw the counter

[18:55] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods to Sekai in agreement, "Indeed, that day was rather crazy....so many people in the area, all at once, and of course always some sort of brawl happens when too many people are in one small space". She pauses a moment and sips her whiskey, before looking at Caroline and Archibald. "Seee!! This lady likes the bee spit, as well" she remarks teasingly., as she bows her head to Gerald in thanks. "Cinnamon mead actually sounds quite delicious...I shall remind my husband of it for the next chilly day."

[18:58] Kasdiya walks up the steps toward the tavern. The undercity is nice and all but she still preferred the quiet tavern. Though as she neared she saw that it didn't seem so quiet today. She considered turning back but decided to that wanting of ale out weighed her wanting of solitude. Going over to the bar she climbed on to a stool giving Gerald a nod. "Hello again, an ale if you don't mind."

[18:59] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) took the three coppers from her coat, handing them to the man as he sets her drink down "thank you" she would state with a smile "and yes, Sekai" she would then look towards the others "I am used to the Tavern accumulating a large crowd but not one so energetic" she would laugh a bit, as she made the remark of bee spit Sekai would take a sip "its good stuff, you should try it" she would state with a nod before sniffing out a new scent "evening" she would offer the drow before turning back "so what to you both do in your free time? Just come here, eat cake and drink?" she would say teasingly with a chuckle before taking another sip of the mead "its wonderful sir!" she would comment to the man

[19:02] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) bobs his head to Kasdiya as she enters the tavern, saying "Hello, miss Kasdiya." turning, he'd fetch the requested ale and set it down on the counter "Here you are, miss." Hearing the compliment from Sekai, he'd grin to her and bow his head, saying "I'm quite glad, miss Sekai."

[19:05] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) nods "Sounds like fun to have so many people in one place but everyone thinks different so, there will be always something going on, maybe a bit of drama too" she said and ate the cookie she had on her plate and laughed "Oh....again Is not that i don't like it" she rolled her eyes and nodded "But yeah..Gales might like it" she raised her voice just enough for Gerald to hear "Can you please help me out with another Whiskey, Thank you" she said and gave Helga some coins she had from earlier, she heard steps coming from outside and bowed her head as greeting before turning her gaze to Sekai "Not really, but it seems I'm making it an habit" she laughed "I do it to get to know people being new and all, I think this is the perfect place for that" she explained "The cakes and the drinking is a plus...a good one though"

[19:08] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) laughs in amusement at Sekai's comment. "Yes, indeed, tis pretty much what we do at the tavern, though we did indeed have a drinking contest and even arm-wrestling one night. Often we chat of more serious matters, but since Gerald here has taken over the tavern, things are quite merry. We find it a respite from our daily lives." She smiles, having charmingly evaded giving information about herself of any consequence. Archibald, meanwhile, snorts disdainfully at the reappearance of the bee spit, and goes to leave the women to their nonsense and stand by the pretty one at the bar. He is pretty much the worst guard ever.

[19:11] Kasdiya reaches her slender finger into her left boot and pull out a small pouch. Producing six coppers, which she then lays out on the bar, the pouch is slipped back into its place and she picks up the ale. After a long pull from her mug she turns to the table of women with a curt nod in greeting. Attention turning back to the drink in front of her she take another sip before asking Gerald. "Things been going well I hope." She hardly acknowledges the guards presence giving him a once over before turning back to the owner.

[19:15] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) snatches up the bottle of whiskey and would hand it to Helga, who bustles over and would refill Caroline's drink. "Careful" he'd call over to them "If you get drunk and too rowdy, I'll have to dunk your head in the well!" he chuckles. Looking back to Kasdiya, he'd bob his head "Business is booming, folks are coming and going at most hours now, buying whatever... just got some new shipments from the docks... what more could ya ask for?" he grins

[19:17] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) shrugs "conversations are one thing, avariels landing on people, noble women calling guards, I think the only left would have been somebody passing out from drinking too much" she would smirk a bit "I dont drink often myself but as it gets colder I tend to drink more, and warm mead is the best way to warm up i'd say" Sekai wouldnt speak again towards the drow for now, she didnt seem like the social type, then again she didnt know a drow who was, as the man spoke of getting drunk Sekai would laugh "that would be an interesting site. You sell stew here?" she would ask the man, this drinking and conversing was making her hungry! she knew she should have eaten more deer before coming out

[19:23] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) laughs, and does not mention that she herself had almost crash landed on the Tari's head the other day, and she found it quite amusing, though her wings were much smaller. Turning to the bar, she said, "Archibald, get back here and just find a seat, please." She bows her head at the woman seated at the bar. "I apologise for the trouble, madam, he gets restless". Her ears perk up a bit at talk of shipments from the docks. "Gerald, has anything lovely and exciting come in on the ships recently? Tis always fun when new things appear in Valesk!" She laughed at the image of the women having their heads dunked, as the poor baker wouldn't stand a chance of not being accidentally hurt in the attempt.

[19:26] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) laughed "Not getting drunk....the next thing I'll order is more cake, thats for sure" she said and resumed eating her cake off the plate "I might have a thing for white wine now though" she said as she pushed the empty plate away "I would really like to see a drunk women fight" she fixed her gaze on Sekai "So.....What do you do in your free time? You have been here long?" she asked as she didn't know anything about her. she saw Archibald and tried to not laugh as it was almost funny the whole situation.

[19:28] (Unnamed)(Unnamed) Vierayne: walks slowly to the tavern entrance. She leaned against the door frame and looked in over the group inside. A slightly pensive look on her face. She remains still for some time watching. Her eyes dart around on the things inside the tavern along with the patrons. She looks at the female Drow inside and sighs. Feeling the need to intervene with urgency. She calls out inside "This is where the blood will boil! I saw it! I did! In a dream last night! This place is going to be attacked by a rebel group everyone slaughtered ...blood stains the floor ...then this place will be burnt to the ground!" She hoped her excited cry of warning would help save a few lives.

[19:30] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) laughs to Sekai "Stew is tonight's dinner, lass. Lemme get you a bowl." WIth that said, he would! A nice bowl of steaming hot stew, with cubed beef, carrots, potatoes, onions, and green beans. He sets the bowl on a plate with a dinner roll, then would hand it off to Helga to bring the plate over and collect the pay, saying "Enjoy, miss Sekai!" to Aurelia's question, he would shrug, saying "Well, one of the sailors did try to pawn some monkey idol with ruby eyes off on me... buuut naw, I ain't gonna buy none of that. I don't like no hoodoo, like hell if I'm bringing it into my tavern." he chuckles. As Vierayne comes in and shouts her warning, he would look to her, and... shrug. "Yeah, happens every month like clock work. In the mean time, wanna have a drink, lass?"

[19:32] Kasdiya watches as the guard is recalled and shrugs. "Wasn't a bother really." She laughs out loud at the mention of dunking the other women in the well. She quickly stops her laughing and puts a hand over her mouth as her laughing turns to a chuckle before stopping. Clasping the mug with both hands she drinks from it as if it were water. With a satisfied sigh she replies to Gerald. "Well thats good to hear, interesting to see someone being so positive." She would slide her now empty mug toward the owner. "Grog please." She had her one ale today, time for the cheap stuff. The woman cries of warning took her off guard, immediately she turned on the stool to see who was saying such things. Her eyes wide she took in the site of another drowess. Her head canted to the side waiting to see if she would explain further.

[19:38] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) freezes at the words. Another vision, another tale of a future that was an apocalypse. What was happening? She feared for the future, but the Drowess who yelled the prophecy disappeared before she could even make up her mind whether to attempt to see her vision. Aurelia's golden skin suddenly went slightly pale, no matter how hard she tried to look composed. Holding out her glass, she said, "Another whiskey, please, before the end of the world?" She suddenly feels cold and light headed and the merriment leaves her. "I.....something is not right today."

[19:40] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) chuckles at the situation with her guard "you should put him on a leash" she would tease before looking towards caroline "haha, that would be interesting. I do a lot of things, none that I'd prefer talking about at this moment though" really she didnt want it being advertised that she was the alpha, especially since many didnt even know her predecessor had died "I havent been here too long really, but it feels like forever, this place has too many secrets" she would state wit ha smirk before turning her head towards another drow who spoke of what she assumed to be a dream or a vision of people being killed here, Sekai would shrug a bit "Id love to see someone try to hurt me" she would state simply, sekai was obviously not worried. As Gerald explained that was tonights dinner Sekai would smirk "hey now I dont know these things, its not every day I eat at a Tavern with nice ladies and a handsom Tavern keeper" she would state with a smirk as she took the bowl "i'm sure I will" Sekai would then hand him the 7 copper in exchange, listening to him speak of hoodoo "I hear that, I get goosebumps when I see stuff like that" as the drowess at the bar laughed and caught herself Sekai would smirk "hey id laugh too" as Aurelia got upset about the drowess and her cry for help Sekai would look to her "look i dont know that drow or if she was telling the truth or not but theres no need to worry about it till it happens, if it happens, enjoy yourself and deal with things as they come"

[19:46] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar)Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) raises a finger, asking "Hold up... is this the full moon tonight? That... might well explain the problem." as he waits for an answer, he'd fill a mug with.. grog... making a face as he sets it on the counter, saying "If you're sure, lass." With Helga bringing yet more coin back and dropping it into the till, he'd grin to the barmaid, saying "Some good business tonight, eh?" reaching down, he'd grab his axe and prop it up against the bar, grinning "Just in case... make sure I've got somethin' within easy grabbing distance to hack away."

[19:49] Aldrich (Lord Pennent) was trudging across the forest floor as he was sniffing. Last he had known he was taking a nap with the alpha, well at least he was the one napping. When he awoke she was gone. So naturally he followed his nose. He treaded across the forest as her scent brought him to cobblestoned roads. Oh how he hated cobblestone! Cobblestone was the cornerstone of civilization, but this was the path she had walked, so he trucked forward. He would finally find himself marching towards a tavern as to his pleasant surprise not a lot of people were in town right now! As he grew closer it did not take a keen huntsman to hear his approach, his steps were thunderous rounds of noises that not even 20th Century Fox could recreate to show the gravity that was the weight of this wolf! He would turn the corner as he finally spotted her! Naturally he would call out to her, but given how their tongue sounds to the natives he felt it best that he let his presence do the talking!

[19:55] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) was focused in her drink having finished she was now playing with the empty cup, she had stopped talking and remained silent and only listening, she'd smiled when Sekai explained nothing but what seemed enough and just nodded "Fair enough" she whispered before going mute again.

[19:57] (Unnamed)(Unnamed) Vierayne: shook her head wildly after she popped back from around the corner of the building "NO! I cant come in there.... " she looked at the big mountain of a man Gerald "I dont even think you and that axe will keep my head on my shoulders" she continued as her eyes went to the female that said something was not right. "No... the stars weep with worry for the blood to be shed.... they cry out in vain and the Moon just watches silently..." she furrowed her brow "I care not if you think yourself immune! But I will say this ..I have yet to see something that cannot be cut down... if it bleeds it will find an end ... by blade or by fire... it will be swallowed by shadow" her voice sounded almost grim. "But this fate is not written on stone but in sand... but I don't think I will risk my fate in there by a blade." She turns hearing something lumbering behind her and lets out an unholy scream. She was obviously worked up and this was not a normal behavior of a drowess to scream to show her fear.

[19:57] Kasdiya was still staring at the drowess who made the claims waiting for further explanation. She absently reached into her boot once more and pulled out a copper reaching back to put it down. Kas might be new here but no matter where she was she wouldn't ignore a warning of death. She looked back to Gerald at the mention of having something to 'hack away' with. "Do these types of thing really happen so often?" Her head snapped back toward the streets as she heard the approaching footfalls. Her eyes widened a fraction at the size of the beast but her lips quirked up to one side. So very interesting.

[19:57] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) looks a bit dazed. "Tonight is...the full moon?" She can't remember why she always forgets. Last time there was a full moon...blood spilled....Gerald's blood was everywhere, and now he is as good as new. Could that be what they are speaking of? She feels strange, and as she stares at the candle in front of her, the flame in her mind's eye begins to burn, the tightly wound shield of protection keeping her . Aurelia whispers something, incomprehensible. She wants to warn Gerald, but can't find the words. She drinks an entire whiskey, trying very hard to clear her head. (Mage shield up.)

[20:00] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) looked to Gerald "no not the full moon" she would state, then Aldrich came up, great, so much for keeping them guessing. Sekai would stand, not even taking a bite of that awesome looking stew as she moved over to Aldrich "dont worry he wont hurt anybody, unless you attack him of course" Sekai would look to him curiously "what are you doing in the Aberwyth?"

[20:06] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar)Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) grins as he hears it is not the full moon, saying "Oh good. FUll moon would be bad. Reminds me, though, I need to prepare for that somehow." He'd then nod to Kasdiya "Every full moon, aye. That's why I keep this thing behind the bar." he gestures to the axe. "Sometimes you gotta bust skulls... even giant furry wolf skulls." Looking outside then, he'd see the massive wolf outside, and would frown, murmering "Hooly shit that's a big wolf... I thought I was big..." He nods then to Sekai, "If you say so, I won't grab the axe yet..."

[20:09] Kasdiya picks up her mug of grog and downs the whole thing without even tasting it. "This is getting to be a bit much, yeah?" Then turning to the woman they call Sekai she would call over to her. "You sure about that? He seems quite a bit menacing. Why not come in a more toned down form?"

[20:13] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) stood up fixing her clothing as she did "Alright, I'm afraid is time to leave" she fixed her cloak covering her arms again before placing the hood up "It was a pleasure to see you all" she said and headed towards one of the tavern's arcs to leave "Have a good night" she would say lastly as she place her hood up covering her face and walking away barefoot

[20:14] Aldrich (Lord Pennent) would wait until Sekai walked out towards him before he shifted towards her direction and looked down at her, "There is no castle of stone, and men dressed of metal. I have nothing to fear here.", he would say to her in their wolf tongue, which to the others would be just a collection of cackles, grunts, and the occasional snort. He would cane his neck down and look at her garb and cant his head, "Woke from sleep, cave was empty, came here.", he said simply. He would look to Kasdiya and let off a low snort as his gaze shifted to the others. He could not see those deeper into the establishment for his eyesight was elevated higher than the arch-ways, and on top of that the large ram's skull was also another visual deterant.

[20:15] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) comes back to herself after staring into space for a long while, "Good night to you, Caroline" She stands up and bows to her friend.

[20:21] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) looked towards them all, none reacted too badly at least. Sekai would notice Caroline head off, giving a dip of her head "safe paths" she would offer before looking to the others as she rested a hand on his leg, as that was about the only thing she could reach "well then sit down I suppose, I was conversing with these nice women while drinking and eating stew" she would state before looking towards Kasdiya, she guessed there was no reason to be all weird about it, anytime they saw him he would look like this "this is his only form" she would explain Sekai would chuckle a bit "sorry for the scare there, he was looking for me" Sekai was keeping things calm as best as she could, it was hard though, wolves were generally feared and hated

[20:27] (Unnamed)(Unnamed) Vierayne: Her surprised scream stopped as quickly as it started. "Lolth tlu malla Vith" she said agitated (Praise be to Lloth and some cursing) She had never seen a canine this big or wearing a skull for a mask. "No one is listening!" she then almost snarls "I will watch the earth drink your blood then as it will all be spilled from your flesh... but at least you had warning enough... Im just trying to change the course ... and prevent death..." she sighed wondering why she bothered... except for the other drowess she wouldn't mind watching blood spill.. She looked at the woman who stood next to the creature "Well lets hope he listens to you... Cause if he growls at me I'm defending myself..." she still held to the wall but readied a spell in her mind just in case. She didn't figure it would take more than three bites for him to swallow her so she would not let him get that close... She could only assume him unpredictable....

[20:30] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) hums "Well, long as he ain't here for the usual reason the wolves show up, I'm fine." he grins, and takes a swig from his flagon of mead that's been sitting to the side. Hearing Vierayne, he'd say "Like I said... not the first time, not the last. This shit happens every full moon. If it comes a bit early or late... not much trouble." he shrugs.

[20:31] Kasdiya furrowed her brow at the odd sounds the beast made. She watched as one woman left, her eyes trailing her for a moment. Sekai drew her back to the conversation. "Really then he is not like some of the others i have met that were able to shift. Interesting." Looking over her shoulder she would turn to Gerald. "I have yet to see the tavern so lively. How do you keep up with such occurrences?" She noticed the remaining woman spacing out and the drowess still under the arch way. "how odd." she would mumble under her breath. What an interesting rock, as she call the island, indeed. "Yes please have him sit and the two of you can stay a while longer. We can move to a table closer to where he would be perched if you like." While heading to the table she motions to the other drowess. "Please sit as well I would love to hear of your warning and what it entails."

[20:34] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) walks over to the woman giving the prophecy, but on second though, decided it was against her better judgment to probe much further. But she was listening. She could tell, from the walking, the sniffing, the path he followed that was not logical--the large being had come to the tavern seeking the Alpha. It was the way she'd seen them behave, following the Alpha,but Sekai said he was looking for her. This meant he had found...the new alpha? This was logical, but not something to be broadcast. Not everyone on the Isle even knew Elka was gone, and many of those who did believed it a hoax. Now she understood, she felt less like a crazy person. She could not prove such a thing, just strongly suspect, but her intuitive mind told her she was on the right path. "Apologies to all", she bowed politely to the assembled company. "I am afraid my friend I, we had too much whiskey, as Gerald warned me against.' She tilts her head in a respectful nod. "Lovely to meet all." She leaves some coins for Gerald, making a hurried and dazed exit.

[20:39] Aldrich (Lord Pennent) would immediately drop his weight. he plopped his butt straight onto the cobblestones. His lazy demeanor was evident in the way he carried himself. He would let out a yawn as he lapped his tongue. His fur on his arms, neck, and chest was tingling, vibrantly. He shook his head and groaned as he looked to Sekai and spoke, "I don't like drow. And I don't like magic. I don't like magical drow. Make it stop.", he said simply, letting her handle it, his version of diplomacy did not fit this current scenario. He would reach up and scratch at his neck with his claws as he waited for Sekai to speak on his behalf.

[15:58] Igo Falamer (Alecksin Avora) tilted his head, listening to her reply. OH, this was good. She thought he was a wolf! And from the sound of it, she was on edge. He took a few heavy steps forward, his boots loud and clanky and making the wood slightly groan below him. "Heh... So quick ta' sniff me out... Err' maybe assume. Takin any evidence yah can to be a little bitch to any'one you don't like.. Or maybe..." He spoke, stopping a bit in front of her. "You are just afraid... Yer' whole lot. How much longa' before you shoot jus' anyone for even smellin' like a god? You gonna' shoot the shrimp-mutt next after a few weeks, huh? Accuse em' of being a wolf pet? He sure' smell like one." He croaked, motioning to the Kobold. His eyes wandered over the Elves body, liking what he saw from how revealed she was. He even went as far as to bend a little, openly showing he was attracted to her without shame.
[15:58] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) flutters in, happy to see so many familiar faces! "Vedui and hello to all", she bows courteously. Tis busy at the tavern!

[16:01] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) wanders in to the tavern as she sees Rizzo about to leave. She gives him a friendly wave and nods her head to Aurelia and Gales. She takes a seat in the corner. She catches a bit of Igo's words as she wanders in and frowns. What was going on here? As Helga comes over to her, she orders a wine and places teh book she was holding on the table.
[16:06] Rianoc (Cathartic Resident) does not fall back, but straightens more, her body rigid as he comes stalking up to her. She inhales sharply at his use of the word bitch, and mutters, "Better than being a wolf bitch bent over on all fours." She grinned, thinking a jab at the old Alpha might rile him up. As he looks her over she runs a hand down her side and along her thigh, "Take a long look dog, this is as close as you will ever get to consuming the flesh of an elf with your lust." Her laugh rings out, but the person under the spell begins to edge towards the archways, her movements shivering a bit. "The Tari will not let the wolves be hunted down and then slandered after. I will find the hole in which your fetid fur sleeps and set it on fire, delighting in the whimpering of your pups." She prepares to take of running at full speed.
[16:14] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) nods to Aurelia as she sees her coming along with Gales, their scent familiar by now. She gives a small smile not saying anything. She stays in her place and listens the conversation going on between them and the mocking in between, frowning as she heard "set it on fire" and so other threats. She definitely wasn't enjoying the situation She would instead turn and walk slowly towards the back of the Tavern.
[16:15] Igo Falamer (Alecksin Avora) burst into loud, rumbly laughter, bending over and holding onto his gut as he did so. "Ohh ohoho! Oh! That's good, Elfy. Thanks' fer' showin us how elegant an' noble yer' kind really are! But sweetheart, jokes' on you.." He chuckled, straightening up and pointing to himself with his thumb, his smile showing even under the mask. "Come on then, yah cunt! Let's roll! Show me' how yah knife-ear fights!" He cackled, taking a few loud steps forward and starting to make howling, barking noises at her, which were painfully inaccurate to anyone who had even heard a wolf before.
[16:18] Rianoc (Cathartic Resident) doesn't wait for him to, in her mind since she thought him a wolf, shift. She ducks and whirls her way out of the tavern. As she pounds her boots into the cobblestones, taking off at a sprint, she yells back over her shoulder, "We will see you in flames!"
[16:21] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) is not certain what is happening, but sits at the table and says "If anyone is in need of anything, I am pleased to announce Gales is now helping work the tavern. Poor Gerald needed more hands. I do not know about you all, but I myself would like a whiskey!! If everyone would like to sit and chat calmly, drinks are on me!! No need for such tension today". Her smile fading, she whispers to Nadora in barely audible tones, "Vedui, my friend...what has happened?"
[16:24] Gales Hawkblood pours a whiskey for Aurelia and throws a few copper pieces into the appropriate bowl to cover the cost before taking it to her "Anyone here need a drink? I would be happy to abblige ya" he smiles hoping the flowing of liquor might calm everyone down
[16:24] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) frowns as she watches the woman flee. She wasn't entirely sure that lady was an "elf". She didn't behave like one of the Tari's court, that's for sure. Perhaps it was one of the elves she hadn't met. She looks over at the man who was threatening her then over at Aurelia. "I was just going to ask you the same thing? Did you recognize that woman? I've not seen her at the Tari's court before and I am there most days."She gets a confused look upon her face. Then pays Helga for the drink she ordered. She looks over at Igo again and offers him a smile, trying to ease the tension in the room. "Perhaps you would like to join us for a drink, sir?"
[16:31] Igo Falamer (Alecksin Avora) scoffed as she ran on, flopping back and leaning against the bar with a miffed exhale. "Wasn't even a wolf. Stupid' whore." He took a glance at the other elves, sending them a small wave and twiddle of his fingers. "N'worries, ladies. I ain't got nuthin 'gainst yer kind. Sum of m'brothers be elves. I just like tah piss off the pompous ones that be all talk n' no action, watch em' embarrass them'selves." To her offer, he simply gave a shake of his head. "I'm werkin." He replied straightly, before pushing himself from the counter and giving a stretch. "Maybe sum' other time, lassies."
[16:36] Caroline de La Tour (MeileenPrincess Resident) eyes slowly changed to light gray again after being almost black when she felt threaten. She blinked and relaxed once the strange woman left. "Okay...I would like to know what this Ale drink is....I hope is not sweet though" she said and went to sit next to her friend. "I have a bad relationship with overly sweet stuff" she explained as she sat down "I'm Caroline, Nice to meet you" She introduced to the blond girl she didn't knew. She listened and nodded as the man passed the offer to join them "Next time then"
[16:38] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods and talks quietly so that Nadora is the only one able to hear. "Did she threaten you, my friend? Indeed, I have seen her...just yesterday I retrieved a spell from her while she worked at the shop instead of Meri. At least it looked much like the same woman, yet totally different in demeanour. But twas not the first time. I'd seen her another time, in this bar, when Gales arm-wrestled her friend. Both the women were Drow, quite powerful, as I grew weak around the one claiming to be an elf...something that happens when I am faced with darkness. The stronger the darkness, the more difficult it is for me to keep my composure...and she...knocked me over like a punch." She looks a bit worried. "Perhaps she is a shapeshifter, but an elf of the Tari's court, she is not. You know even the newest elf frends at court have better manners. Emma would not allow such behaviour.". Raising her voice to a more cheerful level, "Caroline, do come join us here and I am sure my love will serve you all the bee spit you desire!?" She hands coins to Helga, and smiles at Igo, "Another time, then!"
[16:41] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) smiles a little at Igo and nods. "Of course, though everything is better with good company and a belly full of ale."She grins a bit and can't help but chuckle when she is mistaken for an elf...again. That was happening a lot lately. She takes a dainty sip of her wine and looks over at Caroline and smiles. "Nadora, it is good to meet you too." She nods at Aurelia's words. She suspected as much. If this "elf" was running around causing trouble it could be bad news for her friends. She didn't like the sound of that at all.

[16:42] Gales Hawkblood Brought Caroline a mug of ale and calmly placed it in front of her. "Anything for you m'lady?" He ask Nadora before he turned to head back to the bar. He then just dropped the coins from his purse into the proper bowl. Aurelia had said drinks were on her and that could mean him just as easily. He didn't think he should bother trying to write it all down. No one would be able to read it.... not even him!
[16:42] Igo Falamer (Alecksin Avora) started off without a pause, his eyes set on the distance as he passed under the arches and back into the winter-approaching outdoors. "Gun' have tah close off the tavern soon, or it be' too cold inside.." He mumbled, kicking up some leaves before passing by the fountain and blending into the crowd.
[16:44] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) Jingling armor announces the approach of Ephralia before she appears, running at full tilt into the tavern. As Eph comes to a halt and looks around the room like an eagle, two more pairs of softer, much softer, footsteps outside announce two more impending arrivals, evidently just a wee bit slower than Eph.
[16:50] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) spies Ephralia, and greets her with a bow, as Archibald greets Eph's entourage with equal respect. "Vedui, Malantur! How goes the day today? Can Gales get anything for you and your friends.?" Glancing over at Gales, she sees he is putting his OWN money in the till, and reminds herself she shall have to have a talk with him. [16:53] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) made her way to the tavern to see who was there, Sekai had heard of the message in town but she wasnt too worried about it. As Sekai entered she would smile "evening everyone"
[16:55] Gales Hawkblood smiles as more entered the room "G'd evening, ladies! How faire thee this evening? Is there something I can get for you?" there was almost a song in his voice as he asked
[16:56] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) turns slightly in her chair when she hears Eph entering and the woman behind her. "Greetings."She says softly. "Good to see you as always, Eph...Is something wrong?"She asked by the way Eph had run in, she hoped nothing was wrong with the Tari. She'd not met Sekai before but she offers her a kind smile anyway. "Join us for a drink?"
[16:58] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) huffs a bit, short on breath after sprinting from the Vale. "Well. Heard there was ... a disturbance, here! But .... no? Nothing going on untoward?" As Eph gives her few words, Emmaline's Royal Guards, Lorien and Hardiel, run up, taking positions flanking Eph.
[17:02] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) sauntered after Eph taking his time always being a one who wanted to arive late for a battle rather than becoming a late from a battle. he skulks around and looks for blood and or the elf and were thingie that were ....about to fight when he l ran off
[17:06] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) sees Sekai and Rizzo both come in, and bows to both in greeting!! "Vedui and hello, friends!! Sekai, should you like to join us again for.....cake and bee spit?" She looks in merry laughter. "Rizzo, welcome back, friend. You needn't worry, there was no fighting here. "
[17:10] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) nodded "of course!" Sekai made her way to the table to sit down looking towards the tavern worker a moment "might I get some warm mead with cinnamon?" she didnt know this one but hoped he was as good as the other, she would then turn back and introduce herself "I'm Sekai" she would offer those who didnt know her "how are we all doing today?"
[17:13] Gales Hawkblood pours a tankard of mead and tickles some cinnamon into it before bringing it to Sekai. Then he starts looking for the cake. "I know Gerald stashed it somewhere" he whispered to himself
[17:13] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) shakes her head a little at Eph. "The woman fled and the male left not too long afterward. She was claiming to be an elf, but her head was covered. She thought the male was a shifter."She didn't like the idea that the woman was going around causing trouble and saying she was an elf. She smiles at Rizzo. "Hello again Rizzo." She nods at Sekai and smiles as well. "Nadora, pleasure to meet you."
[17:15] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) turns to the guards, left and right, murmuring in crisp elvish <"Return to the Tari. I shall tarry here a while. Diole lle."> After that, as the elven guards turn on their heels and stride away, she grins and drawls folksily, "Aww, shucks! Ain't nothin' like showing up late to the funeral! - hullo, Rizzo...." Eph doesn't glare or anything, and seems at peace. She continues, "Sekai, nice to meet you!" Eph scritches her head, thinking this might be the second meeting, but continues on the others, Caroline first, "Greetings, milady! Vedui, Aurelia! Greetings, Nadora! Greetings, Sir Gales!"
[17:18] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) looks ashamed and shifts his foot ... he was going to need to hone his running away skills... he ran away at the first sign of problem "but..... me thought um..." he goes and sits on the floor where his plate of cold meats and half pint of mead. he sulks feeling a right twit and upsetting the elves for nothing. he looks down and sniffles at his food
[17:20] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) took a large sip of her drink, she was talking quietly to Helga. She would gaze towards Ephralia and nod in acknowledgment, she didn't know the woman so she might as well introduce herself "Greetings, I'm Caroline" She said simply before adding quickly "Someone has any idea of the hour?" she would frown at the though.
[17:26] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) finishes up her wine and waves to everyone. "Good eve all, I think it is time for me to retire."
[17:26] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) answers Caroline, "It's an hour before sunset, and my name's Eph! I'm the new blacksmith!" with a big grin.. Eph turns to Rizzo, and takes a jingle-armor step toward him, then kneels, saying firmly, "Rizzo. Heed my words: You acted correctly. If such happens again, do exactly the same." Once Eph is sure that she has made eye contact with Rizzo, she smiles warmly at him, then murmurs over her shoulder to Nadora, "Thanks for the information, Nadora." )
[17:28] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) gets up and flies over to where Gerald has stashed the remainder of the white wine cake from the other day, and with a bit of help from Helga, finds and has her bring plates and forks to the table.. She had never been a tavern-maid, but it looked like fun. "No, Rizzo, you've done a wonderful job!! It is a good thing that all the conflict is over. And come over here and join us!! We've got cake!" She smiles at Caroline, and says, "Tis early eve, just before dinner". (yeah, that's helpful. )
[17:29] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) looks to Eph and nods "me dont fight... me run...me sorry me will get facts straight..then...run for it"
[17:32] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) turned her head to the kobold who seemed to be pouting a bit, she had no idea what had happened as she spent her whole day in the den but she would smile "no sense in being all mopey, enjoy yourself!" she would state before looking to the armored woman "pleased to meet you as well, are you a guard around here or for another place?" Sekai would also take the mead offered giving him his coppers before taking a drink "so what happened here? what did i miss?" she would ask curiously
[17:47] Caroline de La Tour (MeileenPrincess Resident) would drag her empty cup across the table closer to the center where the candle was located. She liked how it looked. She cleared her throat before speaking "It was a weird situation, A girl with her face covered came and told us about an attack coming from Wolfs, she was pretty pissed off" she said and continued "She offered silver to whoever told her where they were hiding and went on and on about burning them down, pretty crazy if you ask me" she would explain in a generic tone without giving details about it "Someone else came and started mocking her about it..making her more mad" she added before going quiet
[17:49] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) nods slowly to Rizzo and then he scampers away (maybe crashed). (Strike Rizzo!) Eph stands up and bemusedly answers Sekai, "No, I'm not a guard ... Oh! The armor! I'm a Numinous Blade. That means I get in trouble so much, I need armor. Protection from the rotten tomatoes that get thrown my way! hee hee!" Eph does a jesters's dance step that ends in a bow. Eph then listens to Caroline, and softly remarks, "Outrageous, that! Ah, well, I missed it all as well. ..." and turns to Helga, "A wine, please, Helga."
[17:55] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods sagely "I was not here today, but seems a bit of nonsense has been going on. A woman claiming to represent the Tari began screaming hateful things to a man whom she believed a wolf, and he yelled hateful things back....and we know neither of them around these parts. Tis just people wanting trouble in the tavern, I think." She smiles her bemused smile at Eph! "Your money is no good here today, my friend! After the conflict, I told everyone who wished to have fun and be peaceful that drinks and cake were on me!" Looking at Sekai, she bows her head slightly. "I apologise for my rudeness; I forgot to introduce the new bartender here, my husband Gales....and he forgot to introduce himself because new people make him a bit nervous!" She smiles lovingly at Gales.
[18:00] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) looked towards caroline as she spoke Sekai would sigh and shake her head "no wolves are planning an attack, i can guarantee that" she would state simply before looking to Eph giggling a bit "Oh I see" she would smirk a bit before continuing "sounds like somebody wants a war to start" sekai would think a moment "are there any here who speak with the Tari regularly?" she would ask curiously before taking another drink of her mead
[18:07] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) nodded "This woman even made false accusations, I think she was a bit paranoid after all" she would end the storytelling she didn't have anything else to add aside her dislike for that particular woman "Helga please help me with some tea" she said and hand the woman some coins "I don't really..." she answered and added "A war between us all maybe tragic"
[18:11] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) "I think you are right, Aurelia! And ... well, all right on the drink. You can pay today. And thank you." Eph smiles at Aurelia, then looks sheepishly at Sekai, "Erm, I speak to the Tari every day. I should have given my full name. Ephralia Valor, Malantur of the Vale. That means, uh, second in command." the shieldmaiden bashfully admits. Then Eph catches sight of the starfish in Caroline's hair and goes wide-eyed and says, "Ooo!"
[18:16] Mayberry carefully crept her way through the city, slowly making her way along and looking around carefully. Okay. There didn't seem to be anyone too threatening looking about, and things were quiet. She takes a few slow breaths. Okay. Let's see. City. Where did people gather in a city? Her nose twitches slightly. Ah. There. That smelled like food. A semi-permanent settlement, something she wasn't as used to. Still. It would work. She takes a small breath, before speaking, her voice coming out with a light accent, vaguely indian in nature. "This place is safe, yes?"
[18:17] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods her head sagely, and thinks it is for the best if the unpleasantness earlier is forgotten. " I do think some people have little to do than cause discord between others. The Elves are a peace-loving folk...we much prefer merriment to war. Much nonsense today". She spies a woman in the distance, but one who looks friendly enough, and tilts her head with a bow in greeting. "Do come in, m'lady. This place is most safe. Can we get you anything? " She glances at Caro's hair, chuckling to herself at Eph's immediate love of shinies.
[18:29] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) thought a moment "not if they werent a wolf or an elf really, I mean if you keep everyone from creating alliances or keep them all on bad terms you can manipulate a situation easier" as Eph told Sekai her name and title Sekai would smile "very good, I have a message for the Tari" Sekai would shift a moment, she hadnt told many that she was the new Alpha and she wasnt sure how they would react but with this mess there was just no getting past it "I have not been very upfront with who I am, I mean my name is infact Sekai, but it is Sekai Keita, Alpha of the SIngarti. I took the position after the previous Alpha disappeared" it probably wasnt too hard to guess she was a wolf but considering the previous Alpha was so secretive she wouldnt be surprised if people didnt believe her "If you could please tell the Tari that I hold no grudges and wish to speak with her on equal terms. The Harbinger was hoping to get the Idani and Tari together to speak, I was to show up as well, I havent seen him but I still plan
[18:29] on being at this meeting, so let her know there will be no fighting from those of my pack and if one claims to be a wolf and cause trouble I will handle it as soon as I know of the situation at hand" Sekai would then turn to see Mayberry "evening" she would offer, though there wassomething different about her, was she? She had to be, her nose never lied "this place is safe yes" as Aurelia spoke of the situation she would sigh "I wish I could forget it, it would be nice, but I am not in a political position to be able to do so, if one is pitting us against one another I need to get to the bottom of it. There is also some writing or on the library but I cannot make out what it says, apparently one of my wolves upset somebody or something, but I cannot see an elf writing a threatening message in blood, unless of course it was a drow or an evil elf which they wouldnt be aligned with the Tari at that point i'm assuming"
[18:39] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) smiled as Eph when she noticed her sea adornments "You like it? I was able to bring some of my stuff with me when I decided to come to Valesk" she explained with no much detail, she was distracted as she heard someone approaching and a new scent, she nodded in agreement with Aurelia "It is safe, feel free to join us" she would offer and gaze back to Sekai once she stated who she was and smiled "If you need me to send a message to the Idani, Let me know" she offered. Once her tea was served she tasted it "I don't know what is it about this tea, but is amazing" she added "Yeah, I can't understand it either, but yeah if this person is clever enough she can cause great damage between the factions"
[18:40] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) smiles at Mayberry, "Greetings to you! I'm Eph!" and then just about dislocates a neck vertebra whipping her head around to Aurelia, protesting, "This place isn't safe!" then blinking and reconsidering, "Well, maybe it's safe right this minute...." and then shaking her head to listen to Sekai, her eyes going round, "New Alpha! Well, by gum an' glory be!" Eph chews on that a minute, then shakes the fog from her head and says, "Oh, yes, I'll tell her. She'll almost certainly be happy." Eph beams a sunny smile, then bows, "A pleasure, Alpha Sekai Keita!" and then thinks of something else, "Um. I believe the previous alpha was killed in battle, ma'am." and Eph has something to say to Caroline, too! "I /thought. you were from under sea! By the .. yeah, the shells. Heh. Ahem."
[18:45] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) tilts her head and simply listens to Sekai intently, nodding in understanding. She had been able to divine who Sekai was upon the last meeting, though she felt it better to have proof than suspicions and the like, so was pleased with the new Alpha's honesty and candour. "I had been told of the message myself, though not seen it with my own eyes. A member of the Tari's court would do no such thing, tis simply not the way, and our Tari should not tolerate such behaviour." She pauses for a moment and takes a sip of her drink. "The woman claiming to be an Elf had her head covered so her ears could not be seen, and the man accused of being a wolf neither admitted to or gave any signs of such. It does seem someone might see benefit in war between the Elves and the wolves. Tis for sharper minds than I to figure out such puzzles, though." She dips her head humbly.
[18:46] Mayberry looks over towards Aurelia, listening to her as she speaks. She lets out another breath, there was relief in her voice. "Good, good! ... I believe I am fine at the moment, though I would like to know where I am. There was a sandstorm. I was separated from my tribe, some men grabbed me and then I ended up here." She wrinkles her nose just a tad. More nonsense, it seems! Nonsense that probably solved itself though. "That will teach them to leave a warrior alone with a metal soup ladle." She says with a bit of a cheeky grin. Pause. Alpha? Alpha. She looks towards Sekai curiously, listening to her as she speaks. So... she was the Alpha of a pack of wolves. Was that like her tribe? Perhaps! "You say interesting things, Alpha of the Singarti. I am a wolf." She takes a few steps closer, looking at the open chair, and then towards Eph curiously a few moments. Hmm. Why were they standing? Strange! And then the one she was looking at claimed that it wasn't safe. "Hello, Eph. I am the daughter of may who gathers
[18:46] Mayberry berries -- or Mayberry, for short." She inclines her head lightly towards Eph, her gaze shifting towards the others curiously. Well, things /seemed/ safe enough.
[18:55] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) hums a tune as he enters the tavern and makes his way behind the counter, bowing his head to the group at the table. After he gets behind the counter and snatches up a rag from the wash bucket, ringing it out, he'd look again to the group at the table, asking "Y'all took care of the place while I was out?"
[19:04] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) smiled to Caroline "thank you but I already sent a message to her, she had a fly on the wall outside the den today" Sekai would state with a chuckle before looking to Eph once more "well, she wasnt killed in battle but I shouldnt go into that here" Sekai knew who killed her and how but that was for only certain people to know really "it was a bit of a giveaway when the Crinos came up, I had to do something to keep a fight from breaking out, as for the message though I did not think it was of the elven court, it just didnt seem right. Now one of my kind doing that to another possibly, we are much more used to blood and being mean when we want to be. Whoever it was doesnt know me very well obviously, I am not one to make rash decisions until the full moon" Sekai would chuckle a bit before looking to Mayberry "ahh another. Well you are in Aberwyth on Valesk, you are welcome to come with me a bit later and join the pack if you wish Mayberry, its always a pleasure to meet another wolf" as Gerald came in Sekai would smirk "it looks intact to me" she would state with a grin
[19:10] Nénmacil Vanafîndön (vanafindon) made his way to what clearly looked like a tavern. Mindless exploring always had a way to bring one to the booze it would seem... Purposeful steps brought him within the establishment and his eyes roamed over those within curiously. He had seen several of the faces before however they were hardly well known to him at this juncture. For the time being he said nothing, just observed as was his want.
[19:12] Caroline de La Tour (meileenprincess) laughed "In fact, I am and I will soon be going, must go back to my roots or I will dry out" she joked although her scales were drying and that meant it was time to go back to the water even if the conversation was interesting she was not a lander. her thoughts were interrupted when Gerald arrived "It is intact and as cozy as I remember it" she smiled and nodded her head to MayBerry "I'm Caroline, Nice to meet you and Welcome" she stood up and fixed her dress before closing the chair

In this case, Eph wrinkles her brow at Sekai and replies about the battle, "Uh, yeah, she was. Um ... message? Look, I'll take your message to the Tari but right now I think I'd better take a look at this message in blood thing. .. Farewell, Sekai. Farewell, Caroline of the waves. Namaarie, Aurelia and Gales!" and then she passes Nenmacil, "Vedui, Nenmacil! Welcome to Applebottom's! A pity I am departing. I greatly desire to speak with you at length some time."

[19:20] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) grins as he hears confirmation from everyone that everything is intact and would bob his head, saying "Very good, very good. If anyone needs anything, feel free to ask. THough I imagine that Helga has already given you all what you want." As a newcomer enters the tavern he'd grin and wave, saying "Welcome, welcome! Feel free to come in and have a seat, maybe a drink."
[19:21] Nénmacil Vanafîndön (vanafindon) looked towards Eph as she passed and favored her with a small smile. "Of course. Perhaps another time." He offered in his rich baritone as he dipped his head towards her in farewell.
[19:22] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) quickly calls out "Namaarie, Eph!", hoping to make the comings and goings less hurried. Unlike Eph, she could lie, though she preferred simply to dismiss things that were best left unspoken or private, and simply have a merry time...with cake! "Goodbye to you also, Caroline...I hope to see you again quite soon!!" Turning her attention to Nenmacil, who she'd met the other day but did not expect he'd remember her, she said "Vedui, and do come join us!", wth a respectful bow. Turning to Mayberry, she replies, "I am Aurelia, which means "she who is of gold"...and looks at herself in amusement. Tis a pleasure, one and all!!"
[19:23] Mayberry tilts her gaze towards Gerald as he walks in. Cheerful. Okay! Almost definitely safe. "It appears to be in one piece, so most likely!" She says towards him. Now that she was sure that things were safe, she was beginning to act more normally. That is to say, loud and cheerful. Mention of Crinos, and a fight being kept from breaking out... hmm. Previous alpha killed. Interesting information, but ultimately not directly important to her. "Aberwyth on Valesk. Hmmm... that doesn't tell me much, but at least I know what to call this place now." Nomads didn't really end up knowing much of the world. "That would be pleasant, at least until I can either find a way home or figure out my plans for the future. I am a hunter-gatherer...though I cannot honestly say how effective my skills will be. I grew up in a desert with a small stubborn forest nearby. This is not a desert." Pretty much stating the obvious there. Her attention turned back towards Caroline, listening to her as she speaks. Hmm! ... Interesting. "It's
[19:23] Mayberry nice to meet you as well, Caroline." She says, a note of cheer in her voice. And then ... Ephralia beats a hasty retreat, bringing a message to the ... Tari? That sounded like some sort of rank. Interesting. "Farewell, Eph." She says, waving towards the woman as she takes her leave. She looks towards Aurelia as she introduces herself, and offers a small bow of her head, "A pleasure to meet you, Aurelia, she who is of gold. I assume that speaks of your skin tone, which is somewhat golden in tone." She murmurs softly.

[19:33] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) waved to those around that were leaving "safe paths" she would offer to everyone before looking to the blond male who came in Sekai would grin "well hello there handsome,come have a seat, you too Mayberry, sit down" she would offer them, she wasnt too worried about what eph had said, she knew what had happened to the Tari.
[19:35] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) wanders off to look at the message scrawled in blood. A faint shout is heard from over across the plaza, "Yee-ow! Jumpin' Juniper! Great ball o' fire!" as Eph has a small conniption fit over the contents of the inflammatory graffiti
[19:38] Nénmacil Vanafîndön (vanafindon) glanced over the collection at the table. It seemed like a unique assortment to his eyes. The double request to join them was met with a faint smile and the handsome comment wasn't missed. He was definitely a fan of a bit of flattery as he moved closer to the table. "I prefer to stand for the time being, thank you." He responded. "I have, two of your names... But..." he turned his eyes on the two women who were mysteries to him curiously, of course Sekai got brownie points in the first impression game with the handsome comment.
[19:44] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) stifles a giggle at Eph's yell, for although the graffiti is a very serious matter that could cause things like war, Eph's reaction to most everything is funnny. "Welcome back, my love!" she says to Gales, her face brightening. Turning curiously to Mayberry, she says "Indeed, tis the colour of my skin...for were I literally made of gold, I'd have to sell myself to the tavern to pay for bee spit and pastries!" She flutters her wings in amusement, for this is a congenial crowd. "Nenmacil, tis a pleasure We've met once before, but not properly. I am Aurelia, and tis my husband Gales who is allowing himself to be a chair today."
[19:46] Mayberry moves to take a seat next to Sekai, now that someone who had arrived before her had left and thus no longer 'deserved' the seat. First come, first served, etc. She shifts slightly at Eph's shout from across the place, glancing in the direction curiously. "...I suppose she found it." Mayberry comments thoughtfully, her gaze shifting towards the elven man, thinking on that a moment. "I am the daughter of may who picks berries; or Mayberry for short. A pleasure." She says with a small bow of her head towards Nenmacil. She settles comfortably in her chosen seat. Much nicer than the ones on the boat. In return to Aurelia, she gives a small chuckle. "Selling yourself for bee spit and pastries sounds like a major underselling of your own worth, even if it was a lifetime of it." She murmurs softly. "They would not just get gold, after all."
[19:48] Gales Hawkblood whispers "Thank you, my love" as he wraps his arms around Aurelia tightly. "What is Eph shouting about? Did she get hurt?" Though the thought seemed unlikely to Gales. He had fought along side Eph and her getting hurt wasn't concievable.

[19:50] Gerald Baker (gadget Cyberstar) looks over to the library as he hears the screaming from Eph and would chuckle "She doesn't like the new wall art, I take it. Can't say I blame her, it isn't very tasteful. DUnno what it says, but... nothing written in blood is ever nice."
[19:56] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) looked to the blond male finally noticing the pointed ears, an elf! they were everywhere! "well fine if you dont wish to sit" sekai would chuckle a bit "I am Sekai Keita, the new Alpha of the Singarti pack, pleased to meet you mr handsome" as aurelia spoke of her husband Sekai would smile "pleased to meet you as well" then to mayberry "its pretty easy to spot really. Anyways you were speaking of being a hunter gatherer, that is good, we always need those within the pack"
[19:59] Nénmacil Vanafîndön (vanafindon) glanced towards where Eph wandered off when she called out. His brow furrowed and he considered going after her but by the sounds of it, she was not in fact hurt or the like... Instead he turned his attention towards the couple and offered a faint smile and a dip of his head as they offered his name to the others and presented their own. "A pleasure." He stated politely. He looked toward Mayberry then and chuchked at the explanation for her name. "Well meet Mayberry, Sekai, as you heard, I am Nenmacil." He fell silent for a moment. "Alpha you say..." he mused, giving Sekai an appraising look for a long moment.
[20:19] Mayberry looks up towards Gales and inclines her head. "It is as the owner said; I believe she simply got surprised by the contents of the blood graffiti on the wall." She says cheerfully, leaning against the table contently. Ah, comfort and joy! She looks back towards Sekai as she speaks. She nods again. "Yes; I am from a tribe of nomads. I am used to finding food and water where we were." She murmurs softly, shifting slightly as she looks up towards Nenmacil as he speaks. She smiles, bowing her head towards him. "Nenmacil; may I know what it means? I am curious. It is a foreign-sounding word to me." She asks towards the elven man. Said statement was likely unsurprising. After all, she wasn't an elf!
[20:28] Sekai Keita (AnnabelleCross Resident) grins to the elf "Nenmacil, very intersting name, ive always found elven names to be interesting" she would state "also as you dissect me with your eyes i am not like my predecessor so unless the forest or my pack is harmed or threatened im really pretty easy to get a long with" Sekai would give a genuine smile before looking to mayberry smiling still "ooooh I see, my pack was hunted down and I wound up here, so did you live with others of your kind or other humans?" Sekai would ask before looking to the tavern keeper "so whats for dinner tonight?" she would ask eyes that said please feed me cause I dont want to leave yet, it was probably the closest to cute you could get when it came to Sekai.

[13:54] Gales Hawkblood grins and he approaches the tavern and takes a running start to jump into the pile of leaves

[13:58] Gales Hawkblood peeks out of the pile of leaves he was playing in and sees Eph across the court yard and waves wildly
[13:58] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) flutters over and bows pleasantly as she sees Eph, leaves stuck to her wings. "Vedui, my friend!! How are you today?"
[14:00] )Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) enters the plaza, not quite as bouncy as usual and immediately climbs the fountain and cups out some water from the top and drinks avidly. Eph chuckles at the sight of Gales in leaves and laughs joyously as Aurelia comes and greets so wonderfully. Eph hops down and curtsies, "Vedui! My heart sings to see thee both! I am well, Aurelia, thank you! how are you, Gales? How are you, Aurelia?" Eph is sweaty, grimy, and a few other words that end in 'y'
[14:17]Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) realises Gales is going to be quiet for a long time, and also notices Eph is not as bouncy and Eph-like as she is used to. "I trust everything is going well in the new shop! You seem a bit tired today, though." She looks at Eph in concern.
[14:21])Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) rubs and massages a bicep, "Oh, well. Things are well, just a lot of work needing to be done. As it turns out, metal is heavy, haha. And I cleaned out the furnaces, for a fresh start." Eph glances at the tavern for a moment, and licks her lips, then climbs the fountain again, to dip out some more drinking water. "Any news from the Vale?"
[14:27] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods empathetically. "Yes, indeed, metal is heavy!! I should be a crushed blob on the floor in no time" She laughs at this image. "Ah, I do not know!! I have been resting myself hermit-style ever since that night with the message on the library. Things of a dark nature afflict me more than they should....and I have been sensing too much darkness. I went to a happy place, and now I am in good health and spirits again! " She paused a minute. "I did hear there was Court and some new appointments, and of course, a new owner of the Stitichery. Was it ever determined who left that awful message?"
[14:29] Gales Hawkblood laughs a bit at Eph dipping water from the fountain. "I can pour you a proper drink if you wish" He smiled.
[14:33] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) decides water is a good thing, and splashes herself in the face a few times, like a large, elven chipmunk. She placidly assures Aurelia, "It has been determined that the writer of the message is no one we know. Furthermore, I have good news. There is no longer any poor relations between the shape-shifters and the elves. The new Alpha is quite reasonable. All hostilities have ended." and Eph glances to the tavern, licks her lips again, then shakes her head no. "Water can do for now. I put all the gold I had into the smithy., down to the last copper! I'm all set up, I think, but until I sell something - it's water for me!" Eph grins happily. She's actually liking the adventure of this smithy venture, and she's been penniless plenty of times in the past
[14:41] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) brightens at this news. "That is wonderful!! The new Alpha seems like a most reasonable and sensible one, though quite distrustful...not that I blame her, what with everything in the past. And I knew in my heart such a disgusting message could not come from anyone we know." She smiles and flutters, happy that things will be congenial and fun in the Tavern again. "Perhaps I might be able to be one of your first new customers at the smithy, then! As you know, I am not the fighting sort, but it has been suggested I carry a small dagger for my own protection, should I be found on my own." She frowns at this ominous suggestion. "Anyhow, I have no such thing, but you might be able to help me! "
[14:44] Gales Hawkblood nodded "Yes there are times when neither I nor Archie are available to escort my love. She could use something small yet maybe slightly ornate to protect herself with"
[14:48] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) sweeps a bow, "It would be an honor to make you a dagger, Arwen Aurelia! To thus christen the forge could only be a grace." and Eph gives a happy smile, then inquires, "Does your House have a theme? Would you like any particular runes or symbols or colors? And, what size?"
[14:55] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) bows and smiles at the Malantur, so happy that she might be able to help christen such a noble undertaking as what her friend was doing. "I should indeed love that!! If possible, I should like it ornamented in gold and amethyst jewels, the colours of my people." She looks at herself with a smile. "My love, what do you think? I need no weapon that is too big, rather one that might be tucked away discretely" She lifts her delicate wrist. "Anything too heavy should end up not helping me a bit, I'm afraid."
[14:58] Gales Hawkblood shook his head "No, my love. If it is too large it may even end up hurting you." He held his fingers about 6 inches apart "Maybe a blade this long with a bit of a pommel" He held his thumb and forefinger about an inch apart. He knew fighting well and was able to conceive what size an appropriate weapon would be for Aurelia and that would do nicely
[15:01] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) listens intently, nodding at each point about the gold, amethysts, and size. The sturdily-built half-elf holds up a finger, "A small point. I'll need some amethysts from you. Either that, or enough gold to buy some nice ones." Eph might be dooming them to deal with Den Mother, or perhaps Meri or Ria at the Augeriis.
[15:06] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) nods gratefully at her husband for explaining. "He knows much about fighting; and himself needs a better sword, but will not consent to part with the old one", she says to Eph with a loving smile in her voice. "Oh, tis no trouble; I am able to obtain the amethyst as long as you are able to work with such a jewel." She had learned from Jamison that not all jewels could be used in the same way, and remembered this..
[15:08] Gales Hawkblood smiled as he grabbed the hilt of his sword protectively. "This blade has been a true old friend and has gotten me out of much danger. I could use a dagger myself though. Slightly larger and not ornate at all. Just a plain leather wrapped hilt would be sufficient so that I can teach her how to wield such a weapon"
[15:14] Ephralia's eyes go a bit wider at Gale's additional order, "Well, so shall it be! Your dagger should be done in no more than two days, Sir Gales. And, Lady Aurelia, I'll promise three days for yours, three days after receipt of the amethyst. Two silver for each order, four sliver total." Eph appears to know her market prices, judging by her confidence in reciting those figures.
[15:20] )Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) tilts her head and nods, taking out the coin purse that carries only a small amount, and hands 5 silver to Eph, because tips are polite. "Thank you kindly, my friend, for all your hard work! I shall bring the amethyst to you on the morrow." She squeezes Gales' hand lovingly.
[15:22] Gales Hawkblood squeezes Aurelia's hand lovingly and smiles. He had reached for his own coin pouch, but was a bit too slow so he laughed a bit and let his arm go. "Thank you, Eph" he smiled. He vowed to be a little quicker. Aurelia had to let him pay for something too every once in awhile
[15:24] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) As soon as Eph's hand closes on the money, she gushes, "Oh, golly! The weariness just falls from my arms! May I take my leave, dear friends? I just can't WAIT to get started!"
[15:27] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth)Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) restrains a laugh, hoping Eph is getting her jubilant spirit back. "But of course!! I am sorry for detaining you so long, but happy that we are able to be some of the shop's new customers!! It is wonderful to see you find something you love doing so much!" Aurelia herself had not yet found that...passion for work, and was a bit envious. She bowed to Eph. "Namaarie, Malantur, and safe travels to you!"
[15:29] Gales Hawkblood nods a polite bow "Thank you, Eph. Safe travels" he said with a smile.
[15:31] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) just about hugs them both, but aborts all that when realizing how dirty she is. Eph laughs, does a twirl, and bounces back toward the smithy. Whether it was the new order, the drink of water, or both, it's for sure that Eph has her bounce back (just like Tigger?)
[15:45] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) flies home, happy about being able to help her friend and have a lovely new dagger at the same time. She had never had one before. The amethyst she had wasn't much, smaller pieces that had survived with her valuables, and even less than the gold she had left. She needed better connections when it came to obtaining things on Valesk; what she had upon her arrival and in her parent's home had allowed her to make do for months, and coin was coming in. But suppliers...she needed to learn. Remembering that, she bent under the bed to retrieve the large pile of fabric Isabelle had given her. She had kept a few yards for herself, but she could never need so much, as much as she appreciated the gift. She tied it with a ribbon to make it more presentable, and headed off to the Stitchery. For a light fabric, it was rather heavy.
[15:48] Gales Hawkblood smiled as Aurelia had retrieved the package nd prepared it. Though he saw her struggling with it and quickly held out his hands to relieve her of the burden
[15:51] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth)smiles at her love and snuggles against him, careful not to crush the fabric. "Thank you.", she says with a happy voice. "Tis for the new owner of the Stitchery...we should perhaps meet her and bring her a welcome gift?"
[15:53] Gales Hawkblood snuggles carefully with his love so as not to crush the fabric.. "We should!" He smiled larger and starts to head for the door opening it carefully.

(Aurelia and Gales head over to the Vale, where something strange is happening to Nadora.)

[16:01] Hayat (SchismaticFantasy Resident) gave a small, appraising tilt of her head and murmured, "A curse, perhaps? There is much secrecy here, it would seem, enough to cloud the mind of the young woman. We are ever thankful the spirit was willing to illuminate such," she said with a small, placid smile. The spectacle that unfolded before her would be given her undivided attention, mismatched hues reflecting the flickers of the sprites.

[16:01] Gales Hawkblood waves as he approaches the group. "Hello, friends!" He turns to see Eph standing with the group. "It is a small Island" He smiles

[16:02] )Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) flutters in, thinking she would greet her fellow Elves and Elf-friends, but they seem intently preoccupied. "Vedui, and hello, one and all" She bows to the assembled company but does not interrupt.
[16:03] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) gasps loudly as she feels the spirit's essence float around her and into her mind. Whispers surround her, wind picking up and twirling around her limbs, though it is mostly obscured by the spirit. She could feel her magic returning with the thousand whispers of other spirits of those gone before. She closes her eyes as she feels the block in her mind dissolving, slowly, her visage would shimmer. The magic that she had unknowingly cast upon herself each morning fading to reveal that she was, indeed, Eldari.

When she opens her eyes, tears threaten to stream down her cheeks, though she holds them at bay. Looking up at the spirit she takes a deep, ragged breath, the force of what was revealed to her making her feel light headed. " Diola lle."She says in a whisper to the spirit forever grateful for her help.

[16:06] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) barely registers Aurelia and Gales coming, intent upon the interaction between the ancestral spirit and Nadora. Eph's mouth drops open in utter astonishment
[16:08] Sarah Black (saarrah) whispers to rizzo, "have no fear my friend, this is something good happening to the lady. i suspect she is becoming something new and better." sarah looks at the event. she backed up, not for fear, but to show respect to the spirit. she will not forget, even if she understands very little.
[16:10] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) watches as the Spirit of the Stone floats like a luminous cloud back over the stone, once again returning to its original fluorescent state. Looking down, ti said, "Eldari Tari, for your kindness I and these tiny spirits with me will seek for you those answers that you need. You only have to Sing to me," and she sank slowly back down into the stone, the crystal glowing more and more brightly while the sprites followed the spirit like buzzing bees down into the stone. Emma looked over toward Nadora, more or less dumbfounded.
[16:12] )Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) his jaw drops open in astonishment.. his mind reeling . he stares openly "that ghost...made her an elf...its a elfmaker ghost! er eldari maker..oh wow... does this mean Nadora will need to make toys now?" ok, so kobolds dont get the real truth about the elves and so he was going withthe racial sterotyping that elves were all gay and made toys and lived in trees. now his mind was more open to this new reality "can ghost lady make anyone a elf?" he asked... kinda wondering if he should...kobolds had a lot of sins to endure
[16:15] Hayat (SchismaticFantasy Resident) lofted her brows high at the sight and purred out in her Jomoron accent, "How curious." Her mismatched hues drifted towards the kobold as he made his comments then back to Nadora, "I do not suspect that is the case, but perhaps my understanding is limited. If her magic was blocked," she trailed off with a small flick of her hand, "it is not my place to posture and presume. Let us take this for what it is. I am pleased for you," she said to Nadora.
[16:19] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) stares at Nadora....and watches and blinks, and watches and blinks. She had attempted to see inside Nadora's thoughts, and it made her weary and confused. Whatever had made the poor woman live in such a state must have released its grip, and Aurelia's wings flutter in happiness and gratitude for this.
[16:20] Gales Hawkblood stands silently and all he can do is stare only blinking occasionally
[16:21] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) stumbled a little over to the wall of the Great Hall to lean upon it before she fell over. Her knees felt weak and her cheeks blushed softly as all eyes drew to her. She licked her lips which suddenly felt dry. Looking over at Rizzo she would laugh a little at his stereotyping and nods her head at Hayat. "The spirit has shown me the truth of it...I have always been Eldari." She says simply and a brighter blush covering her cheeks. "My grand-mere found me in the woods as a youngling. She took me to a hedgwitch who ..."She frowns, not knowing exactly how to explain hypnosis. "She made me forget who I was. I have been casting cantrips upon myself for most of my life to hide who I was without even knowing that I was doing it." She looks over at Emma and bows her head respectfully to her. "Diola lle Tari. I do not know how to repay you for this, but you have my full gratitude and loyalty.
[16:25] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) eyes focused on Nadora who now sported the most beautiful points of pride Emma had ever seen. "You are beautiful, Nadora." She went to her and held out her hands to her. "It is good to meet you, Nadora of the Eldari." Emma beamed out at all those present. It was a momentous day. She said loudly, as though making a proclamation, "Let us welcome the newest member of the Eldari!"
[16:27] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) Slowly, Eph comes over, glad that her errand to speak with Hayat about leather has instead caused Eph to witness the metamorphosis of Nadora. Shyly and in low, vibrant tones, Eph murmurs, "Vedui, Nadora! Indeed, the stars were shining upon our meeting!" to Nadora, Eph's face a picture of wonder. The sooty half-elf will acknowledge everybody else soon enough, but this was pretty amazing.

[16:30] Sarah BlackSarah Black (saarrah) moves to the woman, "i do not understand everything, eldari, but you seem to be a good person who received a great reward. i am very happy for you." she takes the eldari's hands in hers and shakes them very softly then backs up.

[16:33] Hayat (SchismaticFantasy Resident) smiled faintly and murmured, "It is truly a blessing to know ones true kin," though her tone was a bit morose. The therian woman gave a faint dip of her head and murmured, "Please excuse me." She gathered her fur shawl tighter about her shoulders and began to walk away from the group, head tipped low.

[16:35] "Whisper" landed in the grass next to the group of them at that moment. Her golden wings fluttered then folded as she looked about the group. "I am seeking the one called Nana. There is a woman lost in the fae woods seeking her." her voice was a myriad of sounds, seeming to be that of many people all whispering at once.

[16:36] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) had also come to see Hayat, as evidenced by the large amount of fabric her husband had awkwardly been holding.....but this experience had been a blessed revelation. "Vedui, cousin" She bows gracefully to Nadora, who had always been so kind and gentle. "
[16:37] Gales Hawkblood still wasn't sure what had just happened and had to work to keep his jaw closed. He had seen some amazing things in all his time on Valesk, but this was huge. Fortunately he had a firm grip on the bundle of fabric or it would have ended up on the ground.
[16:37] RizoKobold Minotaur steps closer "venedui Nadora...did it hurt? oh wow... your new ears came already peirced! thats convuent magic... did it hurt? "
[16:39] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) takes the Tari's hands and smiles at her, she would bow her head again then look over at Eph and laugh softly. "Indeed Ephralia, I am happy to be amongst such friends." She smiles at Sarah and bows her head respectfully to her. "Thank you, my lady, that is very kind of you." She would watch Hayat walk from the group and frown just slightly, she hoped the woman was alright, she seemed like a good sort.

She bows her head to Aurelia and smiles. "Vedui...it is good to see all of you."She pauses at the fae woman's announcement and tilts her head. She knew of no Nana, but perhaps the others did? She'd look around to the others gathered. She laughs at Rizzo's words. "They were pierced when I was young I do not remember if it hurt...If you are referring to the unbinding, no, it did not hurt. But I do feel weak and as though if I were not standing against this wall I may fall down."
[16:41] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) motions them all back toward the Hall. "Come, let us get Nadora inside. A cup of tea...Cousin?" And she pronounced the endearment with great emphasis.
[16:42] Sarah Black (saarrah) nods, "and a bit of food too maybe, if anyone has some."
[16:42] Hayat (SchismaticFantasy Resident) continued on her way, moving away from the group to return to the Stitchery without another word. In a soft murmur, she spoke to the fae, "I know not this person," though she seemed to refuse to look directly at the fae-woman, moving passed her quickly.
[16:43] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) frowns a bit, wondering if there was confusion, and someone was looking for their Mana, not Nana....a dangerous mix-up. She followed the group in welcoming Nadora.
[16:44] Rizzo (rizokobold.minotaur) he follows after themm thinking about the power to change species. he didnt understand what was going on but now his thoughts were of what it would be like to be accepted as a elf... would he need to make toys? he stumbles along looking at the clas on his hands and the short velvet like fuzz coating them
[16:44] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) joins the migration indoors, but pauses to smile at Whsiper. "Greetings, milady. I'd like to help, but that name doesn't ring a bell with me. Welcome to the Vale, by the way. I"m called Eph."
[16:45] Gales Hawkblood shook off his conufsion. At least he tried to and gently nudged Aurelia and pointed out that he was still holding the bundle of fabric and it was starting to get heavy
[16:46] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) smiles brightly at the Tari. "That sounds lovely."She would follow them all into the Great Hall as well. The sooner she could sit, the better. Her legs felt like jelly and her mind was still a bit fuzzy as she was still trying to process all that had happened in her lifetime that she was unware of until this moment.
[16:47] "Whisper" blinks as they all walk by her as if she weren't there. A dark look crossed her face and her eyes narrowed. She hisses at them, showing a barring of sharp fae fang. "Then the woman can die for all I care. Go eat your cake and drink your drinks." She turns her mismatched eyes to Ephralia and she nods once. "I am called Whisper of the Moontide." She stepped back from them and flapped her wings lifting into the air where she would return to the wounded woman in the forest.
[16:47] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) was still trying to grasp what all had just happened, but what mattered was that Nadora was and always had been an elf. Amazing. She just happened to glance up and see a troubled looking Nenmacil up on the balcony. This did not bode well. She'd not seen him with a frown on his face more than five times in all the time she'd known him. Emma hurried inside and told Kaylin, "Will you ask Cook to prepare a table? We have guests," and she motioned them all inside.
[16:48] The Vale Great Hall: A hint of music, elven and spun with magic, lingers in the air here while soft beams of light filter through the nearby trees, the Great Hall entrance made mystical and serene. This is the home of the Tari and those Eldari and Mellon of the Vale and stepping within brings the attention of a NPC steward, voice calm and melodic with the shadow of a smile. "'Vedui' and welcome," she says as she moves to you. "I am Kaylin. How can I help?" And beyond her might be courtiers, diplomats, or others of the Eldari court, as well as two NPC Guards in royal livery that flank the doors. [This place is considered guarded. [16:49] Emmaline Anundr Aldin: **frown on his face NOT more than five times
[16:50] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) blinks as Whisper snarls, and says, "Wait! Who's dying? Nana? Or the one looking for Nana? Or . . . " but if Whisper was gone, Eph cannot follow, having no wings.
[16:51] Rizzo (rizokobold.minotaur) looks to Sarah and smiles "yoo and me is... they very hospitible here..thats why me stay near them...they got good food"
[16:52] Nénmacil Vanafîndön (vanafindon) did indeed frown from time to time. It usually happened his his thoughts were not as pleasant as they usually were. As the procession entered the hall, he blinked down towards them with golden eyes but seemed content for the moment to remain on the balcony over looking the settlement.

[16:56] Gales Hawkblood looked alarmed. There was no way that Aurelia could carry him with her and he couldn't run as fast as she could fly. He trusted her judgement, but wouldn't be able to be with her to protect her if she went.
[16:57] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) frowns at the sound of the fae hissing those words. She would have offered to help, but she didn't think she'd be of much use to anyone right about now. She would, however, smile at Sarah's words. "You are kind...I am Nadora by the way."She says to the woman whom she didn't know her name.
[16:57] Sarah Black: "I am Sarah, my lady, Sarah Black. Do you wish to sit down?"
[16:58] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) follows after sarah and then aids Nadora if she needs it in sitting down... he heard about somone being hurt...but he was already caring for one of his friends so he wouldnt run off. he had no idea what this transformation did for her "yoo had your ears...peirced...as a child? yoo man to say... that the magic made it so yoo were always an elf?" glances up to Nemacil and frowns then looks to the Tari worried
[16:59] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) had somehow missed that there was trouble or an injured party in the woods. "Of course, Aurelia. Light! We cannot just leave them." She nodded to the npc servants who scurried about, setting up a table and filling it with food, plates, drinks and cups. She turns back to Aurelia, "I will send one of my guards with you, just in case," and she motions to the guards standing behind her. "Lorion, please accompany them...there might be trouble." Emma nods her thanks to the one she now knows is called Sarah Black. "Please, all of you, enjoy yourselves as we celebrate Nadora's healing.
[17:04] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) bows and motions for Lorion, Archibald and Gales to follow her on land, if they are able. They know where the fae forest is and can move quickly. "Thank you, Tari, I am concerned...and thank you for the additional guard. " She tilts her head at the guard in appreciation. "Many blessings upon you, Nadora. We shall be back shortly".

Besides the woman seemed to want no part of JAmi, though as a winged woman showed up.....he was all beaming smiled and reached out with his tail in reflex try and happy shake the crying scared woman. "Look! Its you Nana, and she looks good for age."

To the red head he waved a clawed hand. "Guten Abend! She ate somesing zat no agree wit her and is now scared of own shadow,...or smell....or sing..."

[17:17] "Whisper""Whisper" turns to eye the two that came to them. Whisper did NOT look friendly. "Ah look, some of the hoity toities decided to actually acknowledge us after all. I hope they choke on their cake." She turns then and flicks her fingers at the girl. "She is suffering from hallucinations and seems to want to careen off the side of the cliff into the water. She was asking for an elf named Nana."
[17:18] Gales Hawkblood realized that this was not going to be an uneventful day. He took a deep breath and looked at Aurelia. "Can you help her, my love?"
[17:19] Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident)Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident) would hear the word nana and quickly drop her hands from her eyes and attempt to stand up, hopeful as ever, but once again it didnt last as she realized it was in fact not her friend " thats not her" she cried out. Tears would quickly start to fall again "just eat me please and get it over with" she sobbed. She hated this feeling almost more then the way she felt at her old home, fear and tears did not look good on her!she brought her knees up to her chest as she sat still not realizing that they meant no harm, all she could think of was that she was going to be their next meal and her short free life was almost at an end
[17:21] )Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) regards Whisper and the other gentleman sharply. "We are not having cake, as we were told a woman was dying". She looks at the woman in concern. "She is having hallucinations because of something she ate? Do you know what this was? There is no elf named Nana, I am afraid, not that is a given name. Will she let me come near her? Why is she believing she is in danger of being eaten?"
[17:27] Jaymehson: Didnt know what a hoity toiyt was but he knew Whisper ws upset. It made him pin his ears back. "Is trouble Vhisper hah?" Did she need him to eat people? Cause he would if it came to that. She was his friend...he'd eat people for his friends.

The 'Thats not her' made Jaymi look at the woman in hysterics beside him. "Vell is only bird elf Jaymi ever seen." And gave her a poofy cheeked face in a huff.

Asked about the food Jaymi nodded. "Was a sweet sing. Vit berries." As to the rest all JAymi could do was shrug.

[17:27]"Whisper" cants her head and a hand goes to her hip. "She is mortal and she ate fae food." She said it so matter of factly. Everyone knew mortals eating fae food did not end well.
[17:32] Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident)Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident) would try and comprehend all that was being said, her eyes started to blink a little faster then normal as she heard the male speak of her eating the sweet, damn him this was all his fault!!She knew better then to trust a male why did she not trust her instincts?She started to shake as she quickly went back into panic mode, her clear thinking leaving her once more, she would put her hands on the ground and try and push herself up, her body still shaking but she needed to make a quick getaway.She stood there for a moment tho trying to gain enough balance to get the ehll outta there!! She needed a distraction for them , her eyes started to dart all over to for an escape root that didnt involve the cliff for once

She must be sedated and healed as quickly as she can be. To Gales she says in a whisper, "I need one with the ability to dispell toxins or even to halt the process of death. I can't do it. She must be carried. She is dying? She needs greater help than I can give. I must know exactly what she ate and how much.."
[17:34] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth)Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) (con't) looks at the men, speaking in her normal tone. "Would you object to picking her up and carrying her to the infirmary. We have four strong men here, but she is powerful in her state."
[17:34] Gales Hawkblood walked slowly over to the distressed woman. "I mean you no harm. I am going to take you to where you can get help" He said softly and he started to gently pick her up.
[17:38] ""Whisper" blinks and steps aside as they prepare to take the girl off to the infirmary. She takes to teh air, wings flapping as she watches from a safe distance.
[17:41] Jaymehson: Huh interesting. Jaymi had the cure by the redheads standards. In theory. "Is no dieing silly Vooman." He told the redhead. "Is just, unwell." Then he counted the men, and his brow arched. Maybe it was the elf lady wasnt doing all that well. There was only two men. "Nicht,, Nien will no do it. She no wants me to touch." He'd figured that out so he was leaving her alone.
[17:41] Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident) would notice the other male coming near her and her fear would grow even greater...if tthat was even possible! As he tried to pick her up she would attempt to bite his arm as hard as possible, she would be damned if another male put his hands on her, she wasnt about to go back to that life yo! she would attempt to move backwards again, maybe the cliff was a good idea once more, she felt surrounded, she let out another low growl she didnt wanna die but she wasn't about to trust another male either!
[17:49] )Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) speaks calmly and reassuringly. "If she has ingested fae food, she is quite ill and must have an antidote for her safety. It is not so bad. But she is clearly fearful. " She turned her attention to the woman, allowing the panic of the situation to subside and the back of her mind's eye open, the flame growing greater and greater. She approaches carefully, her voice lifting in song as the golden threads weave together, the one allowing her to connect to the woman in distress and to discover the truth of what was happening. Aurelia's golden voice lifted into a chant, asking for the blessing of wisdom and healing, and for her mind's eye to be filled with visions of what the woman was, what had happened to her, and what hurt her. [17:52] Gales Hawkblood quickly pulled his arm away. He wasn't going to let himself be eaten either. "We're not having any of that either!!" He shouted as he scrambled to put himself between the woman and the cliff. If she wanted to run from him, she could run in the direction away from danger. Either real or imaginary.

She continues singing to the woman, her chant asking for protection and insight, as the golden cord combines the two minds, and Aurelia is able to receive visions of what has happened
[18:03] Jaymehson: Well the other two were here for the scared wman now. She had help so she wasnt his responsibility any more. Besides the other two were.....taking care of it. So Jaymi slinkd off without a word, only his gaze went up in search of Whisper and if she was around he'd follow if she'd left to go do her own thing he'd just be on his own way.
[18:05] Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident)Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident) the fae would woman would be able to see all the fears running through Mia's eyes, from her taking the sweets from the male with the tail and suddenly seeing every one of them as a predator and her the prey, to her fear of men because she had always been abused by the men in her pack, on top of the fear of not finding the one person who had cared enough to save her from her last companion and the worry of an old packmate coming to find her and repay her for what was done to said companion when her friend had set him aflame for her to escape.as the male who had tried to pick her up shouted a slight grin of satisfaction came over her. She may actually be able to defend herself for once , hearing the song, did manage to calm her a bit, but her nerves still ticked as she tried to gain her composure and think clearly again.She could not stop the fact that she felt she was going to be eaten by everything that moved tho, making her glance go every which way to watch any sudden movements. as the male who had given her the candy had started to move off, she felt a small bit of relief that put the odds in her favor just a bit more

[18:11] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) continues her song, the golden cord knotting together strongly, her own mind sending visions of the woman resting peacefully in a bed in the infirmary, a quiet room with fire, senses restored and no men present. She showed the woman an image of the man beside her, and Aurelia in a wedding gown, hoping she would understand Gales was safe.

[18:18] Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident)Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident) would feel at peace with the images shown to her, but her head would tilt seeing a wedding, it was something the woman had never seen before, coming from a wolf pack that never had such things.Mia had never known of love or kindness but from herself and the kindness of the averiel that saved her((didnt spell it right im sure but oh well lol)) for whatever reason, be it the song or the images Mia felt safe with the winged lady, maybe even thought she could know her friend or had at least seen her. She slowly moved closer to her and gave a little sniff, her eyes would go between the two, watching the male closely to make sure he wouldnt try and touch her again, she wanted these scary images of everyone eating her to be gone and would do anyting to make it stop " help me" she whispered to the woman she had no idea if she could or how she could all she knew was she would never eat another sweet from any man, especially the one with the tail!
[18:21] Gales Hawkblood slowly stepped closer to the woman. There was no way Aurelia would be able to carry her, but there was something he didn't yet know and thought maybe if he had an answer that would help He calmly asked "Can you walk?"
[18:25] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) calmly absorbs all of this, and is sorry for the poor girl, wishing to hug her but knows to not touch her. She continues her song, growing more peaceful and serene, while sending visions of the woman holding Aurelia's arm as they go towards the infirmary for peace.

[18:29] Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident) stepped behind the woman as the male moved closer trying to hold back her growl. The song calmed her as she tried to fight the images of being eaten in her head, she would shake her head a few times hoping that would make them leave but it would not. She had never felt this way before and was so confused on why it was happening to her but she would follow behind the woman feeling like she had no other choice in the matter, she would try and keep a safe distance as she made her way to wherever she may be taken
[18:30] )Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) continues to sing, her golden chant quieter and more serene, and the knot growing tighter as she offers the woman her arm, a vision of the two following Gales to the infirmary, walking calmly through the leaves, the negative thoughts dispelled
[18:30] Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident) hesitantly takes the womans arm and follows her looking at the man every so often to make sure he wasnt trying to harm her
[18:35] Gales Hawkblood walks calmly to lead the women to the infirmary
[18:35] )Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) walks the woman safely across the cliff to solid ground, and sends her visions of walking through Middle Aberwyth, past Aurelia's home, to the infirmary.

[18:40] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) continues to sing, the melody and the chant growing soothing as as she motions with one hand for Gales to ring for infirmary staff. Aurelia's mind sends an image of the woman lying calmly on the bed, curled up in safety as Gales gets out of the way and she is able to rest. Aurelia pours the woman a glass of water and sets it down, not daring to touch her.
[18:43] Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident) would listen to the images in her head, though being in an enclosed building made her nervous again, she just couldnt shake the feeling and it made her so upset not having any control of her thoughts, as she laid down she covered her eyes wondering if somehow she could make them stop if they werent open, she heard movement as the woman got her water and would uncover her eyes to watch her, after she set it down Mia would reach up to take a sip and sigh as she tried to control her thoughts and not freak out again
[18:49] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth)continued the song, relaxing and soothing, as her movements are quiet and serene, her thoughts those of the woman being in a secure, safe place, a happy moment. Aurelia shows the woman her own home, a picture of her cuddling with Gales to let her know it is safe.
[18:50] Gales Hawkblood stood out of the way and went over to ring the bell to to see if any help would come
[18:53] Miakoda (Amarieloveless Resident) would start to feel relaxed enough to fall asleep, as her eyes drifted shut she would be at peace for the moment and hopefully sleep long enough to rid herself of the toxins
[18:54] Gales Hawkblood Sees the woman drifting off and quickly help Aurelia administer the medication she needs
[18:57] Aurelia Lefevre (Guenevere Amaranth) blinks as the woman falls asleep, thankful Gales was a human who understood the need for a sedative when he saw it, as Aurelia finally shut the window to her mind, broke the cord and found her voice. "Thank you, my love", she says, looking tired. She looks at the Tari's guard, bows, and presses a coin into his hand. "Diola lie, my lord, and please return to the Tari with my thanks. Tell her all is well."
