Orcs!
By which I mean any pocket-sized combat-oriented NPC monster invasion. We get practice with dice and team strategy and upon victory gain some feel-good vibes and camaraderie. Valesk is in a growth phase - we don't really want civil war right now. Valesk is an island - ships could land at any moment, carrying anything from undead to orcs to death dwarves to stirges.

I love that idea, Eph. And we've got STORYWEAVERS! So it's all doable. We'll have an ooc meeting sometime after the first IC court and appointments are made to set up this exact thing.
