And I'm not too proud to beg! Haven is having an event on the 24th of October. More information can be found here: isleofvalesk.boards.net/thread/1940/sticky-finger-scavenger-hunt
The event, however, relies upon the involvement of RPers who are not in Haven to be the 'victims' as it were. Crystal shards are going to be distributed throughout the island, for the most part slipped secretly into the belongings of other islanders. Haven thieves are meant to hunt those shards down and steal them back. But we need people to volunteer to have a gem placed in their possession. Mostly that will just involve being online and in character during the time of the event, and having the gem on your person or within the location where you are. It's between you and the thief (And the dice of course) what happens from then on.
Anyone who volunteers would be greatly appreciated. It doesn't really matter what race or class or anything you are, or how your character would react to finding out they were being stolen from. That's up to you. We would like to ensure that this event involves more than just Haven and some SWers. If you are willing, please contact me in SL (Valerie.vixxen resident) and I can make the necessary arrangements to have a gem hidden in your possession.
