Faewyld are NPC Fae Creatures found mostly in the Fae Forest. They represent the Fae creatures that are not fit for PC Races. either too small >12", Very old Treents, that can no longer move on their own, Fae that are too attached to nature and have no means to communicate, Wisps (including Will o Wisps)
Sprites
Trooping faeries
Bogarts
Boggans
Flower Faeries
Dew pixies
Elemental wisps(Tiny elementals)
Spriggan(Tiny stick like Fae, kinda like a treent)
Etc....
Feel free to include them in your RP, while in the Fae Forest, but keep in mind that their interactions are limited.
What they do:
+ Faewyld tend to stay out of sight from bigger people, but glimpses of them could be seen from time to time.
+ If a Tribute is not offered to the wishing well...Faewyld will scare Game animals away and hide uncommon and rare herbs from view, making hunting and gathering difficult in the Fae Forest.
+ Will o Wisps can lead people astray and get them lost... only the player getting lost can RP this...unless they are controlled by a Fae with Wisp Whisperer Gift. in such a case they require OOC Consent.
+ They can be sent to deliver messages, but only within the area they are found... (Fae Forest, Wayward woods...etc...), They speak and understand only Sylvan, if they speak at all.
+ If something of importance is happening within the Forest, they will contact any Fae they find and let them know...(Forest Fire, a Fae or Faewyld being attacked, a Lost Child..etc...)
+ Like their larger or mobile cousins, Faewild of the 3 factions and factionless can also be found. (Sunfire, Moontide, Twilight, Independants)
What they can not do:
+ Faewyld can not help in combat scenarios (the only exception is Will o Wisps, when controlled by a Wisp whisperer)
+ They are Shy, and will only come out for conversation with Other Fae...and rarely with elves. Due to there deep connection to Nature and lack of socializing, they also only speak and understand Sylvan. if anyone else arrives...they disappear.
Overall they are just Flavor RP, ways to make the Fae Forest seem like a more magical place...please do not abuse there use.
