"What is this place?"
Mikayla whispers aloud in caution at the sights and smells of a land not of her own.
The unfamiliar sound of mass water crashing upon rocks was alarming to her, the texture of sand on her skin, all but the blue skies were opposed to Blackheath, the small and humble parish she was assigned to protect amidst a green countryside of blackbird song.
"Barric..." She utters in disbelief, the very mage who gifted her with two courier companions, the crows that now peck the sand beside her, banishing her to another realm.
"Why?"
She finds her feet and looks over the environment, the possibility of her returning by her own devices looked hopeless. She was no creature of magic.
