[15:02] Gavinox: Thank the gods it was two hours till dark. He could feel it. Night was coming and he was waiting for it to greet him like a happy puppy. It also meant he didnt have to cover up AS much being out. He was still mostly covered out here with the sun still out but it was lowerin, it meant a hat was fine for a covering to shade his face instead of a full on cloak nad dagger look. He was happy. With a bit more energy the young vampire was up out of the little hidy hole he spent most of the day light hours in and was out exploring. "Allo lady!" He was waving over at someone new he'd not seen before just to give a happy chipper ello.
And then...well....then there was an Elka....he s feeling petty and childish. Not as murderous but childish. He'd think of something. For now he was reduced to sticking his tongue out at her.
[15:04] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) nodded to the stranger. He looked like a sea captain or a pirate, and then Emma saw the Alpha. What was she doing on Elven lands? Last they'd spoken, the Elves had been denied access to Singarti lands. Didn't that sort of work both ways? Well, she would wait and see what it was Elka wanted.
[15:09] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) had been turned towards Kindo with her back to Gavin speaking in hushed whispers. As such she wouldn't see the display of..maliciousness? Her day had been one of frustrations, agitations and disappointments and as such she wasn't in the best of moods. Shocker. She did encircle one arm around Kindo's as she spoke, hugging it to her like he was some kind of security blanket. When it came to the elves Elka didn't exactly consider them at war and so she would prance about and come to the Vale when she wanted and how often she wanted. If they had issue with such they could bring it to her attention.
[15:16] Kindo was along for the ride and as much there for the protection of the Alpha as he was to protect others from her. It was a complicated life. He marched with a heavy, awkward mode as she held his arm like a child might hold a favored stuffed bear. His gaze fell forward on Gavin from his station, observing the man for several moments before his crude gesture. The Therian glared at the man, and extended the one free arm out toward him, directing his words toward the man. "Ay! I'd watch tha' ef' I were ya'. " He cautioned the man with a blunt, non-threatening tone.
[15:21] Gavinox: "It ent the finger er nothin and considerin all the threats she gave my friend taday I think its the politest thing I could do." His brows furrowed. "Yer....wotever she is to ya needs some manners. /Sorry/ would be a nice start."
He turned then remembering the un known woman and it was her he gave an apologetic look too. "Sorry, I know I mist look like a-hole. She jes gets under my skin an' seein' er don help none. I ent an ass though I promise.."
[15:24] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) moves to greet the Alpha. She must feel forgiving indeed to visit Emma, so Elka was greeted with a sweet smile and a musical, "Vedui, Alpha. It is good to see you. You have come to mend fences? I hope so. It is not good to have poor relations with close neighbors." The Tari's guards moved with her, silently assessing the situation. They would remain quiet and nonchalant, but they were anything but. The sailor's words caused her to raise an eyebrow. Seemed the Alpha and he must have had some kind of little run in. She told him, "I am Emma. Welcome to The Vale, home of the Eldari," then turned back to Elka, "Is there something you need, Alpha? What brings you to The Vale?"
[15:27] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) turned upon Kindo's gesture toward someone behind her, but it was the voice and then the face that made her groan audibly annoyed that she had run into him again. Instantly her brow furrowed upon hearing him blame her, "Me? All I said was that fae pranks were nothing to worry about if you're befriending vampires." Her mouth clenched shut and her jaw tensed, "-She- is the one who insulted, threatened and reached for her weapon." Of course her attention was pulled to the Tari as she approached, "I've no fences to mend. I gave you my terms and now there is truly nothing that can be done to take back what you have done. No danger has befallen any elves, but they are still not welcome in the forest." Her arms untangled themselves from Kindo's arm to free him from being encumbered by her.
[15:30] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) landed up on top of the roof. She would walk out onto the overhang and sit, ruffling her feathers a bit as she observed what was happening below. Her black, small eyes blinking curiously every now and then and her head tilting just a bit at the different tones of voice and the accents. She made no noise nor did she make her presence known...not that she was hiding, but she preferred to be in the background for now.
[15:33] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) jogs out of the Hall whistling happily and armor plates clanking softly as Eph bounces and bops along.
[15:34] Kindo heard the man speak at his back, growing only annoyed by his stubbornness. Surely Elka's monopoly was enough for him to contend with. With his arm free, he shifted forward and moved to stand just in front of and to Elka's side. He had no idea of what incident the man referred to, but the contention was enough to give Kindo pause. "Sounds' a justified cause ta' be hostile if someone is makin' threats and drawing on their arms." He'd confirm idly to Gavin before pointing his gaze toward the Tari. The situation between the Elves and Singarti was not something he desired or designed upon but he had no room to argue with Elka on the matter.

[15:37] Gavinox: Guards He hadnt seen them! He was too bus glaring at Elka likely, but as the blond woman stepped from the dias in town he saw the guards now move like her shadows. "Oh..." Well.....that was one way to make a first impression. "Alpha?"
The word had Gavins head snap in the direction of Elka again. The personality fit he didnt know /why/ he hadnt put it all together before. "So yer the one tha' bullied Makki." Great, she'd bullied all his friends!.....all to of them......but still! He ws itching to throttle the wolf but he had enough sense not to do so while in someone elses home....and their armed guards...and it was day light.
"Ya know im a vampire and ya insulted vampires and she's my friend a course she were gonna say somethin y daft Bint. An she /said/ somethin. Yer the one tha made threats ta rip er head off and rip her tongue out." He was surprised her boobs hadnt been threatened to be ripped off too! "And ya threw the first attack too ent no one touched you." He was scowling at her now. "Takin some blame fer yer own actions would go a long way ya know."
Gavin just shook his head at the other man. It wasnt Kindo he was upset with so his voice was softer as he said. "No offence mate but ya werent there. She came over ta my friend and I and just started talkin shit. Course people werent gone like that, my friend said somethin, Yer Alpha made threats, an my friend pulled a weapon in defense a said threats."
Then someone was bopping along, and half dressed at that!!!! Turning beat Red all Gavin could do was turn around! ll her bops were.....bopping!
[15:43] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) did not sigh. That would betray an emotion she might feel at the Alpha's words. Her smile was still sweet, her voice still soft and musical. "Now what were your terms, Alpha?" To be honest, Emma hadn't realized that there had been any terms to begin with. "I can't imagine what kind of terms you might wish for my revealing your name." When the sailor explained what had happened, Emma felt a little bit sorry for him. He was up against the ruler of the Singarti--not a comfortable place to be. "There is a saying among the elves, old and proven. Those with great power must needs walk more lightly for heavier steps deal greater damage to those beneath your heals. It is something I have tried to live by." She glanced over at the vampire. What had this young sailor gotten himself into?
[15:50] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) had never met a more delusional soul than this vampire, it was as if he thought vampires were like little kittens to be pet and had as pets and not the monsters they were. Draining folks over their blood with their tainted dark souls. Even -if- he wasn't like that it made him the exception, not the rule. She moved away from Kindo to move closer to Gavin, "Actions have consequences, your friend can't go around insulting and threatening people just because she doesn't agree with them. I believe my words were that you should teach her manners before -someone- removed her head or her tongue. It was just a friendly warning. I can hardly be to blame if you two can't tell the difference between the two, but then I suppose that would explain all the threats and actions you took against me for the warning." She could hardly be bothered to hash this all out -again-. The Tari's questions did nothing to calm her, "As I already said, those terms matter no longer. It's been far too long since my position among the pack has come to light. Only time can possibly heal that wound." Any others were ignored by her for now finding these two to be enough to handle.
[15:53] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) bounces over close to Emmaline. Eph says in conversational tones, "Vedui, my Tari! Hello, one and all! Erm, for the record, I have given the vampire Gavin some grace period for him to properly research his grim predicament. After he discovers the truth, well, we'll take the next step."
[15:53] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) dug her talons into the wood of the post she sat upon. She cling to the thing fo balance as she listened intently to the Alpha and Tari. The vampire was a little out of her range and she was unable to hear what he had said. As Eph wanders in, her attention is drawn to her, possibly looking for a chipmunk she had the other day.
[16:00] Gavinox: "Tha's the point. Yer actions an words 'ave consequences ta. I aint care if yer old, or powerful or an Alpha." And for anyone keeping track he still has his back to everyone cause someone was half nakkie! "Ya can 'ave an oppinion, but ya were tryin ta get a reaction knowin wot I were. So don pretend ta be in the right cause people acted out like ya wanted, and some just 'sayin' somethin doesn mean ya get ta put yer hands on em. Ya over reacted. The fact ya cant see it is damned sad." And though she couldnt see it he rolled his eyes at her. "Friendly warnin." He muttered.
Uh nuuuuh it was the lad with the holy light sword! His day was just getting better and better and THATS who was half naked behind him! He couldnt even turn around to look afraid! "I ent done noooooothin." He half whined.
[16:02] Kindo moved in toward what was rapidly becoming the epicenter of a storm. The storm was nonsensical to the Kindo, and only grew more frustrating as people chipped in one after another. Kindo stepped in front of Elka once more, his hand rising to sit on his belt and glare seated on the Vampire. "I'll nye' ave' ya' insultin' er' again lad. I suggest yer' next words be chosen carefully. " The Smith's temperament wasn't particularly short, though it seemed he was not about to let the Vampire be as free with his words as he might like to be. His gaze flickered over to the Tari and her entourage momentarily, stating to them quite bluntly. "Unless yer' intendin' on protectin' im' and his mouth, I'd suggest steppin' back."
[16:06] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) bowed her head to the Malantur. She wondered if those on the island realized what Ephralia's title actually meant. She was second among the elves only to Emma. In Emma's absence, the Malantur's word was law. Emma shook her head at the Alpha's reply. "I hate to hear that, Alpha. I had hoped that good relations could once again be restored." She glanced over at the vampire sailor and then to Eph. "I believe since you are on Eldari lands, uninvited, that the young man is on quite safe territory here. I will not go as far as to say that wolves are banned from Eldari lands, though it would not be unreasonable to issue that decree, but since no elves have been injured, I will not command it. I do decree, however, that the sailor is safe here. Perhaps it is time for you to head back to Singarti territory." The two guards who had seemed so nonchalant stood a little taller.
[16:12] Rizzo (rizokobold.minotaur) the small monster had traveled far this day... he was deeply lost and mostly blind from being out in the sunlight so long. he clung to the shadows.. not that it did much good. he came around the rise and stoped dead...well not as dead as he would be if he kept walking in elven lands.. he crouched low and his ear twitched as he listened in to the goings on and hoped one of the arches didnt notice him
[16:18] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) peered around Kindo and looked at Emma as if she had suddenly grown extra heads, and scales, perhaps a demon tail even, "You cannot possibly..." Of course she would attempt to go around the man if he allowed it and glared at the Tari, "Is there no end to your insults? You speak of peace and apologies and yet you only throw further insult. You have drawn this line between our kinds and any blood shed from this point on is on your head and your head alone." Turning away from the woman she nudged Kindo and gestured towards the gate to leave, "Elves harboring vampires, next it will be demons. If we stay I fear that I won't stop until the Tari's head is mounted before the den. The very sight of her disgusts me."
[16:20] Nixie (adalori) was futzing around with the basket of fish in her arms as well as fiddling with the gate. She didn't see the occupants of the courtyard until she was already halfway through, peering over the full basket of fish in her arms and blinking, a slight hiss coming from her mouth, listening to everything that was transpiring. Slowly setting that basket down beside her, head cocked to the side with a raised brow, hey she was just here to bring fish dammit....
[16:22] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) fidgeted a little at the Alpha's words. She would lay against the hill she had landed on to try to flatten herself and make herself smaller. Those words did not bode well for either side. She would tilt her head again as she watched wondering what had caused the strife between the Singarti and the Elves.
[16:22] Ephralia: Eph's eyes go a bit wide. Far be it for Eph to contradict the Tari, but defending a vampire .... it's gonna be hard to generate any enthusiasm for that! Eph bides her time, wonders where her chipmunk is, and then spots a raven --- oh! maybe that's where the chipmunk is -- sensibly nestled in some out of sight cranny. Eph narrows her her eyes at Elka. Wow, those were pretty emphatic words. Eph continues to study the pair of wolves, then waves at Nixie, chirping, "Greetings, Idani Nixie!" and bowing deeply. Rizzo so far goes unnoticed by Eph.
[16:24] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) came up behind the Idani before she came to the gate and froze as he heard the alpha's words letting her continue on. He'd take up behind the wall a small distance and listen. Judging by her tone, having the Sinistram around would do no good. He'd lay low and out of sight for now.
[16:26] Gavinox: "She's jes damned Crazy Lady tha's wot it is." He told the Tari...he hadnt caught her name, and wasnt sure of the proper title. Her defense of him, or at least, rather, her allowing him to stay safe and he was betting if he kept his mouth shut...it made him turn back around to face her....even if he did have to look at her and not Ephy just beside her. "Well....thank youh." And he offered her a grateful smile, even if part of this was just do to politics with wolves and Elves....he was grateful.
In all the comotion Gavin didnt take note of those hidding in the shadows, but he did glance Kindos way. "Ya reap wot ya sow mate." He said softly, but thats all he said, and though the other man might not like him he still had no issues Kindo.
Then....then there was a Nixxi , Gavin just stared at her, Blushed until he felt like his head was ging to explode ".............." A topless....beautiful...purdy voiced.......Annnnnnnd the vampire Fainted.
[16:31] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) glanced over at Eph and made gave a hand signal behind her back to the two royal guards. They tended to be a little quick with an arrow when the Tari was threatened. When NIxie appeard, Emma offered her the same sweet smile and soft "Vedui" that she'd given the Alpha. And then the vampire sailor went down. At first, she'd thought Kindo had taken him out, but no....he'd fainted at the sight of Nixie! It was a real stretch of Elven determination not to laugh outloud. What had she done, offering to protect him while he was on Eldari lands....light!
[16:33] Kindo blinked with a fading twinge of dismay touching his features before melting back in to a gruff neutrality. The size of the situation had blown itself wide apart. They stood there, in the exit wound of political discourse and Kindo could only groan. At Elka's nudge Kindo hefted himself with a readiness to march on back home but paused with recognition. Nixie had arrived holding a basket of fish, a smell wafting from her had the bear nearly salivating. He had words to share with the Idani, but this proved itself to be neither the time nor place.

[16:36] Rizzo (rizokobold.minotaur) he needed to watch these...a border conflict? humans vs elves? could get ugly..he needed to find where the borders exactly were before he became a pincushuion of arrows as is usualy the end for kobolds tresspassing in elven lands where he was from. curiosity was going to get him killed one of these days
[16:38] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) watched as the vampire collapsed to the ground, wondering if someone else had done something to cause the reaction and having no idea it was because nudey fish were walking around. She decided to take the long way around the Idani which brought her right next to the vampire. In a swift move, her hand slipped the dagger on her arm from it's sheath and she buried it in Gavin's back with a rough thrust. Then just continued strolling towards the gate as if nothing happened mumbling something about how she had told him to watch his back. Besides if the Tari was going to start a war, she was going to give good reason for their to be one.
[16:44] Ephralia: "Stay your weapons!" Eph undergoes a quick transformation from dopey to commanding as she hisses a whispered command to the pair of royal guards. Eph strides a few paces forward toward the downed vampire, pointedly NOT drawing weapon, though she does snidely remark, "Well, that was real mature of ya! Don't let the gate smack you in the furry ass on the WAY OUT!"
[16:45] Nixie (adalori) took a slight step back in surprise, a perplexed look on her face at the antics of the now downed male, her gaze slid back towards the Singarti pair, ever wary but that perplexion didn't quite leave her features yet.... she didn't see either of those two do anything... and she didn't do anything.... "Greetings Emmaline..." she called softly, voice echoing around them louder than usual with her rather obvious tension. She turned as Elka rounded about her, lips pursed and eyes narrowed on the female, gaze flitting between both Elka and Kindo. She held no allegiance to the downed male though a soft hiss did escape her lips as Elka buried her dagger into his back, shaking her head softly but letting the female pass her by with no comment, turning in place to keep both Elka and Kindo in her sights.
[16:46] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) hadn't realized she was holding her breath as she watched teh Alpha stab the vampire. She looked from the Tari and her guards back to the Alpha and hers. Inwardly, she would cringe. She knew this was going to get messy, she just hadn't thought it would be so immediate.
[16:48] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) held there silently then he'd arch an eyebrow at the sound of steel sinking in to flesh and the order for the guards to hold there place. He'd press against the wall a bit more as he heard footsteps come closer.
[16:54] Gavinox: Whelp, nothing woke up a vampire from swooning quite like a dagger to the back! He screamed. Its all he could do. Hell he didnt even know what the fuck had just happened, He just woke up to the pain and everything side ways. He didnt say a damn thing there wasnt thought for words past the agony and steel thrust into his flesh.
[16:55] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) finally noticed the huge bird up on the rock ledge. She realized that it had been watching the proceedings for quite a while. And then there was the Kobold. Emma had always had a soft spot for Kobolds, and if she had known that Rizzo was there, she would have welcomed him and fed him. She'd never known a Kobold yet who could not be won over by a deer shank. She'd been eying the sailor when Elka marched around the Idani, so she very clearly saw the Alpha stab him in the back. It was clear now what they were dealing with. This kind of vindictiveness was the sign of an uncontrolled animal. And there was no dealing or reasoning with animals. Emma stayed where she was. In this she had no choice for the two guards were now standing, human shields, in front of her. The Alpha had declared war by stabbing the sailor. Emma said, her voice now laced with a magic that swept through the Vale, her voice vibrating with power as she declared, "Let it be known that the Singarti are anathema to the Eldari. No Singarti
[16:55] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx): is allowed on Eldari lands and if they are found there, justice will be served upon their heads." The leaves shook with the power of the Tari's words.
[16:58] Kindo moved forward with Elka, fully expecting to leave immediately with no further conflict. But he couldn't have been more wrong. Her body flinched just barely, smoothly extracting the blade and impaling the unconscious vampire with it. His anger came with a massive inhale as his whole body shifted to pull the kite shield off his back. Situating the shield on his heavily armored arm, he twisted and turned his back to Elka, guarding her backside with a steady hand and eye. He was cautious even through the call for a hold over the Guards. He stepped back in retreat for the gate as the Tari's words rang out, hand hovering over the hilt of his knife in preparation for any assault they might face as they retreat. Kindo's eye fastened onto the form of the Vampire who awoke with screams of pain.

[17:00] his eyes squinted and focused on the human who was standing fine..... then fell over.....THEN he was stabbed...was there some sort of time thingie going on? usualy people fall over after being stabbed if this was how it was here it was so much weirder than he thought. his concern for the fallen man lured him out.. part if hes alive to heal him...and if he was dead he would wonder if anyone was going to eat him....the kobolds tummy growls and he hides
[17:01] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) ignored anything and everyone around, listening only for the sound of metal and drawn weapons, but the only sounds she heard was the familiar one of Kindo's movements towards her. Her her chin lifted defiantly and her eyes locked onto the Idani and she stared her down as she walked passed her. Once the mer was out of her sights, she flung the gate open and stepped through making her way back to their own lands. No emotion one way or another showing on her features for what had just been done.
[17:03] Kindo further retreated to the gate, keeping his shield held high until he passed through it and set down on the path out of the Vale.
[17:03] Nixie (adalori) took a step back at the sudden drawing of a shield, hands balling into fists and letting that ethereal glaive of hers materialize in her outstretched hand. A precaution of her own, smirking ever so slightly at Elka, flashing her fangs at her in a mocking nature that perhaps only the Alpha would understand. Watching them go.
[17:05] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) flaps her wings slightly as she feels the weight of the Tari's voice. She would watch the Alpha go and immediately she worried for Aoife. Her gaze strayed back to the Tari and her talons dug into the dirt and rock. She had hoped to gain help from the elves, but now she was unsure...weary of revealing herself after what had just happened with the Alpha, even though she was not Singarti, she was sure they would not welcome shifters in their lands just at this moment.
[17:06] Ephralia: Eph watches the wolves retreat, which of course was wise of them, being heavily outnumbered. She then bends down and latches a fist into Gavin's clothing, hauling him to his feet and frog-marching him a pace or two toward the gate, growling, "Oh, shut it, Gavin. You'll be fine. Wait for nightfall and ... suck a goat or something. By the gods, stop that caterwauling!" Eph plans to toss the vampire bodily out past the gate.
[17:08] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) stepped from the shadows of the gate and smirked as he spotted the dagger. He came forward quickly and knelt by the stranger as Eph dragged him by "Hold still then, have it out in a sec." With that he'd unceremonious yank the dagger out of his back with a smile.
[17:12] Gavinox: Wasnt moving...he sure as hell was caterwalling though! "Get it out!" He had a knife in his back it HURT thank you very much! Picked up and dragged his body protested the movements. "Stop afore ya break me fer real." She might paralyze him or something. Fuck fuck, fuck. He yelled out again.
Then YANK "Fookin bloody 'ell!" He'd been stabbed and then had the damned thing not taken out but RIPPED out. It was soooo not his day. "Wot was tha fer?"
[17:14] Nixie (adalori) hissed lowly under her breath, rolling her eyes at the Hunter. Stepping out of the way and just glad that Elka hadn't spotted her Sin'istram or there would have been quite a bit more blood shed. "Eph, a moment. Why are you throwing him out?" Nixie was throughly confused as to what had escalated everything after all, bending to pick up that basket of fish, letting her blade fade away in a flurry of wisps, wrapping both arms around the large basket to deposit it over near Emmaline.
[17:16] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) would fly up into the tree and rest on one of the brances. She looked down over the group, the yelling the male did made her twitch. Her feathers ruffling and she would caw softly. Her head tilting to gaze at Eph dragging him out then back towards the Tari when she finally spots her. She would move back on the branch a bit to try to be more hidden, even though she knew the elf had seen her.
[17:18] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) still held the magic, breathing deeply. It was a little like letting go a lightning bolt while holding back the electricity, but she did it, the elemental magic seeping away. Finally, she let out that final breath and said to the Idani, "Diola lle, Idani Nixie, for the fish." Emma's eyes went to the bird and she called to it, "Show yourself, friend. You are among friends here." Light...were vampires able to shift into birds? It would be her luck!
[17:21] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) allows Sin'istram to take the knife, then winces at the renewed howls, then growls to Gavin, "I can't heal a vampire, duh. Nobody here can, I'd wager a few dozen wolf pelts. Count yourself lucky the wolf had steel instead of a wooden stake." to Gavin, then pauses and answers Nixie, still keeping a grip on the nigh hysterical Gavin, "He's a vampire. But more than that, he's a total pest. I promised I wouldn't kill him until he's researched his own condition, but that doesn't mean I have to abide his presence!" Eph speechifies, then resumes unsympathetically attempting to toss Gavin out into the forest.
[17:22] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) smiled as he looked the blade over then quite lovingly sheathed it on his belt. He smiled to Eph, "Never a dull moment with you elves, I'll give you that." He'd point over the the Idani and the offered fish. "Come to give you a bit of an offering and I come away with a prize of my own, perhaps more fish is in order I think."
[17:23] when he hears the elf say come out you are among friends...he didnt think she was talking to a bird. he hesitated and stepped forward and closed his eyes waiting for arrow shots
[17:27] Gavinox: "Ey! Ey! I jes 'ad a knife in my back I ent up fer runnin around like a loon! Get oooff." Then he huffed at her. "I ent a pain...." In fact he looked hurt at the notion. "Where are you taking me?" He was pouting now. He didnt do anything wrong why was she dragging him off to be eatten by wolves?! Cause out on his own with a back injury thats what was likely to happen. "The other lady said I could stay."
[17:31] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) gaze traveled from the bird to the Kobold. It just went to prove that one could never know what each day could bring. Word would have to be gotten to the Battle Spears. Things could get a little sticky in The Vale, to put it mildly. She motioned to the Kobold. "Vedui, little friend. Are you hungry?" Emma turned quickly toward the vampire sailor. "Numa...no, young vampire." Her voice was silky, a definitely more dangerous voice than any she'd used previously. "I believe that I said you were under my protection from the wolves while you were on Eldari lands." Emma would leave him to Ephralia. When she turned back toward the bird, it was gone.
[17:33] Nixie (adalori) nodded slowly, "All they need is to drink the blood of someone Eph. Much the way Siren do though I would think none would wish to make that sacrifice?" as Emmaline let her breath out Nixie would smirk ever so softly. She knew that feeling of holding back magic in her voice though she never had quite been able to stop the unearthly quality of her heritage. Sighing and hissing lowly under her breath. "It is not an issue. They were brought in good faith though it seems that timing was also in your favor. At least under the waves we are at peace and do not have those we do not wish wandering through our lands.... shaking her head. "Why is there such an issue with the vampire though?" was it simply because he was a vampire? Her tone was curious, moving to stare at the one Eph was dragging out. "Is there something we can do to help in this situation Emmaline?" referring to the fiasco with the wolves of course.
[17:35] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) hops down from the ledge hesitantly. She would shift but there were too many people here. She eyed the kobold wearily, not wanting to become dinner for the creature. She would hop a little closer to the Tari instead of the kobold and caw softly.
[17:37] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) he nods and steps forward. he was very confused one elf was givng a human the bums rush... and the other elf was offering him food...was he being invited to eat the human? "vendui matron.. thank yoo for food...but me dont eat hoomans....alive.. or armed..."
[17:37] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) makes his way out from the building behind him, his feet merely inches off the ground as he drifted and hovered like a phantom, his speed coming in little bursts every now and then with his movement, his eyes glowing brightly under his hood as he approched Emma's side, placing a silent hand on ehr shoulder
[17:38] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) hears Emma and Nixe and nods to them with a smile, then reminds Gavin in not-unkind tones, "I am a member of the Order of Numinous Blades. I am sworn to kill all your kind. The end of your existence is inevitable. I think I have been quite generous in allowing you to experience that last, fading remnants of your humanity as you descend into unholy debasement and dark servitude. My hope is that you will come to grips with reality, realize your fate, and peacefully, sadly, wisely, and with eyes fully open end your own journey to the service of Darkness. If my treatment is harsh, then let it be an early lesson. It is a mere taste of what is to come if you ever become a REAL vampire." Eph just calmly tells him the truth as she sees it.
[17:42] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) told Nixie, "I am afraid it was doomed from the beginning. The Alpha got what she came for--more trouble with the Elves. I may take you up on your offer for help, but for now, we will patrol our lands, paying extra close attention to our borders." Emma hated conflict, actually, but she was not one to back down from a fight, not unless the odds were overwhelmingly against them. At the Kobold's words, Emma grinned. "That is too bad, friend Kobold, for you would solve some problems I think if you did, but I was referring to a nice roasted haunch of venison. You look a little thin for a Kobold." She smiled up at Mystogan, which was all she could do since he was taller than anyone else she knew. "You missed the excitement, Mystogan." When the bird hopped toward her, Emma nodded, relieved. She'd thought it had been frightened off. She said to it, her musical voice laced with peace and welcome, "The Singarti have chosen this path. Shifters, in themselves, have nothing to fear from the elves.
[17:44] Gavinox: Blinked and turned his head....carefully, to Emma. "But..." Well he hadnt been very protected! "Why cant I stay?" He wasnt looking to move in just not be tossed out on his ass after being stabbed in the back. She also sounded....mad at him? "Wot I do?" IT asnt him that stabbed somebody on her property. It wasnt him that mouthed off to her. What was going on now?
"E-ey yeh why such an issue wit me?" He asked on the tail end of Nixi's question.
With a grump his head slid down to stare up at Eph as she tugged him along. "Ya want me ta come ta terms wit some day imma be murding asshole? No thanks. It ent bein a vampire that makes people nutto its jes them choosin ta say fuck it." A curse was a curse he was what he was, but couldnt he still /chose/ to not be a dick?
[17:44] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) smirked as Eph told off the Vampire and leaned against the tree nearby. On seeing Myst veritably materialize out of no where he'd smirk and nod to the specter like man. He'd hold his peace for the moment and listen to all those nearby before eventually meandering to the Idani's side.

[17:49] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) glances to the large bird and ponders for a bit but his ears perk and drool flows from his muzzle theres a bit of suspision in him "the venison is a dead ...roasted...venis thing?...already dead..me no need to get betten up by it...its already cooked...right? so me dont need to do the cooking?" he tried to find the catch..where the elf would make profit in tormenting him and didnt see it
[17:49] Nixie (adalori) listened quietly to everyone's explanations of things, head tilted slightly but aside from that she kept silent on the matter, her brow pursed a bit in her familiar pondering face. Her gaze flickered over to the male by Emma's side, giving him a nod of greeting and peering at his feet with narrowed gaze... how was he doing that?! Shaking her head and sighing softly. "Simply toss something shiny into the water, it wil summon my guards and they can fetch me if you require my presence of help Emmaline. Nothing too valuable, they have been given orders to return it but some of them can be quite covetous...." nodding her head and letting out one more sigh. "My work is not finished this evening however and I have limited time on dry land. I must bid you farewell after ensuring this was safely delivered to you." gesturing down to the basket of fish.
[17:50] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) "Go on believing, Gavin. But for now, scat. I can't stand the sight of you. It's all I can do right now to NOT just cut your head off. Go!" Eph attempts to pushe him out and then would close the gate on him.
[17:53] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) nervous around all these people she would look up at the TAri when she spoke to her. She would tilt her head at her words, hardly believing after what had happened that the elf would welcome her still. The bird would take a deep breath and caw softly before her body began to contort and twist, looking very painful as her limbs started to elongate and the feathers began to fall away.
[17:54] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) wasnt sure why, but he felt like beingt extra ghostly today, he would let out an etheral like chuckle and use it in his voice"I always seem to miss the best parts of our struggle dont I?" he said with a slight echo in his dark and gravelly voice, still just floating inches away from the ground, using his flight ability and weather control ability to keep his cloak flowing behind him
[17:55] Merialeth Windstar (caireannliadan) nodded again as Cedar spoke, her soft "Indeed..." knowing full well that she'd make -sure- that would not be an issue. Hearing the voices from beyond the gate though, made her brows rise and she'd slip around Cedar with a quickly apologetic look to push the gate open ad peruse those within. Partially looking for Emma and partially to see what had Eph in such a tizzy. "Vedui' everyone..." her gaze alighting on Emma then over to Eph and Gavin with a tilt of her head then back towards Emma and Nixie again before moving their direction, figuring Cedar would follow.
[17:57] Apparently as they went through the gate, a man was being forced out! Cedar eyed this attempt by the armored blonde with a cocked brow and sideways look that had her lips pursing and her head shaking from side to side. "Seems as though there's no small amount o' agitation, eh Meri?" the fae murmured as they walked. But soon she spied Emma and -- well, she couldn't be quite sure but she thought perhaps it was the Idani with whom she'd had tea once before. Cedar didn't speak however, only meandered up to them after Meri, she'd wait a pinch to see what the topic was of conversation and the general atmosphere at that.
[17:58] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) bowed to the Idani, "And we, too, are here if you need us. Though we cannot join you in the water, we are here for you on the land. And diola lle... thank you, for the fish. They are always welcome. She called for an npc servant who hurried to her and she told him, "Get our little friend here," and she motioned toward the Kobold, "that haunch of venison. All of it." She knew just how much a Kobold could eat! She told the Kobold, "No, friend, you do not have to kill it or cook it. The meat is yours." When the bird began to shift, Emma nodded. She'd been correct. Emma gave a short bow of her head to both Meri and Little Tree. At least they were not coming upon a bloody battle. There were things to be thankful for.

[18:02] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) smirked and fell quiet a moment as he heard yet more people coming. At the sound of Meri's voice he'd turn to her direction and nod in greeting. The Hunter never like crowds, even if they made it easier to slip away.
[18:03] Taegen V'hoori (alyxz.marenwolf) came up the pathway and entered the main area of the Vale with a soft little hum. It was a nice evening for her so far, it had been quiet and peaceful for the most part but there was a obvious buzz of commotion at the top of the stairs. Bare feet pattered quickly up the remaining stretches of stone and tiptoed down the path in curiosity, sheepishly peering out over the crowd of people with a set of wide green eyes. Well there was that. The numbers. Her gaze danced to each face while an elongated ear twitched at a familiar voice amongst the gathered. Where? No. Nope. Definitely not. There. Her line of sight rested on the usually nonchalant little vampire whom seemed to be contesting a redheaded woman while on the ground bleeding. Well, that was unfortunate. A frown crawled over her freckled features and the feathered appendages at her back ruffled with a burst of confidence as she skittered up the armor bearing woman who seemed to be ushering her friend from the area. "Excuse me!" she waved a hand as she chirped and hovered over the man. "Ill take him out. Dont kill him. Please." The avariel cleared her throat, heart thudding in her chest and peered down at Gavin. "He wont come back." The woman spoke with little to no knowledge of what the hell was even going on but... This was the only familiar face she had on the isle at the moment. A friend. She rather not see him destroyed.
[18:03] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) goes toward the NPC servent and watches him looking for reluctance or some sign of a trap....confidence building a bit "yeah...what she said.....and no skimpin on the meaty goodness" he follows after the elf until he is out of sight with the elf . murmured paranoid questions can be heard off in the distance
And then...well....then there was an Elka....he s feeling petty and childish. Not as murderous but childish. He'd think of something. For now he was reduced to sticking his tongue out at her.
[15:04] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) nodded to the stranger. He looked like a sea captain or a pirate, and then Emma saw the Alpha. What was she doing on Elven lands? Last they'd spoken, the Elves had been denied access to Singarti lands. Didn't that sort of work both ways? Well, she would wait and see what it was Elka wanted.
[15:09] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) had been turned towards Kindo with her back to Gavin speaking in hushed whispers. As such she wouldn't see the display of..maliciousness? Her day had been one of frustrations, agitations and disappointments and as such she wasn't in the best of moods. Shocker. She did encircle one arm around Kindo's as she spoke, hugging it to her like he was some kind of security blanket. When it came to the elves Elka didn't exactly consider them at war and so she would prance about and come to the Vale when she wanted and how often she wanted. If they had issue with such they could bring it to her attention.
[15:16] Kindo was along for the ride and as much there for the protection of the Alpha as he was to protect others from her. It was a complicated life. He marched with a heavy, awkward mode as she held his arm like a child might hold a favored stuffed bear. His gaze fell forward on Gavin from his station, observing the man for several moments before his crude gesture. The Therian glared at the man, and extended the one free arm out toward him, directing his words toward the man. "Ay! I'd watch tha' ef' I were ya'. " He cautioned the man with a blunt, non-threatening tone.
[15:21] Gavinox: "It ent the finger er nothin and considerin all the threats she gave my friend taday I think its the politest thing I could do." His brows furrowed. "Yer....wotever she is to ya needs some manners. /Sorry/ would be a nice start."
He turned then remembering the un known woman and it was her he gave an apologetic look too. "Sorry, I know I mist look like a-hole. She jes gets under my skin an' seein' er don help none. I ent an ass though I promise.."
[15:24] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) moves to greet the Alpha. She must feel forgiving indeed to visit Emma, so Elka was greeted with a sweet smile and a musical, "Vedui, Alpha. It is good to see you. You have come to mend fences? I hope so. It is not good to have poor relations with close neighbors." The Tari's guards moved with her, silently assessing the situation. They would remain quiet and nonchalant, but they were anything but. The sailor's words caused her to raise an eyebrow. Seemed the Alpha and he must have had some kind of little run in. She told him, "I am Emma. Welcome to The Vale, home of the Eldari," then turned back to Elka, "Is there something you need, Alpha? What brings you to The Vale?"
[15:27] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) turned upon Kindo's gesture toward someone behind her, but it was the voice and then the face that made her groan audibly annoyed that she had run into him again. Instantly her brow furrowed upon hearing him blame her, "Me? All I said was that fae pranks were nothing to worry about if you're befriending vampires." Her mouth clenched shut and her jaw tensed, "-She- is the one who insulted, threatened and reached for her weapon." Of course her attention was pulled to the Tari as she approached, "I've no fences to mend. I gave you my terms and now there is truly nothing that can be done to take back what you have done. No danger has befallen any elves, but they are still not welcome in the forest." Her arms untangled themselves from Kindo's arm to free him from being encumbered by her.
[15:30] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) landed up on top of the roof. She would walk out onto the overhang and sit, ruffling her feathers a bit as she observed what was happening below. Her black, small eyes blinking curiously every now and then and her head tilting just a bit at the different tones of voice and the accents. She made no noise nor did she make her presence known...not that she was hiding, but she preferred to be in the background for now.
[15:33] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) jogs out of the Hall whistling happily and armor plates clanking softly as Eph bounces and bops along.
[15:34] Kindo heard the man speak at his back, growing only annoyed by his stubbornness. Surely Elka's monopoly was enough for him to contend with. With his arm free, he shifted forward and moved to stand just in front of and to Elka's side. He had no idea of what incident the man referred to, but the contention was enough to give Kindo pause. "Sounds' a justified cause ta' be hostile if someone is makin' threats and drawing on their arms." He'd confirm idly to Gavin before pointing his gaze toward the Tari. The situation between the Elves and Singarti was not something he desired or designed upon but he had no room to argue with Elka on the matter.

[15:37] Gavinox: Guards He hadnt seen them! He was too bus glaring at Elka likely, but as the blond woman stepped from the dias in town he saw the guards now move like her shadows. "Oh..." Well.....that was one way to make a first impression. "Alpha?"
The word had Gavins head snap in the direction of Elka again. The personality fit he didnt know /why/ he hadnt put it all together before. "So yer the one tha' bullied Makki." Great, she'd bullied all his friends!.....all to of them......but still! He ws itching to throttle the wolf but he had enough sense not to do so while in someone elses home....and their armed guards...and it was day light.
"Ya know im a vampire and ya insulted vampires and she's my friend a course she were gonna say somethin y daft Bint. An she /said/ somethin. Yer the one tha made threats ta rip er head off and rip her tongue out." He was surprised her boobs hadnt been threatened to be ripped off too! "And ya threw the first attack too ent no one touched you." He was scowling at her now. "Takin some blame fer yer own actions would go a long way ya know."
Gavin just shook his head at the other man. It wasnt Kindo he was upset with so his voice was softer as he said. "No offence mate but ya werent there. She came over ta my friend and I and just started talkin shit. Course people werent gone like that, my friend said somethin, Yer Alpha made threats, an my friend pulled a weapon in defense a said threats."
Then someone was bopping along, and half dressed at that!!!! Turning beat Red all Gavin could do was turn around! ll her bops were.....bopping!
[15:43] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) did not sigh. That would betray an emotion she might feel at the Alpha's words. Her smile was still sweet, her voice still soft and musical. "Now what were your terms, Alpha?" To be honest, Emma hadn't realized that there had been any terms to begin with. "I can't imagine what kind of terms you might wish for my revealing your name." When the sailor explained what had happened, Emma felt a little bit sorry for him. He was up against the ruler of the Singarti--not a comfortable place to be. "There is a saying among the elves, old and proven. Those with great power must needs walk more lightly for heavier steps deal greater damage to those beneath your heals. It is something I have tried to live by." She glanced over at the vampire. What had this young sailor gotten himself into?
[15:50] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) had never met a more delusional soul than this vampire, it was as if he thought vampires were like little kittens to be pet and had as pets and not the monsters they were. Draining folks over their blood with their tainted dark souls. Even -if- he wasn't like that it made him the exception, not the rule. She moved away from Kindo to move closer to Gavin, "Actions have consequences, your friend can't go around insulting and threatening people just because she doesn't agree with them. I believe my words were that you should teach her manners before -someone- removed her head or her tongue. It was just a friendly warning. I can hardly be to blame if you two can't tell the difference between the two, but then I suppose that would explain all the threats and actions you took against me for the warning." She could hardly be bothered to hash this all out -again-. The Tari's questions did nothing to calm her, "As I already said, those terms matter no longer. It's been far too long since my position among the pack has come to light. Only time can possibly heal that wound." Any others were ignored by her for now finding these two to be enough to handle.
[15:53] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) bounces over close to Emmaline. Eph says in conversational tones, "Vedui, my Tari! Hello, one and all! Erm, for the record, I have given the vampire Gavin some grace period for him to properly research his grim predicament. After he discovers the truth, well, we'll take the next step."
[15:53] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) dug her talons into the wood of the post she sat upon. She cling to the thing fo balance as she listened intently to the Alpha and Tari. The vampire was a little out of her range and she was unable to hear what he had said. As Eph wanders in, her attention is drawn to her, possibly looking for a chipmunk she had the other day.
[16:00] Gavinox: "Tha's the point. Yer actions an words 'ave consequences ta. I aint care if yer old, or powerful or an Alpha." And for anyone keeping track he still has his back to everyone cause someone was half nakkie! "Ya can 'ave an oppinion, but ya were tryin ta get a reaction knowin wot I were. So don pretend ta be in the right cause people acted out like ya wanted, and some just 'sayin' somethin doesn mean ya get ta put yer hands on em. Ya over reacted. The fact ya cant see it is damned sad." And though she couldnt see it he rolled his eyes at her. "Friendly warnin." He muttered.
Uh nuuuuh it was the lad with the holy light sword! His day was just getting better and better and THATS who was half naked behind him! He couldnt even turn around to look afraid! "I ent done noooooothin." He half whined.
[16:02] Kindo moved in toward what was rapidly becoming the epicenter of a storm. The storm was nonsensical to the Kindo, and only grew more frustrating as people chipped in one after another. Kindo stepped in front of Elka once more, his hand rising to sit on his belt and glare seated on the Vampire. "I'll nye' ave' ya' insultin' er' again lad. I suggest yer' next words be chosen carefully. " The Smith's temperament wasn't particularly short, though it seemed he was not about to let the Vampire be as free with his words as he might like to be. His gaze flickered over to the Tari and her entourage momentarily, stating to them quite bluntly. "Unless yer' intendin' on protectin' im' and his mouth, I'd suggest steppin' back."
[16:06] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) bowed her head to the Malantur. She wondered if those on the island realized what Ephralia's title actually meant. She was second among the elves only to Emma. In Emma's absence, the Malantur's word was law. Emma shook her head at the Alpha's reply. "I hate to hear that, Alpha. I had hoped that good relations could once again be restored." She glanced over at the vampire sailor and then to Eph. "I believe since you are on Eldari lands, uninvited, that the young man is on quite safe territory here. I will not go as far as to say that wolves are banned from Eldari lands, though it would not be unreasonable to issue that decree, but since no elves have been injured, I will not command it. I do decree, however, that the sailor is safe here. Perhaps it is time for you to head back to Singarti territory." The two guards who had seemed so nonchalant stood a little taller.
[16:12] Rizzo (rizokobold.minotaur) the small monster had traveled far this day... he was deeply lost and mostly blind from being out in the sunlight so long. he clung to the shadows.. not that it did much good. he came around the rise and stoped dead...well not as dead as he would be if he kept walking in elven lands.. he crouched low and his ear twitched as he listened in to the goings on and hoped one of the arches didnt notice him
[16:18] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) peered around Kindo and looked at Emma as if she had suddenly grown extra heads, and scales, perhaps a demon tail even, "You cannot possibly..." Of course she would attempt to go around the man if he allowed it and glared at the Tari, "Is there no end to your insults? You speak of peace and apologies and yet you only throw further insult. You have drawn this line between our kinds and any blood shed from this point on is on your head and your head alone." Turning away from the woman she nudged Kindo and gestured towards the gate to leave, "Elves harboring vampires, next it will be demons. If we stay I fear that I won't stop until the Tari's head is mounted before the den. The very sight of her disgusts me."
[16:20] Nixie (adalori) was futzing around with the basket of fish in her arms as well as fiddling with the gate. She didn't see the occupants of the courtyard until she was already halfway through, peering over the full basket of fish in her arms and blinking, a slight hiss coming from her mouth, listening to everything that was transpiring. Slowly setting that basket down beside her, head cocked to the side with a raised brow, hey she was just here to bring fish dammit....
[16:22] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) fidgeted a little at the Alpha's words. She would lay against the hill she had landed on to try to flatten herself and make herself smaller. Those words did not bode well for either side. She would tilt her head again as she watched wondering what had caused the strife between the Singarti and the Elves.
[16:22] Ephralia: Eph's eyes go a bit wide. Far be it for Eph to contradict the Tari, but defending a vampire .... it's gonna be hard to generate any enthusiasm for that! Eph bides her time, wonders where her chipmunk is, and then spots a raven --- oh! maybe that's where the chipmunk is -- sensibly nestled in some out of sight cranny. Eph narrows her her eyes at Elka. Wow, those were pretty emphatic words. Eph continues to study the pair of wolves, then waves at Nixie, chirping, "Greetings, Idani Nixie!" and bowing deeply. Rizzo so far goes unnoticed by Eph.
[16:24] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) came up behind the Idani before she came to the gate and froze as he heard the alpha's words letting her continue on. He'd take up behind the wall a small distance and listen. Judging by her tone, having the Sinistram around would do no good. He'd lay low and out of sight for now.
[16:26] Gavinox: "She's jes damned Crazy Lady tha's wot it is." He told the Tari...he hadnt caught her name, and wasnt sure of the proper title. Her defense of him, or at least, rather, her allowing him to stay safe and he was betting if he kept his mouth shut...it made him turn back around to face her....even if he did have to look at her and not Ephy just beside her. "Well....thank youh." And he offered her a grateful smile, even if part of this was just do to politics with wolves and Elves....he was grateful.
In all the comotion Gavin didnt take note of those hidding in the shadows, but he did glance Kindos way. "Ya reap wot ya sow mate." He said softly, but thats all he said, and though the other man might not like him he still had no issues Kindo.
Then....then there was a Nixxi , Gavin just stared at her, Blushed until he felt like his head was ging to explode ".............." A topless....beautiful...purdy voiced.......Annnnnnnd the vampire Fainted.
[16:31] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) glanced over at Eph and made gave a hand signal behind her back to the two royal guards. They tended to be a little quick with an arrow when the Tari was threatened. When NIxie appeard, Emma offered her the same sweet smile and soft "Vedui" that she'd given the Alpha. And then the vampire sailor went down. At first, she'd thought Kindo had taken him out, but no....he'd fainted at the sight of Nixie! It was a real stretch of Elven determination not to laugh outloud. What had she done, offering to protect him while he was on Eldari lands....light!
[16:33] Kindo blinked with a fading twinge of dismay touching his features before melting back in to a gruff neutrality. The size of the situation had blown itself wide apart. They stood there, in the exit wound of political discourse and Kindo could only groan. At Elka's nudge Kindo hefted himself with a readiness to march on back home but paused with recognition. Nixie had arrived holding a basket of fish, a smell wafting from her had the bear nearly salivating. He had words to share with the Idani, but this proved itself to be neither the time nor place.

[16:36] Rizzo (rizokobold.minotaur) he needed to watch these...a border conflict? humans vs elves? could get ugly..he needed to find where the borders exactly were before he became a pincushuion of arrows as is usualy the end for kobolds tresspassing in elven lands where he was from. curiosity was going to get him killed one of these days
[16:38] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) watched as the vampire collapsed to the ground, wondering if someone else had done something to cause the reaction and having no idea it was because nudey fish were walking around. She decided to take the long way around the Idani which brought her right next to the vampire. In a swift move, her hand slipped the dagger on her arm from it's sheath and she buried it in Gavin's back with a rough thrust. Then just continued strolling towards the gate as if nothing happened mumbling something about how she had told him to watch his back. Besides if the Tari was going to start a war, she was going to give good reason for their to be one.
[16:44] Ephralia: "Stay your weapons!" Eph undergoes a quick transformation from dopey to commanding as she hisses a whispered command to the pair of royal guards. Eph strides a few paces forward toward the downed vampire, pointedly NOT drawing weapon, though she does snidely remark, "Well, that was real mature of ya! Don't let the gate smack you in the furry ass on the WAY OUT!"
[16:45] Nixie (adalori) took a slight step back in surprise, a perplexed look on her face at the antics of the now downed male, her gaze slid back towards the Singarti pair, ever wary but that perplexion didn't quite leave her features yet.... she didn't see either of those two do anything... and she didn't do anything.... "Greetings Emmaline..." she called softly, voice echoing around them louder than usual with her rather obvious tension. She turned as Elka rounded about her, lips pursed and eyes narrowed on the female, gaze flitting between both Elka and Kindo. She held no allegiance to the downed male though a soft hiss did escape her lips as Elka buried her dagger into his back, shaking her head softly but letting the female pass her by with no comment, turning in place to keep both Elka and Kindo in her sights.
[16:46] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) hadn't realized she was holding her breath as she watched teh Alpha stab the vampire. She looked from the Tari and her guards back to the Alpha and hers. Inwardly, she would cringe. She knew this was going to get messy, she just hadn't thought it would be so immediate.
[16:48] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) held there silently then he'd arch an eyebrow at the sound of steel sinking in to flesh and the order for the guards to hold there place. He'd press against the wall a bit more as he heard footsteps come closer.
[16:54] Gavinox: Whelp, nothing woke up a vampire from swooning quite like a dagger to the back! He screamed. Its all he could do. Hell he didnt even know what the fuck had just happened, He just woke up to the pain and everything side ways. He didnt say a damn thing there wasnt thought for words past the agony and steel thrust into his flesh.
[16:55] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) finally noticed the huge bird up on the rock ledge. She realized that it had been watching the proceedings for quite a while. And then there was the Kobold. Emma had always had a soft spot for Kobolds, and if she had known that Rizzo was there, she would have welcomed him and fed him. She'd never known a Kobold yet who could not be won over by a deer shank. She'd been eying the sailor when Elka marched around the Idani, so she very clearly saw the Alpha stab him in the back. It was clear now what they were dealing with. This kind of vindictiveness was the sign of an uncontrolled animal. And there was no dealing or reasoning with animals. Emma stayed where she was. In this she had no choice for the two guards were now standing, human shields, in front of her. The Alpha had declared war by stabbing the sailor. Emma said, her voice now laced with a magic that swept through the Vale, her voice vibrating with power as she declared, "Let it be known that the Singarti are anathema to the Eldari. No Singarti
[16:55] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx): is allowed on Eldari lands and if they are found there, justice will be served upon their heads." The leaves shook with the power of the Tari's words.
[16:58] Kindo moved forward with Elka, fully expecting to leave immediately with no further conflict. But he couldn't have been more wrong. Her body flinched just barely, smoothly extracting the blade and impaling the unconscious vampire with it. His anger came with a massive inhale as his whole body shifted to pull the kite shield off his back. Situating the shield on his heavily armored arm, he twisted and turned his back to Elka, guarding her backside with a steady hand and eye. He was cautious even through the call for a hold over the Guards. He stepped back in retreat for the gate as the Tari's words rang out, hand hovering over the hilt of his knife in preparation for any assault they might face as they retreat. Kindo's eye fastened onto the form of the Vampire who awoke with screams of pain.

[17:00] his eyes squinted and focused on the human who was standing fine..... then fell over.....THEN he was stabbed...was there some sort of time thingie going on? usualy people fall over after being stabbed if this was how it was here it was so much weirder than he thought. his concern for the fallen man lured him out.. part if hes alive to heal him...and if he was dead he would wonder if anyone was going to eat him....the kobolds tummy growls and he hides
[17:01] Elka Petrova (Adylin Resident) ignored anything and everyone around, listening only for the sound of metal and drawn weapons, but the only sounds she heard was the familiar one of Kindo's movements towards her. Her her chin lifted defiantly and her eyes locked onto the Idani and she stared her down as she walked passed her. Once the mer was out of her sights, she flung the gate open and stepped through making her way back to their own lands. No emotion one way or another showing on her features for what had just been done.
[17:03] Kindo further retreated to the gate, keeping his shield held high until he passed through it and set down on the path out of the Vale.
[17:03] Nixie (adalori) took a step back at the sudden drawing of a shield, hands balling into fists and letting that ethereal glaive of hers materialize in her outstretched hand. A precaution of her own, smirking ever so slightly at Elka, flashing her fangs at her in a mocking nature that perhaps only the Alpha would understand. Watching them go.
[17:05] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) flaps her wings slightly as she feels the weight of the Tari's voice. She would watch the Alpha go and immediately she worried for Aoife. Her gaze strayed back to the Tari and her talons dug into the dirt and rock. She had hoped to gain help from the elves, but now she was unsure...weary of revealing herself after what had just happened with the Alpha, even though she was not Singarti, she was sure they would not welcome shifters in their lands just at this moment.
[17:06] Ephralia: Eph watches the wolves retreat, which of course was wise of them, being heavily outnumbered. She then bends down and latches a fist into Gavin's clothing, hauling him to his feet and frog-marching him a pace or two toward the gate, growling, "Oh, shut it, Gavin. You'll be fine. Wait for nightfall and ... suck a goat or something. By the gods, stop that caterwauling!" Eph plans to toss the vampire bodily out past the gate.
[17:08] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) stepped from the shadows of the gate and smirked as he spotted the dagger. He came forward quickly and knelt by the stranger as Eph dragged him by "Hold still then, have it out in a sec." With that he'd unceremonious yank the dagger out of his back with a smile.
[17:12] Gavinox: Wasnt moving...he sure as hell was caterwalling though! "Get it out!" He had a knife in his back it HURT thank you very much! Picked up and dragged his body protested the movements. "Stop afore ya break me fer real." She might paralyze him or something. Fuck fuck, fuck. He yelled out again.
Then YANK "Fookin bloody 'ell!" He'd been stabbed and then had the damned thing not taken out but RIPPED out. It was soooo not his day. "Wot was tha fer?"
[17:14] Nixie (adalori) hissed lowly under her breath, rolling her eyes at the Hunter. Stepping out of the way and just glad that Elka hadn't spotted her Sin'istram or there would have been quite a bit more blood shed. "Eph, a moment. Why are you throwing him out?" Nixie was throughly confused as to what had escalated everything after all, bending to pick up that basket of fish, letting her blade fade away in a flurry of wisps, wrapping both arms around the large basket to deposit it over near Emmaline.
[17:16] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) would fly up into the tree and rest on one of the brances. She looked down over the group, the yelling the male did made her twitch. Her feathers ruffling and she would caw softly. Her head tilting to gaze at Eph dragging him out then back towards the Tari when she finally spots her. She would move back on the branch a bit to try to be more hidden, even though she knew the elf had seen her.
[17:18] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) still held the magic, breathing deeply. It was a little like letting go a lightning bolt while holding back the electricity, but she did it, the elemental magic seeping away. Finally, she let out that final breath and said to the Idani, "Diola lle, Idani Nixie, for the fish." Emma's eyes went to the bird and she called to it, "Show yourself, friend. You are among friends here." Light...were vampires able to shift into birds? It would be her luck!
[17:21] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) allows Sin'istram to take the knife, then winces at the renewed howls, then growls to Gavin, "I can't heal a vampire, duh. Nobody here can, I'd wager a few dozen wolf pelts. Count yourself lucky the wolf had steel instead of a wooden stake." to Gavin, then pauses and answers Nixie, still keeping a grip on the nigh hysterical Gavin, "He's a vampire. But more than that, he's a total pest. I promised I wouldn't kill him until he's researched his own condition, but that doesn't mean I have to abide his presence!" Eph speechifies, then resumes unsympathetically attempting to toss Gavin out into the forest.
[17:22] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) smiled as he looked the blade over then quite lovingly sheathed it on his belt. He smiled to Eph, "Never a dull moment with you elves, I'll give you that." He'd point over the the Idani and the offered fish. "Come to give you a bit of an offering and I come away with a prize of my own, perhaps more fish is in order I think."
[17:23] when he hears the elf say come out you are among friends...he didnt think she was talking to a bird. he hesitated and stepped forward and closed his eyes waiting for arrow shots
[17:27] Gavinox: "Ey! Ey! I jes 'ad a knife in my back I ent up fer runnin around like a loon! Get oooff." Then he huffed at her. "I ent a pain...." In fact he looked hurt at the notion. "Where are you taking me?" He was pouting now. He didnt do anything wrong why was she dragging him off to be eatten by wolves?! Cause out on his own with a back injury thats what was likely to happen. "The other lady said I could stay."
[17:31] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) gaze traveled from the bird to the Kobold. It just went to prove that one could never know what each day could bring. Word would have to be gotten to the Battle Spears. Things could get a little sticky in The Vale, to put it mildly. She motioned to the Kobold. "Vedui, little friend. Are you hungry?" Emma turned quickly toward the vampire sailor. "Numa...no, young vampire." Her voice was silky, a definitely more dangerous voice than any she'd used previously. "I believe that I said you were under my protection from the wolves while you were on Eldari lands." Emma would leave him to Ephralia. When she turned back toward the bird, it was gone.
[17:33] Nixie (adalori) nodded slowly, "All they need is to drink the blood of someone Eph. Much the way Siren do though I would think none would wish to make that sacrifice?" as Emmaline let her breath out Nixie would smirk ever so softly. She knew that feeling of holding back magic in her voice though she never had quite been able to stop the unearthly quality of her heritage. Sighing and hissing lowly under her breath. "It is not an issue. They were brought in good faith though it seems that timing was also in your favor. At least under the waves we are at peace and do not have those we do not wish wandering through our lands.... shaking her head. "Why is there such an issue with the vampire though?" was it simply because he was a vampire? Her tone was curious, moving to stare at the one Eph was dragging out. "Is there something we can do to help in this situation Emmaline?" referring to the fiasco with the wolves of course.
[17:35] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) hops down from the ledge hesitantly. She would shift but there were too many people here. She eyed the kobold wearily, not wanting to become dinner for the creature. She would hop a little closer to the Tari instead of the kobold and caw softly.
[17:37] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) he nods and steps forward. he was very confused one elf was givng a human the bums rush... and the other elf was offering him food...was he being invited to eat the human? "vendui matron.. thank yoo for food...but me dont eat hoomans....alive.. or armed..."
[17:37] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) makes his way out from the building behind him, his feet merely inches off the ground as he drifted and hovered like a phantom, his speed coming in little bursts every now and then with his movement, his eyes glowing brightly under his hood as he approched Emma's side, placing a silent hand on ehr shoulder
[17:38] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) hears Emma and Nixe and nods to them with a smile, then reminds Gavin in not-unkind tones, "I am a member of the Order of Numinous Blades. I am sworn to kill all your kind. The end of your existence is inevitable. I think I have been quite generous in allowing you to experience that last, fading remnants of your humanity as you descend into unholy debasement and dark servitude. My hope is that you will come to grips with reality, realize your fate, and peacefully, sadly, wisely, and with eyes fully open end your own journey to the service of Darkness. If my treatment is harsh, then let it be an early lesson. It is a mere taste of what is to come if you ever become a REAL vampire." Eph just calmly tells him the truth as she sees it.
[17:42] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) told Nixie, "I am afraid it was doomed from the beginning. The Alpha got what she came for--more trouble with the Elves. I may take you up on your offer for help, but for now, we will patrol our lands, paying extra close attention to our borders." Emma hated conflict, actually, but she was not one to back down from a fight, not unless the odds were overwhelmingly against them. At the Kobold's words, Emma grinned. "That is too bad, friend Kobold, for you would solve some problems I think if you did, but I was referring to a nice roasted haunch of venison. You look a little thin for a Kobold." She smiled up at Mystogan, which was all she could do since he was taller than anyone else she knew. "You missed the excitement, Mystogan." When the bird hopped toward her, Emma nodded, relieved. She'd thought it had been frightened off. She said to it, her musical voice laced with peace and welcome, "The Singarti have chosen this path. Shifters, in themselves, have nothing to fear from the elves.
[17:44] Gavinox: Blinked and turned his head....carefully, to Emma. "But..." Well he hadnt been very protected! "Why cant I stay?" He wasnt looking to move in just not be tossed out on his ass after being stabbed in the back. She also sounded....mad at him? "Wot I do?" IT asnt him that stabbed somebody on her property. It wasnt him that mouthed off to her. What was going on now?
"E-ey yeh why such an issue wit me?" He asked on the tail end of Nixi's question.
With a grump his head slid down to stare up at Eph as she tugged him along. "Ya want me ta come ta terms wit some day imma be murding asshole? No thanks. It ent bein a vampire that makes people nutto its jes them choosin ta say fuck it." A curse was a curse he was what he was, but couldnt he still /chose/ to not be a dick?
[17:44] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) smirked as Eph told off the Vampire and leaned against the tree nearby. On seeing Myst veritably materialize out of no where he'd smirk and nod to the specter like man. He'd hold his peace for the moment and listen to all those nearby before eventually meandering to the Idani's side.

[17:49] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) glances to the large bird and ponders for a bit but his ears perk and drool flows from his muzzle theres a bit of suspision in him "the venison is a dead ...roasted...venis thing?...already dead..me no need to get betten up by it...its already cooked...right? so me dont need to do the cooking?" he tried to find the catch..where the elf would make profit in tormenting him and didnt see it
[17:49] Nixie (adalori) listened quietly to everyone's explanations of things, head tilted slightly but aside from that she kept silent on the matter, her brow pursed a bit in her familiar pondering face. Her gaze flickered over to the male by Emma's side, giving him a nod of greeting and peering at his feet with narrowed gaze... how was he doing that?! Shaking her head and sighing softly. "Simply toss something shiny into the water, it wil summon my guards and they can fetch me if you require my presence of help Emmaline. Nothing too valuable, they have been given orders to return it but some of them can be quite covetous...." nodding her head and letting out one more sigh. "My work is not finished this evening however and I have limited time on dry land. I must bid you farewell after ensuring this was safely delivered to you." gesturing down to the basket of fish.
[17:50] Ephralia Valor (Ephralia Resident) "Go on believing, Gavin. But for now, scat. I can't stand the sight of you. It's all I can do right now to NOT just cut your head off. Go!" Eph attempts to pushe him out and then would close the gate on him.
[17:53] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) nervous around all these people she would look up at the TAri when she spoke to her. She would tilt her head at her words, hardly believing after what had happened that the elf would welcome her still. The bird would take a deep breath and caw softly before her body began to contort and twist, looking very painful as her limbs started to elongate and the feathers began to fall away.
[17:54] Mystogan Vokunkiin (damien.huet) wasnt sure why, but he felt like beingt extra ghostly today, he would let out an etheral like chuckle and use it in his voice"I always seem to miss the best parts of our struggle dont I?" he said with a slight echo in his dark and gravelly voice, still just floating inches away from the ground, using his flight ability and weather control ability to keep his cloak flowing behind him
[17:55] Merialeth Windstar (caireannliadan) nodded again as Cedar spoke, her soft "Indeed..." knowing full well that she'd make -sure- that would not be an issue. Hearing the voices from beyond the gate though, made her brows rise and she'd slip around Cedar with a quickly apologetic look to push the gate open ad peruse those within. Partially looking for Emma and partially to see what had Eph in such a tizzy. "Vedui' everyone..." her gaze alighting on Emma then over to Eph and Gavin with a tilt of her head then back towards Emma and Nixie again before moving their direction, figuring Cedar would follow.
[17:57] Apparently as they went through the gate, a man was being forced out! Cedar eyed this attempt by the armored blonde with a cocked brow and sideways look that had her lips pursing and her head shaking from side to side. "Seems as though there's no small amount o' agitation, eh Meri?" the fae murmured as they walked. But soon she spied Emma and -- well, she couldn't be quite sure but she thought perhaps it was the Idani with whom she'd had tea once before. Cedar didn't speak however, only meandered up to them after Meri, she'd wait a pinch to see what the topic was of conversation and the general atmosphere at that.
[17:58] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) bowed to the Idani, "And we, too, are here if you need us. Though we cannot join you in the water, we are here for you on the land. And diola lle... thank you, for the fish. They are always welcome. She called for an npc servant who hurried to her and she told him, "Get our little friend here," and she motioned toward the Kobold, "that haunch of venison. All of it." She knew just how much a Kobold could eat! She told the Kobold, "No, friend, you do not have to kill it or cook it. The meat is yours." When the bird began to shift, Emma nodded. She'd been correct. Emma gave a short bow of her head to both Meri and Little Tree. At least they were not coming upon a bloody battle. There were things to be thankful for.

[18:02] Sin'istram (w0mbraider Resident) smirked and fell quiet a moment as he heard yet more people coming. At the sound of Meri's voice he'd turn to her direction and nod in greeting. The Hunter never like crowds, even if they made it easier to slip away.
[18:03] Taegen V'hoori (alyxz.marenwolf) came up the pathway and entered the main area of the Vale with a soft little hum. It was a nice evening for her so far, it had been quiet and peaceful for the most part but there was a obvious buzz of commotion at the top of the stairs. Bare feet pattered quickly up the remaining stretches of stone and tiptoed down the path in curiosity, sheepishly peering out over the crowd of people with a set of wide green eyes. Well there was that. The numbers. Her gaze danced to each face while an elongated ear twitched at a familiar voice amongst the gathered. Where? No. Nope. Definitely not. There. Her line of sight rested on the usually nonchalant little vampire whom seemed to be contesting a redheaded woman while on the ground bleeding. Well, that was unfortunate. A frown crawled over her freckled features and the feathered appendages at her back ruffled with a burst of confidence as she skittered up the armor bearing woman who seemed to be ushering her friend from the area. "Excuse me!" she waved a hand as she chirped and hovered over the man. "Ill take him out. Dont kill him. Please." The avariel cleared her throat, heart thudding in her chest and peered down at Gavin. "He wont come back." The woman spoke with little to no knowledge of what the hell was even going on but... This was the only familiar face she had on the isle at the moment. A friend. She rather not see him destroyed.
[18:03] Rizzo the Kobold (RizoKobold Minotaur) goes toward the NPC servent and watches him looking for reluctance or some sign of a trap....confidence building a bit "yeah...what she said.....and no skimpin on the meaty goodness" he follows after the elf until he is out of sight with the elf . murmured paranoid questions can be heard off in the distance
