Entry 1:
Shade Rot
Symptoms: The following is an excerpt from a book on Divine and Unholy Afflictions "symptoms of simple scratch marks that turn to burns or become increasingly infected. All emit a putrid oder of that of a dead corpse. As days progress the subject becomes weaker physically but sometimes easily agitated to the point of turning on loved ones and friends aggressively. It recalls people suffering from hallucinations, fever, and may go show signs of what is usually seen in the common flu. The last paragraph is rather short and simple, explaining that many patients suffering die on the... " The last sentence was smudged, and I could not determine what it meant to say.
"For whatever reason, Shade Rot has never been passed from one host to another. Yet from the way the book reads, is easily contracted by it's source, the Shadeling's themselves. There is no explanation on how or why. Though its documented 2 out of 5 people that come in contact with the demonic presence on the Isle have contracted it".
Cure: The Book talks about "patients being cured through divine blessings by Predicants of Valesk or through the use of Holy water. Predicants with the spell "Cure Disease" are able to relieve Shade Rot from a sufferer. It is written that Holy water has been taken from around the shrine of Valeska. " Dosage: one vial of holy water once a day for a week. Can also be applied topically.

Entry 2 - (Crudely drawn Balwrath - large bat monster)
Balwrath poison - presents itself like any other venom, but it is magical in origin, so it cannot be treated exactly like other venom.
Those who have been poisoned can experience pain, fever, delusions, restless sleep
Cure: Purified or blessed water, plus the detox herbal formula, with a jolt of magic. Making 3 doses.
[(spend 1 magic, not permanently). Each dose gives the drinker a +5 on their next Resolve roll to beat the poison]
