Aphodite:
One of the more bizarre products of Valeskian waters, “meerschaum” (or Aphrodite in common) a soft white mineral, suggestive of sea foam. As the foam dries in the sunlight it can come to possess a consistency similar to clay which has benefited the more crafty races of the Isle. Exclusive to only Valesk, The Rusalka make the most beautiful items with it by combining it with precious dusts and natural coloring. It enhances the possessor with privilege, giving them charisma and luck. Ideal for arrow-heads, bolt-heads, throwing knives and daggers as well as jewelry.
Location found: If anyone knows about about Aphrodite it is The Rusalka! It is found floating amongst the Valeskian ponds, lagoons and river ends where ocean meets sweet waters, harvested zealously by sea dwelling denizens, proper exchange for Aphrodite is expected and must be approved.

While Aphodite is a material found within the waters of the Valesk, it is an uncommon material and requires approval from either an Admin or the Merfolk Lead to take, use, or sell. There is no exception for this rule. Even the Rusalka lead needs approval from an Admin.
Aphodite has some rules and regulations that must be adhered to, to use Aphodite within the Isle of Valesk.
Aphodite Rules:
1. In Character permission must be given from the Rusalka Lead.
2. If the Lead is not available, the permission must be asked from an Admin or SW
3. If you get permission from an Admin or SW, you MUST RP with them to get the Aphodite.
4. If you try to steal the Aphodite from the Rusalka, you MUST RP with either the Lead, an Admin, or a SW who will play as the guards that keep watch over the Aphodite stock piles.
5. If you re successful in stealing Aphodite, be aware that the guards (i.e. SW or Admin) will ICly make the Lead aware and your character WILL find IC consequences.
6. Aphodite is guarded and hoarded jealously, and it will NEVER be an easy substance to get, steal, or come by.
Aphodite Regulations:
1. Aphodite will never be sold for anything less than 50 silver per bar.
2. Aphodite requires a social standing of 4 to gain it easily.
3. No one not purchase anymore than 2 bars in a month from the Rusalka.
4. Aphodite will never be sold unless payment is given first.
5. Every sale MUST go through the Rusalka Lead (or an Admin should the lead not be available)
6. Every Aphodite sale WILL be recorded on the Rusalka forums.
7. Aphodite will NEVER be sold to any enemy of the Rusalka.
8. Aphodite will NEVER be sold in large quantities.
9. The Lead alone (along with the mer blacksmiths) holds the secret to making Aphodite, and any you may gather throughout the realm, will be RAW form, and worth almost nothing (it resembles sea foam in raw form and looks pretty useless). The recipe for purified/clean Aphodite is passed from Leader to Leader. Not even the council knows.
10. Blacksmiths MAY be able to figure out how to purify or make Aphodite, but they require a knowledge rank of 4 or higher and Admin permission to do so ICly.
