Howdy! (New Owner)

Strawman draft of ranks in the smithy.

The following are IC ranks, and can be obtained at character creation, or by ranking up via roleplays. A very experienced smith might just land at Valesk, and that's a good thing. Or a smith might increase their skill with time - another good thing.

0. Forge Master (owner) & Forge Manager (second) - These are just administrative titles.

1. If you have "Master" in your title, you have the "master smith" and at least 2 metallurgy perks. Master Smiths may prefer to specialize, such as:
Master Jeweler
Master of Weapons
Master of Armor
Master of Artifice

2. If you have "Journeyman" in your title, you can work with all the common materials (bronze, iron, steel, gold, and silver coatings) with confidence. The exotic materials are a challenge, however.

3. If you have "Apprentice" in your title, the Master Smith will trust you with workaday iron and bronze, but you are mostly a student, building your muscles, sharpening your eye, expanding your bag of tricks.

Loyalty ranks.

Smithy ranks are 2-dimensional! As a smith works longer and longer at the smithy, they earn the trust of the Forge Master and her second. This comes with IC increased salary.

1. Noob. Completed zero orders. Zero trust by the Forge Master. Every job will be watched like a hawk.
2. Mebbeso. Completed 2 orders.
3. Haspromise. Completed 5 orders. Gains a salary level of a silver a week.
4. Keepthisone. Completed 10 orders. Two silvers a week.
5. Partner. Completed 15 orders. Complete trust by the Forge Master and staff. Shares in smithy profits.
