[11:46] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) turns from gazing into the spring when she hears footsteps. "Oh, Nadora! Vedui, Cousin. How is Eldari life suiting you? I have to say, you make a most lovely elf."
[11:49] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) smiles as she approaches the Tari. She had just been in the library...always studying. "Vedui, Tari. It has been so much better, I have to say. The confusion I used to have is all but gone and my magic has returned to normal."She blushes softly at the Tari's compliment and bows her head slightly in thanks. "You are too kind, Tari, thank you. How fare you this fine day?"
[11:49] Amras Aerandir (amraskensa) strode into the elven city, not because he really wished to be there, but because he needed the help of his... 'cousins'.... He didn't much care to be around the more, proper, elves mostly because the majority of them looked down on him before being what he was, that, and being raises as a Garou conflicted with elven principals. At least the elves respected the forest and her creatures... Which made them endless more bearable then the damned humans. What he needed was to see how one should act properly in society. He had found himself to be less than tactful and given he was now the mate of the alpha, he needed to discover some social niceties. Who better than to go to the most socially fanatic people he knew? High elves... Upon coming to the well however, his head cocked to the side so violently his neck cracked. "Emmaline?!" He said, much louder than necessary but seriously, what the fuck was she doing there?!
[11:52] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) turned at the call of her name and almost choked, a bright, disbelieving smile on her face. "Amras? Amras Aerandir? As I live and breathe....is it really you?" She moved toward him, holding out both hands. "Light! I can hardly believe my eyes. How did you ever end up on Valesk?"

[11:54] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) BEFORE that post....She told Nadora, "The day is as pretty as you are, and so far there has been no devastating announcements or attacks, so all in all. it has been a pretty good day." She chuckled and turned at the call....
[11:56] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) smiles at the Tari's words, that was always a good day when there were no threats. She tilts her head watching the exchange between the two. She smiles a little. The Tari sure knew a lot of people, though she supposed that was the way of things when you were a leader. She bows her head to the male. "Vedui." She says in greeting, she was a bit cautious around people she didn't know, so she didn't approach any closer.
[12:06] Amras Aerandir (amraskensa) blinked towards the once elven queen of a land distant from here, a disbelieving look on his face as he glanced towards her hands and hesitated, unsure what the gesture meant... So he went with his gut and simply bear hugged the tiny elf, she would find his scent was very similar to what it had been when she had known him last. "Emmaline Anundr..." He said as he drew back and eyed her again before he laughed a bit and shook his head. Their dealings in the past had usually left them both more than a little irritated with one another due to conflicting opinions. "I followed my nature, ended up with the Garou here. Sekai decided I was suitable as a mate and there you have it." His eyes flicked towards Nadora and he nodded towards her, shooting her a lovely carefree smile. "To you as well." He glanced between the two women. "Apparently I am socially inept so I decided to seek out my socially acceptable, obnoxious, cousins to figure out how not to enrage everyone I talk to..."
[12:09] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) laughed. This sounded like the Amras she remembered! "Of course, I will help you! We'll start with an introduction. She motioned toward Nadora and said formally, "Amras Aerandir, Singarti Dolu, may I introduce to you Nadora Toza, Eldari and soon to be member of the Elven Court." She grinned and added in a whisper, "Now, you bow from the waist and greet her politely."
[12:13] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) laughs at his explanation as to why he's here. Elves weren't really -that- bad! Though, she had to admit to herself that she did like order and politeness probably a little too much. She bows her head again as she speaks. Her voice soft and holding a serene and calming tone. "Saesa omentien lle, <<Pleasure meeting you>> Amras Aerandir, Singarti Dolu."
[12:15] Amras Aerandir (amraskensa) gazed towards the woman Nodora when she was introduced. His striking green eyes seemed to look through her for a moment and he snorted a laugh at the mention of the elven court before he shuddered. "Court..." He said, remembering the arguments he used to get into whenever he chose to attend one of those meetings in the past. "Well met still, and best of luck not killing anyone." He said with a small nod. He could still taste the rage that was dredged up in court.... He glanced towards Emma then rolled his eyes just a bit before he faced Nadora. "Vedui Arwenamin.<Greetings My Lady.>" he said as politely as he could before he bowed slightly, still holding her gaze. He glanced towards Emma, his brow's lifted a bit to see if he did well or not.
[12:18] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) nodded, still smiling. "That will do. Let's see, what else would be good for you to know?" She tapped her chin, thinking. "I know! Make sure to help a lady to rise from a chair, hold open a door for her, allow those your seniors to enter before you, and...and....if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!" She outright laughed aloud. "Oh, Amras. It is good to see you."
[12:22] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) laughs again at Amras' words and shakes her head. "I'm usually the one trying to stop people from killing each other, but thank you I'll do my best to minimize the bloodshed."She'd grin a little. She smiles at Emma and the male, it was clear they were old friends. She would reach up and run her fingers over Gethin's wing as he cawed softly to her. She would simply nod at the falcon, whatever he had said she agreed with. "And it is always good to be polite to all, even when they do not deserve it." She adds a bit of her own thoughts to the "training". It never hurt anyone to be kind to someone else, even if they were mean. Who knows what that person may be going through....Oh Gods...she -was- that bad! Inwardly cringes as her thoughts get all sappy and stuff.
[12:25] Amras Aerandir (amraskensa) gave Emma a look when she said help a female up from her seat. "Why...? They do not need the help." He pointed out, not understanding. "They are able to open doors as well..." He murmured thoughtfully but just shook his head. "Very well... Treat women as if they were enfeebled...." He favored Nodora with an easy smile. He really was a lighthearted large wild elven Garou through and through. "This will take practice..." He muttered before his face lit up a bit and he bent to murmur something in the Tari's ear. "Apologies... This is something that must remain private." He'd say to Nadora as he straightened, thinking maybe telling secrets in front of someone was rude... "Polite at all times... Even when I am trying to kill an irksome poacher?"
[12:27] Emmaline Anundr Aldin (emmaline.mynx) was quick to assure him, "Numa, you do not have to be polite to irksome poachers," and she is about to give him another example when she is stopped right in the middle of their conversation by Kaylin who approaches, bows, and says, "Forgive me, Tariamin, but Cook has sent me to see if you would come look at the ducks he's prepared. Something about a "dirty, lowdown, cheat of a market vendor." Kaylin couldn't hide her grin. "Emma told her, "Uma, i will come in a moment." She shook her head and said, "Forgive me, I need to see to this before Cook gets busy with that cleaver of his." ((see ya, guys! Gotta get ready for the party!))
[12:30] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) tilts her head at the male and laughs softly, shaking her head. "I meant while in polite company of course." She lost her smile just a bit, hoping that the pack hadn't mistaken Lucas as a poacher. Curiosity getting the better of her, she speaks to Amras again. "You seem to be speaking and behaving quite well here, who said that you do not know how to behave correctly?"
[12:34] Amras Aerandir (amraskensa) snorted a laugh and shook his head a bit. "I am the mate of our alpha... I need to be better than, 'quite well'... I am certain there will be times I need to speak for the pack and it would be best if I did not inadvertently cause a war." He said with a sigh. "As for whom, we'll just say I do not keep things to myself as I should."
[12:35] Sarah Black (saarrah) arrives in a place and recognizes the eldari on her left, but not the man she is talking with. she shyly waves to the lady with a smile, but makes no move to come closer.
[12:38] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) laughs softly and bows her head a little in acknowledgment. "I see. I agree it would be good not to cause war inadvertently. "She smiles a little when she listens to his comment of keeping things to himself. "There is a trick I use for that. When I was a child, I lived with my grandmother. She was the sweetest lady I know. Now, before I say something, I think...Would grandmother want to hear this? If it is not something that would be fit for her to hear, I do not say it. Think of someone you respect highly and put that into practice when you are tempted to say something you probably shouldn't." Waves her hand to Sarah and offers her a friendly smile, calling out to her though she doesn't move closer. "Vedui, Sarah." Gethin caws out to her in greeting as well as he lands back on her shoulder after having gone off to capture himself a grasshopper to eat.
[12:42] Amras Aerandir (amraskensa) watched her intently as she gave him further advice. His brow furrowed thoughtfully. Given the fact he did not have family who were in fact prim and proper, it took him a moment to select someone he would actually watched what her said while being around them. As she greeted Sarah, he looked towards the woman curiously before looking back towards Nadora and nodding. "I will consider what you've said." He said with a faint smile. Putting it into practice would be far from easy however.
[12:44] Sarah Black (saarrah) made a few steps forward, encouraged by the friendly attitude. still at a respectful distance, she returned the salutation, "vedui, nadora. how is your day today?" then she smiled again and made a couple more steps forward.
[12:46] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) laughs a little and nodded her head just slightly. "I hope that I have been of some help. It takes practice, do not be too hard on yourself if you mess up a few times. Gods know I did when I was younger, but it does get easier, I promise."She offers the male a friendly smile before her gaze turns back to Sarah. "Very well Sarah, thank you. And yours? I hope the day finds you well."
[12:50] Amras Aerandir (amraskensa) nodded towards Nadora. "I am certain I will be around the Vale fairly often to have dealings with you proper little elves." he said teasingly, which would be how he would get his practice of course. He shifted then so Sarah wasn't standing behind him, he really wasn't comfortable with people lurking where he could not see them...
[12:53] Sarah Black (saarrah) smiles. "oh yes the day is beautiful. i was tracking a big black wolf, not to kill him, i still don't have a hunting knife, but to practice my hunting and better know how animals react in this place. i need to hone my skills, in case someday i would be asked to protect a community." she salutes the man, "vedui, i'm sarah black. i hunt, i fish and i look for special plants and herbs."
[12:56] Nadora Toza (marissa.ludlow) laughs at Amras' words again. "We are not always proper but hopefully we will be when you're here."She grins, quite enjoying the company. She was usually pretty solitary but with the sun shining and no immediate threats, she was in a good mood. "Oh that's nice Sarah, just be careful you don't get too close to the creature, it could become startled and attack without realizing you mean it no harm." She had learned that the hard way when she was learning how to speak to animals and she had the scars on her arm to prove it.
