Within the Rusalka, all Merfolk may take up a path within the shoal to help aid the council in their day to day duties and responsibilities. Four paths are open to the Rusalkan people who wish to gain rank within the shoal. The following information is about those ranks, how to gain them, how to progress through them, and what each rank's responsibilities are.
Each Council member is in charge of their Sienbel who choose that path.
Should no council member be present to regulate these Sienbel, the Monarch will take over watching over that rank for its' Seinbel.
Rusalkan Sienbel Paths & Ranking
Ťiald's Path ~ Healers
Healers are a very important part of any group. Merfolk require specific healing, that not many landers would understand or have knowledge of. The Tiald of the Merfolk guides the healers of the Rusalka and teaches them to heal their own kin the proper way.
Ranking
Rank 1 - Entrant

(magical healers MUST follow sim rules and character rules for magical healing)
To gain this rank: Speak with the Tiald to begin this path.
Rank 2 - Beginner
Once a Merfolk healer gains some knowledge of their job, and has some hands on training, they may begin to move up the ranks. This second rank is for Merfolk healers who have proven their skills and aided the Tiald in healing Merfolk around the shoal.
To gain this rank: Aid the Tiald in 2 instances of healing Merfolk.
Rank 3 - Adept
As the healer grows, learns, and progresses in their journey as a healer, they begin to learn new things, new ways to use herbs, salves, or tinctures. This rank is where Merfolk healers learn more about healing, and begin using advanced methods of healing.
To gain this rank: Study in the bookstore or Merfolk study to learn new ways to heal fellow Merfolk. A test will be given to test this new knowledge.
Rank 4 - Elder
Merfolk healers eventually reach a rank of elder healer. This rank helps the Tiald by healing those who require it when the Tiald is not around. Elders do not need the Tiald or another healer guiding them or watching over them. This is the highest rank of the Merfolk healers and this rank is usually a good place to find a new Tiald should something happen to the current or previous one.
To gain this rank: Another test will be given for Merfolk healers will be given to be sure the soon to be elder can heal on their own safely.
(NOTE: one must still apply for Tiald should one NOT be in office. Tiald is chosen by the OOC lead.)
