The journals posted in this forum are meant to track your approved character progression. After character creation, Valesk offers a means for character's to improve Traits, learn Skills, and learn new Spells through roleplay. If you haven't already, and you are interested in this progression, please take a look at our webpage that goes over Character Progression, then fill out an application.
How do character progression journals work?
Once your progression app has been approved, an Application Handler will get in touch with you to discuss any of your roleplay ideas. After, you will be given roleplay requirements, and possibly even time length requirements, that need to be met. These journals are where you submit any roleplays relevant to your progression. This is the player's responsibility and logs should not be sent to any Application Handlers.
Please remember, until your roleplay and time requirements have been met AND an Application Handler has gotten in touch with you to let you know everything looks good, you cannot use your improved trait rank, new skill, or new spell in roleplay.

- Create a new Thread. Please put: Character Name (Second Life Name) as the title of the thread. This will allow your journal to be used for any future character progression!
- Post relevant roleplays to your Thread. At the top of each post, please reference what progression you are submitting your roleplay for (i.e. For Reflex Improvement; For Cat's Grace; For Animal Companion). This is especially important for any character's working on more than one thing at a time! PLEASE: Give each roleplay scene it's own post on your thread. This makes it easier for tracking and reading. Please also clean your logs before posting - we don't need to read how many people logged on or off during your roleplay or any script messages that were sent.
- Notify your Application Handler. Once you've met all roleplay and time length requirements, and all logs have been submitted to your progression journal, notify your Application Handler that you're finished so they can look everything over. If for some reason you can't get ahold of your Handler, or you don't remember who they were, you can let any Handler know and they will pass your message on or get another to look your submissions over instead.
- Wait to hear back. Give your Application Handler about 48 hours to get back in touch with you. Most will not need to wait that long, and some may even be taken care of in the same day, but you DO need to wait to hear back from one of us that you're all set and requirements satisfied.
- Rock your new Trait Rank, Skill, or Spell in RP! Once we've gotten back in touch with you and told you everything looks good, then the progression you were working on is complete and can be put into effect on sim. Rock on with your bad self.
Please remember, until your roleplay and time requirements have been met AND an Application Handler has gotten in touch with you to let you know everything looks good, you cannot use your improved trait rank, new skill, or new spell in roleplay.
