Resolve 6-to-7: A Pleasant Meal with no surprises
The alchemist has been hard at work that even during the poetry reading he could hardly stay awake. Asi escorted him back to the house where a meal was prepared. The meal was mighty delicious, but as seafood tends to do -the lingering after taste is fairly unpleasant to Cynric. He consumed some poisonous herbs to refresh his palate- but it seemed luck was on his side this day as he suffered no ill effects.
[17:44] Aradhelon Malethlhl Mont D'or finished a third glass of gin with a small wobble, holding onto a quarter of the liquid left as he offered a wobbly clap for the poem. "Wonderful! Fabulous! I shall.. Now go upstairs, and check upon Tsuyu!" He announced, and started to wobble towards the stairs, gin in hand. Not a good combination for talking to the lady he was after...
[17:44] Kynaston Chasin likely awoke from his slumber from the being pushed off- if not by the claps given close to his ear. As he was feeling the resistance of the ground against him, the tug on his feet and the like- he did come fully to- get up, dust himself off, and seek to walk out beside Asi, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
[17:46] The Den Mother (valerievixxen) grinned at Casi..."Well, pah-haps anothah time...A lady needs a lahgah audience, aftah all..." she'd state, before turning and looking sternly at her son..."Watch you-ahsailf, dahlings. We don't need any bastahds running about claiming Mont-d'Or lineage...|
[17:48] Asi obviously believes the collective praise his poem received, and thus felt more clever and in better understanding of humanoid art forms overall. T'was just a shame Kynaston missed it, but that was fine, clearly the man needed to be stuffed with food products and tucked into bed.
[17:50] Kynaston Chasin was not reluctant in the lease to head back on in to their little cabin in the middle town section. He had clearly missed all the good stuff! but at least he got a quick nap in. "Enjoy it?" he inquired.
[17:55] Asi releases his sleepy human once inside their home, quick to bee-line for the little kitchen area. Specifically for the one micro cabin turned into a fridge, as he kept it well stocked with ice. From it he produces a lobster, poor man's food for the times, and sets to work risking his health to start a fire whilst plopping the lobster in the sink. "I told a poem," he states rather proud of himself. "It was will recieved, but it was not as good as the man with the abs' was, I will learn."
[18:05] Asi continues working on food, a sizable cauldron put upon the stove, scoop of fat added to hit, melt then simmer. In the sink he gets to work with pushing a claw through the lobster's brain, making all kinds of sure it was dead, then drops that sucker into the fat to cook and get delicious. Next came the onions, green and shallot, a bouquet of herbs, and some tomatoes, all taken to Cynric's table to work with, nails all cantripped into knives for fine, very fine, mincing of the onions. Once the shallots, green onions, were all good and herbs tied up they go into the pot too. Tomatoes would just take a bit to prepare in smashing and mixing.
[18:05] Kynaston Chasin was probably thankful of the support - because he had went from being completly asleep to moving very quickly he had a bit of a headrush that brought a woozy lightness to him especially when desending the step steps. He made it in fairly alright though, and seemed a bit more refreshed from the short exercise bout. He seemed about to say something, stop him, but already the fire was lit, and he only shook it off. "Oh? Now that is a true same that I have came to miss it. Maybe sometime you will receit it again so I can hear it? But I am pleased to hear it was well received atleast."
[18:14] Asi worked hard to make a paste of the tomatoes, just mashing the shit out of them and mixing them, again, with a bit of fat and starch, but also crashed pepper and home made worchister sauce snuck in with the various potions Cynric made. The pond kept itself at night, it seemed. "I sit there and stare. It would stare back, if it could. But it's eyes are gone," he replies over his shoulder, smiling lovingly at the human, before he has to run for the lobster once he hears cracks. That beast is promptly pulled from the pot and dropped in the sink with all the wincing and hissing steam that came from the elemental touching it's bane. From there he was quite busy dismantling the giant sea roch for it's meat.
[18:17] Kynaston Chasin seemed a bit concerned over Asi's sudden interest in his potions- especially as he pulls out one that Cynric did not quite reconize or now the effects to add on into the dinner. "Umm...I do hope you are not seeking to kill me as that could end just as badly for you." He chuckled nervously, as it did not bode well in his mind that Asi was playing about his work area. "Is that a poam you thought up form your times as a pond, or from something you have seen or have about here?" He tried to puzzle out the meaning. "We should look into getting some tongs and other utensiles. I know you do not injury easily, but I still worry for you."
[18:30] Asi falters a bit in his craft as Cynric remarks something about trying to kill him. A stilling of hands, head hung a bit and clearly, quite clearly, saddened by such a statement. But then he simply returns to work, sailing at half mast while he seperates taste meat from carcass, carcass going into a smaller pot of it's own and placed upon the heated flat top. "It is watching faces deteriorate and become food," he replies, evidently referring to bodies his pond held. No remark made on tongs or death, he just glides off for Cynric's table to snatch his bottle of sauce and the tomato paste created. Both artfully stashed on the tiny bit of counter by water pump so he could fuss with getting cheap white wine to dump in the first pot with the onions, herbs, and fat. The sauce, obviously poison and not tasty treats, is added to the wine reduction. "You are well today?"
[18:35] Kynaston Chasin his little water fearing man seemed in a gloom after the comment, but Cynric watched eagerly to what he was up to and working on all the same. "Yes, perhaps that is a sad thoguht, thouh a nessassary one. For me anyways. As the removal of meats that once possessed eyes from my diet would do of poor good." Would just let Asi do as he pleased at present, and stayed out of the way unless given something to hold or do. "I am well today. I did go about town and inform people of the event at the Wardens starting tomorrow and on, but probably should have done so again at the poerty reading thing, but it is probably best we had left anyways. How are you?"
[18:44] Asi simply saw no point in arguing murder plots! For the logic of it was, if he wanted to kill his mage it'd be brutally easy to do. Thus he keeps on trucking, and no more excruciating details are needed from here on. Just cream and crusty bread, for given a good half hour later since entering and his working, the handsome human mage would have himself some tasty, creamy, slighty spicy but not overwhelmingly so... lobster bisque. Served in a large bowl with generous chunks of meat. Between his work, of course, he still chats idly, "It is good that you are promoting your ideas. I hope for the sake of you people will show and enjoyment will be had. I am well. I keep busy. The poppies are planted."
[18:50] Kynaston Chasin could probably easily be killed by Asi- the man after all knew where he sleeped, how he sleeped, and probably most of his weaknesses. He spent a bit looking about the room, before settling on just ploping down on the floor again- a place he did not seem to mind.. being more nature born than not. "It is smelling fantastic," he commented, rewardingly to Asi. "You planted the seeds? That is great. Probably a good time of the year for it too. Hopefully we will see them sprouting up in no time at all." He said in a chearful tone. "And I do not so much mind how many people come as long as al to whom come has a good time and mingle. As far as to what I am going to do.. teach... well that I am not so sure. I have nothing prepared."
[18:58] Asi gives the man his food, then glides and moves to sit behind him. Legs straddled, chest to back, face to shoulder, a full body cradling of his mage. Easily and literally conforming to his body. "You are better upon your feet," he remarks softly, "And so your lesson will simply come to you."
[19:00] Kynaston Chasin leans back into the touches of Asi. "But right now I feel like I care not to be on my feet ever again." He tilted his head to the side to brush his lips against Asi's face poping up over his own shoulder. Before he delves right on into the food. "But yes, Pretty much what I was thinking. As it is a little less than formal event than what most or many would be use to. As it is not meant to generate a large crowd right off from the start - so no big welcoming speach or introduction is likely needed, and it is best to just go by with who all shows up, and what they want."
[19:08] Asi makes a tiny sound for the kiss, perhaps even a 'bep' like peep of a noise to signal his contentment while he makes himself more comfortable in that his flesh may ever so slowly be molding itself around Kynaston's form. Slowly, slowly, he thinned, stretched, and gets between bodies disappeared. "It will be amusing and pleasant," he replies in his typical way of agreeing with something he either didn't understand, or wasn't all that interested in. Mix of both, likely, a lack of understanding causing disinterest. But no less supportive.
[19:10] Kynaston Chasin grins in a funny manner at the strange though pleasent noise that emits from Asi's mouth. Found no qualms with his 'seat' because at present it was a well formed water-beded like chair. He nods to the current conversation at hand as he eat the meal Asi prepared- seeming content himself, and rather enjoying the food. "Would you like to go to the general store in a moment to see if we can not purchase your supplies now?"
[19:14] Asi was indeed a chair! For his human could safely 'lean back' and be met with cushioned resistance and support. He was happy planting his face in the human's hair otherwise. But then! Tendrils flail harmlessly wild in cue to excitement, though he tries to sound mellow and nonchalant as he replies, "When you have finished eating. And I will chill what you can not for later."
[19:18] Kynaston Chasin did not mistake what appeared to be a note of excitement within Asi's posturing and mannerisms - though Asi contained himself well enough that Cynric did not feel rushed. He instead continued to eat and enjoy his meal till he had met his fill. The rest of it would be passed on over to Asi so that it can be saved for later- seeming about one more meals worth could be gotten out of it. He kissed Asi on the lips. "Okay once you do than we can set out." Though he would find the far to comfortable chair hard to get out of!
[19:24] Asi has to solidify himself eventually though! Just become one with himself and accept the bowl, silently amending to try harder to make something more delicious next time whilst putting the food away. "It is fine if you do not desire to," he comments after a bit. "I do not mind waiting, if you prefer other things."
[19:35] Kynaston Chasin shook his head, and licked his lips- having found it pleanty delicious enough. He stands back to his feet and slips over to his herbalist cabnit to pluck out a herb to for the most -clear the palet- but of course the herb held mild poisonings, as it was a small dose of angel's trumphant- as these sort of tastes have long since appealed to him at least in clearly out the taste of food hanging about in his mouth- not that it wasn't delicious! With that done, he would stalk over to Asi, kiss the man on the lips, thank him for the food. "No, I am more than desirable to go see if we can't get you your items at present, especially as you have just finished taking such good care of me."

[19:41] Asi putters about with some light cleaning while the grandmaster alchemist does his thing in consuming poison after a meal. A habit he was so used to he no longer bat an eye to it, not that he ever understood it enough to bat an eye in the first place. Regardless, food was eaten, poison consumed, and affectionate hugs and kisses given back to the man, belly pets and all. "Thank you," he replies quite simply, secretly excited to get his own papers finally. Now he could simply art into Cynric's journal, rather than hijack it!
[19:44] Kynaston Chasin was feeling a bit frisky after eating the meal, his herbs, and getting the nap in. Asi would be given a squeeze to his toosh while his own bare stomach was being pat. "It was fantastic, the meal." His tongue laping up the bridge of Asi's nose before he released the man to take towards the doorway- where it would be an adventure off to the upper town!
